After trying one of St. Ives other scrubs (the apricot one) which i absolutely hated due to how rough and harsh it was on the skin, leaving it red raw and it was actually painful to use!
I found this scrub and decided to give it a try. This one is amazing, not harsh or rough at all. I absolutely love this scrub, it's a gentle refreshing scrub that leaves me skin feeling soft and smooth. I don't know what was with that apricot scrub but that was like sand paper. This one is so much better and I will continue to use this one.

As with all St Ives products, this is also nicely scented. However that's probably the only good thing about this product. It didn't do much for my face - didn't help smooth out skin (more like, it dried my skin out!) and was rubbish at exfoliation.

This is a fairly decent product - it scrubs and cleanses quite well, and it doesn't dry out my skin. However, after a few weeks of using it I've been getting far more blackheads and blemishes under my skin than I usually do.

A nice gentle scrub that I use about once a week ( maybe twice a week when I get breakouts). It is a thick, creamy scrub that has really fine exfoliating beads that makes my skin look and feel clean and smells great .
Just a couple of points though the exfoliating beads seem to get stuck around my hairline so I have to give my face a really good rinse and even though it smells great try not to get it in your mouth, it tastes awful

I think that the reason that some people are breaking out is that it is purging the skin. Meaning that the scrub gets down deep into the pores and then brings it all to the top, breaking you out, leaving you with cleaner and clearer skin. I'm not certain, but this scrub broke me out too and this could be the reason, some masks do this too :).

Good but a little drying
The St. Ives green tea scrub is very fine so it is quite gentle (compared to the apricot scrubs that were way too harsh for my skin). I like that it lathers nicely, and the smell is lovely and fresh, but it may not be suitable for really sensitive skin. I love using it once a week and following up with a clay mask. This is a fantastic scrub, but I only gave it 4 stars because it is a little drying, so always follow with your favourite moisturiser. Overall it is not too harsh and perfect for my normal-oily skin.

Not for sensitive skin
This scrub was way too harsh for my sensitive skin. It left my skin dry with several patches of flaky and dry skin around my forehead and t-zone area which where very unsightly. It dried out my skin more than any other product i've ever tried.
I wouldn't recommed this scrub at all, or any of the other St Ives scrubs either; they are all to harsh on the skin and the granules hurt instead of cleanse.

Broke me out, otherwise good
Love the exfoliating beads in this, love the smell also as it stays on my skin for another few hours. However, it broke me out a couple of times. Im in love with the smell and cleansing/exfoliating properties though.

Not for me
This scrub was not a good match for my skin. I found it too harsh and abrasive and left my skin feeling too dry.

I found that this product was great at buffing my skin and exfoliating but it has done nothing to clear my acne. It also makes my blemishes very red and visible but they're not sore. It's a great smelling product but it really hasn't benefited my skin at all.
