Classic Lip Care Staple
Being prone to dry flakey lips, I always need a smooth surface for my lippie, and Vaseline is my go to item!
To gently scrub my lips clean from loose flakes I'll slather the jelly onto my lips, jump into a hot shower, and then when I get out I use an old (but clean and still usable) toothbrush to gently scrub my lips. It works to reveal soft, smooth lips~
Cheap and effective!

Eh.
I'm going to get a lot of surprised faces when people read this, but I just don't see what all the hype is about.. Yeah, it's got a million and one uses, but to me, it's too thick, too oily and I just cannot bring myself to put it on any part of my body. I'd rather a good product targeted for one area, rather than an okay product targeted for many areas.

A gal's little helper: It does the job all right!
You name it, dry lips, cheek or abs highlighter, nappy rash, dry heels, eyelash/eyebrow conditioner, etc etc Vaseline can do it!
I love its purpose but I don't like the ingredients. Something more natural like paw paw cream or a natural lubricant can do most of these things in a much more caring, natural way. I tend to go to the more natural approach when possible but I cannot deny it does a good job at nearly anything!

Great for MOST things.
I use Vaseline mainly as a protective barrier when tinting my eyebrows and it works great! I find that it last forever and is super cheap compared to some other products. I great beauty staple to keep in your bathroom.
I however dislike using Vaseline on my lips because of the ingredients not being natural, I instead opt for a natural paw paw.

Must have product
I've been using it for years, and its the best ever. I've only used it for dry lips, but it was really interesting to read some of the suggestions given for other uses.
The fact its made from petroleum jelly is a bit of a concern, perhaps in the future I will switch to paw paw which is all natural.

Great for anything!!
Is a very thick clear texture. It can be used for about absolutely anything! Redness, cuts, scrapes, nappy rash, chapped lips etc. But what I don't like about this product is the ingredients. Petroleum jelly is a product used to make petrol so that can't be good for you. So I prefer to use paw paw cream to be safe.

Great multi purpose product
Vaseline is a great product for many things such as chaffing, nappy rash and especially sore and cracked lips. Vaseline has a sort of sticky to jelly texture which is gat when rubbed into skin. It is perfect when your lips need an intensive balm. The home brand Petroleum jelly is just as good as Vaseline. Definetly recommend!

A versatile bathroom staple
I always have a tub of this in my bathroom.
It's an essential when doing a home hair colour to protect from colour transfer onto my skin. Nothing else comes close to what vaseline can do for hair dye protection.
My son uses it to help his psorasis conditiion, as a base for a treatment product - and it doesn't irritate his skin in any way.
Another family member has been using it as his lip balm for 30+ years - I've never known him to use a different product.
Every home needs one of these in it!

An original.
You can't get better than Vaseline! It's one of those multi-purpose products that everyone should own.
First and foremost, this is a great lip treatment for dry and cracked lips. In winter this is my go-to product for dry lips. When I have a cold/flu, Vaseline is great for a sore nose (from too many nose blows!). I apply a little around my nostrils to help keep them lubricated as they get so dry and sore!
I keep a pot next to my bed and put some on my lips so they're not so dry the next morning.
Another great use for this jelly is to moisturise my cuticles. I paint my nails very often so my cuticles need a treatment here and there. Vaseline is great for rubbing into my cuticles so they don't crack and look so dry!
