suitable for normal and oily skin
I have dry and sensitive skin, when I apply only small amount of scrub and massage on my face for about 2 tmin, I can smell is bit of artificial. after I washed it, some of area of my face has redness, and feel my skin very tight.
I think because this scrub also generate some foams which could wash off the excess oil.
I used its cleaning product, and dont have that feeling, but only for this scrub, I dont feel it is suitable for my skin type

Synergise Facial Scrub
For the last few weeks I have been putting the new Dr Lewinn's Synergise range of skin care products to the ultimate test, and as a faithful Dr Lewinn's skin care fan from way back, I was very keen to test drive this new budget friendly, anti-ageing skin care range, that is being mass produced to target a wider audience and is set to be readily available at one of Australia's leading supermarkets.
The range is formulated with rare active ingredients sourced from plant stem cells, featuring the hero ingredient Swiss Apple. This has been effectively proven to perform in synch with our skin cells to not only protect against free radical damage but also to assist in the natural regeneration process to rejuvenate the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Boasting antioxidants like the highly nourishing Acai Berry, protecting Green Tea and plumping and smoothing Pomegrante to even the skin tone and soften the overall texture. As well as being enriched with anti-ageing peptides to prevent wrinkles formation, reduce dark circles and puffiness along with Hyaluronic Acid to lock in moisture to help delay signs of ageing, while reversing existing skin damage.
So, considering Dr Lewinn's have offered consumers such a simple skin care program, the products themselves are far from simple. Instead, they deliver scientifically tested, powerful anti-ageing skin care products to target the average woman, who is generally so busy being swamped with her daily duties, that she lacks enough time in the day, which can often lead to neglecting and forgetting the importance of her skin health. Dr Lewinn's has conveniently introduced the perfect solution to cater for the typical woman's needs, presenting a skin care routine that is fuss-free for those who are strapped for time, yet don't want to compromise the quality of their anti-ageing skin care routine.
The Synergise Facial Scrub incorporates invigorating microbeads to slough away dulling skin cells to reveal a brighter more youthful complexion. Packaged in a smart but practical 150ml, green and white squeezable tube with a flip-top lid, that sits perfectly in my shower recess, makes for handy accessibility when showering and easy disbursement of the product. The texture of the scrub is thick and gel like in appearance, but is a somewhat cloudy colour due to the tiny granules that are just barely visible to the naked eye. The scrub is highly fragrant and smells of fruity apples, however, I do find it a little overbearing, so thankfully the scrub is not on my skin for too long or I'm afraid it would most likely give me a headache, as I am rather susceptible to strong perfumes in my skin care and prefer my products to be more subtly scented. I only need to use about a 10 cent coin size amount of the scrub to effectively massage all over my face, neck and décolleté. Whilst I normally shy away from physical facial scrubs, due to my very delicate, sensitive skin that is partial to being extra fragile around my nose and inner cheek area, I was relieved to find that the microbeads were not at all abrasive. The scrub penetrated my skin to produce an amazingly deep cleanse while the fine granules were actually super gentle on my sensitive skin areas and the botanical infused blend didn't cause my face to feel dry. .
I have been using the Synergise Facial Scrub twice weekly, in conjunction with some of the other complementary skin care products in the new line-up. I am thrilled with the results of this scrub and whilst I still prefer my chemical exfoliants, I found this to be one of the better manual scrubs I have ever tried and it is definitely suitable for those who suffer from skin sensitivity. It not only stimulates my skin it also completely unclogs my pores of any congestion, leaving them clear and more refined. Due to this I have experienced fewer blackheads or breakouts and now only seem to have the odd hormonal spot to deal with. The texture of my skin is softer and smoother already, while my instantly brighter complexion looks more healthy, youthful and radiant.
If your are partial to really enlivening skin care products and are not overly concerned about the addition of the yummy but rather sweet and over powering fragrance on board, then I suggest you give this scrub a try. I think its the kind of scent that really appeals to some people more so than others, but at the end of the day, its simply a super efficient scrub, providing noticeable results. The biggest draw card is that the Synergise range is very cost effective and practical for all budgets, allowing you to conveniently access all of your anti-ageing skin care solutions from the aisles in your local Supermarket, while shopping for all your regular grocery needs

Great anti-ageing exfoliant
I was very lucky to receive this product plus related products as a prize from BH and very keen to try this range as I need anti-ageing skin products due to my mature skin.
This product comes in a practical 150ml plastic tube with a flip flop cover that is ideal for use in the shower. I normally don't use an exfoliant in the shower but this is very handy and I use it twice a week when I wash my hair so I don't need to worry about the product getting into my hairline.
The thick creamy product has a fragrance of apples which is slightly overpowering for me and would prefer less fragrance. However, I found I needed just a small amount, like the size of a 10 cent piece, to cover my face, neck and decolletage. I didn't find the cream to be harsh or abrasive at all and I can be a little sensitive so I was pleased with the gentleness of this scrub. It was quick and easy to use and my skin felt very clean and not dry at all after use. I should mention that I have normal to dry skin so I was extremely pleased that it was not drying.
After using this for a few weeks I have found my skin to be smoother and I probably would consider buying this in the future.

More rub than scrub
I was very excited to try this scrub, as I *love* exfoliating my face with scrubs. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the number of granules in the paste-like scrub - they were few and far between, which left me rubbing the creamy base into my skin but not actually scrubbing. I also found the grains a little on the sharp side, although they do soften a bit with use. My face did feel cleaner and smoother after using the delicious-smelling scrub, and my skin didn't feel as tight as when I used the Synergise Foaming Cleanser. I don't think I'll repurchase this scrub, as I find my previous favourite scrub cheaper and more effective, but I know others have raved about it, so it's something to try before making up your mind.

No need to pay this much!
I really do like this facial scrub but after 2 weeks don't feel it's much better than other cheaper priced scrubs.
I love using scrubs with exfoliants as I find they clean the best.
I really like the smell of this one and that you don't need much so I should last a while, however at this stage, only after 2 weeks use, not sure that it any better than other cheaper priced products, but I will keep using.

A gentle scrub
One thing I will complain about with this product is that the packaging looks exactly like the foaming cleanser, and when you're standing bleary-eyed in the shower at 6am it's very easy to confuse the two!
This is a nice, gentle exfoliator - a thick gel with tiny soft granules that feels pleasant and soothing on the skin and rinses away easily. It doesn't leave any kind of film or feeling of tightness after.
As I've gotten older I've become less inclined to scour away at my skin with heavy scrubs, so I'm pretty happy with this one - I'd buy it again.

Wow, what a generous size tube of product and what a great texture too. I love a good scrub, with the right amount of grains, the right amount of cream and the right packaging for easy use. This one delivers on all counts.

An Invigorating scrub
This facial scrub comes in a very generous 150 mls size and is very good value for money. It is a very thick, white scrub with particles you can see and feel. It smells of apples and is very easy to apply. First you cleanse, then you apply the scrub to a wet face and gently massage all over. It is gentle but you can feel it working.
It is not harsh at all and you will be left with skin that feels fresh, clean, smooth and much brighter. Your moisturiser will soak right in and and if you are applying foundation, it will go on much smoother and leave you with a flawless complexion.
Its terrifc value and I would recommend use 2 - 3 times a week, even though its gentle, you dont want to over exfoliate!

Synergise Magic
I am very grateful for the chance to trial some of the Dr Lewinn Synergise range which I've used for 10 days, including Anti-aging Toner, Facial Scrub, Foaming Cleanser, Day cream and Eye cream. The Synergise range is presented beautifully in elegant white and jade-green packaging and contains the regenerative properties of the primary active ingredient, Swiss Apple extract, along with the anti-oxidants found in extracts of Green Tea, Acai Berry and Pomegranate.
The Anti-aging Facial scrub is packaged in a jade-green rectangular tube with a white cap and dispensing nozzle. This scrub has a gorgeous sweet scent more sugary than apple but not too overpowering. The scrub is a creamy green lotion with fine micro beads and is a wonderfully exfoliating but not overly harsh product. My skin felt very smooth after using this in the shower every second day and I believe it's refined the texture of my skin and improved its appearance making it more radiant. I can recommend this gentle and sweetly fragranced exfoliator, it gets top marks!

Invigorating
I have been using the Dr Lewinn's Synergise Facial Scrub for the past two weeks, in conjunction with the Cleanser, Eye Cream, Toner and Day Cream in the same range.
The Synergise Facial Scrub comes in a stylish 150ml green and white tube with a flip top lid, which makes for easy distribution. I love the fragrance because it reminds me of fresh apples. I only need to apply a small amount on my damp skin and work it into my face and neck areas, to immediately feel the micro beads, as they gently exfoliate my skin and remove any dead cells.
After rinsing off the excess product, my skin feels very refreshed, smooth and thoroughly clean. It's definitely an invigorating experience and thankfully I have not incurred any reactions while using it.
I would recommend this beautiful Synergise Facial Scrub to anyone experiencing signs of ageing, as it is an ideal anti-ageing skin buster.
Thank You Beauty Heaven, for giving me the opportunity to trial this lovely range of products.

Gentle enough for every day
This is a great facial scrub! It's one of the few that feels like it's cleaning your skin whilst also exfoliating it. After the first time I used this scrub (in conjunction with the Synergise facial cleanser) my skin felt smooth and looked clearer. Based on that alone, I would definitely add this scrub to my anti-aging arsenal!
The granules aren't fine but this doesn't make it harsh as they are in plenty of gel, so it's almost as though your face is being soothed during the exfoliation. This was certainly gentle enough to use every day.
The other plus was that the scrub removed any last bits of make-up, no doubt contributing to that very clean feeling.
For $19.95 I think this product is definitely worth getting again. I'd highly recommend it.

Handy to keep in the shower
I was thrilled to trial this range ~ thanks BH x
Loved the packaging and smell of this range, smelt like apples and was a lovely thick texture ~ be sure and get rid of the foil seal on top as I didn’t and couldn’t get the product out of the tube !
This is fantastic for shower use, I don’t use scrubs very often as I’ve got dry skin and I find them harsh. It felt quite creamy and not as grainy as other scrubs I’ve used ~ it didn’t foam much which was good as foaming products don’t usually suit my skin. I try to avoid using water on my face so thankfully It rinsed off quite easily without having to use too much water. My skin felt smooth and comfortable after use but definitely in need of moisturiser !
As far as scrubs go I really liked it and would probably use once every couple of weeks ~ if you’re a scrub person though go for it !

Not for me.
This looked good on my shower shelf, under the shower being its recommended usage. For myself, although the beads seemed to do their job, I found the whole business of using and then rinsing off in the shower very messy, I ended up with the product around my hairline and having to wash my hair- maybe I shower differently from other people! I did use again over the bathroom basin and it did leave my skin quite soft. Using the Synergise toner after though, caused quite a bit of stinging despite this being recommended as the next step.
Have found other exfoliators to be more effective and gentler.

Best Scrub Yet!
With energising micro-beads the Dr Lewinn's Synergise Anti-ageing Facial Scrub has become my favourite scrub.
The micro beads in the cleanser clean my skin without causing redness and leave it feeling soft. I do find scrubs often dry out my skin and leave it feeling tight but I have not experienced that problem with this scrub. prepares my skin for creams and make-up and comes in a handy flip top which is so easy when using it in the shower.

It's all about Synergy!
I agree completely with Moonchild, although I do have one question, I couldn't see anywhere on the instructions if this is gentle enough for daily use? I always worry that using some facial scrubs too often can be more detrimental than beneficial and I would love to know the answer ?
It's lovely to use and another champion against the signs of old age. I haven't seen too many anti-ageing scrubs so I am delighted with this one! I believe when using this with the Synergise Toner, eye cream and day cream there are definitely signs of improvement in the look and feel of my skin and in this case I don't believe that love is blind! Love the tube, it doesn't take up too much shower space, the scent is subtle but lovely and the result is more than pleasing! Love it!

OMG Is This The Perfect Scrub?!
This scrub reminds me of apple sauce!! (In a nice way!) It's scent, for one, is very appley and it's has the consistency of apple sauce as well as the colour of apple sauce too!
That's what I noticed firstly about it anyhow!
To feel this on my skin it was grainy but not harsh and not too gentle either which is great because I love to feel grains doing their job when I want to have a good scrub! This scrub achieves that for me and my skin feels soft and buffed after I've used it.
I've tried another Dr. Lewinn's scrub before which was runnier and more 'gentle' than this scub's micro beads. This scrub tops it! It's just right! I'll be using this one again - it's a complete bargain for the price of $19.95! Wow!
It's in a similar chubby squeezable flat tube to the cleanser in this range. The flip-top lid easily dispenses the desired amount, which for me was about two peas-worth for a luxurious and thorough scrub all over my face. I love it's anti-aging technology (the Swiss Apple Plant Stem Cell technology) as I happily scrub away all my old dead cells.
I need to mention that my pimple-prone aging skin has improved with the use of this scrub (and cleanser & moisturiser & toner in this range). My skin is much clearer. I think it could be a perfect match for me because this range is also looking after the 'aging side' of my skin concerns without being overly heavy.
Did I mention that I love this scrub?

This Dr. scrubs up!
Of all the Dr. Lewinn’s products I recently trialled, this is my favourite. The thick pale aqua cream contains the perfect amount of suspended exfoliating beads that are initially quite firm (not sharp), but they soften as you massage the scrub into your skin. I’m totally in love with the fragrance - smells quite different to the usual fruity scrubs, divinely fresh (is that the acai berries?) and an invigorating start to the whole “get ready for the day” routine. My skin felt super clean and firm afterwards, but not the slightest bit dry or tight, and the surface felt smooth and soft. I think it would be suitable for any skin type, an added bonus for me as my skin seems to change with the seasons, drier in winter, oilier in summer. The flip-bottom pack makes dispensing easy, and the tall flat shape takes up minimal room in the shower caddy. This is my new favourite scrub!

My new favourite scrub
This scrub is gorgeous. It's so fine and soft and really goes on smoothly, it smells deliciously fruity, and best of all, it isn't the slightest big drying. I like it so much that I tend to massage it into my skin for quite a while (3 or so mins), and it washes off really well, with no residues. I have dry sensitive skin and this left my skin feeling so clean, and didn't irritate it at all.

Gentle and Refreshing Apple Scrub
This has a fruity apple scent and is a cream base scrub that comes in a tube packaging for easy standing in the bathroom counter or shower shelf. The exfoliating beads are very fine spheres which are less harsh and unlikely to scratch skin and will gently exfoliate skin to reveal softer, fresher new skin.
Contains apple stem cell extract, green tea and pomergranite extract to boost the anti-oxidant level on skin and promote healthy radiant skin.
Great for use in showers not just on the face but neck and décolletage areas as well to remove dead skin cell build up, impurities whilst providing an invigorating massage with the exfoliating beads and leaves me feeling smooth, baby soft skin after the shower. There is no tight skin feeling after using this so it does not over strip moisture from skin and I would recommend it for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Not enough exfoliation and drying
I foudn that this scrub didn't exfoliate my skin as well as my current exfoliator and unfortnately left my skin feeling dry after use. I have combination skin with dry cheeks due to broken capillaries. I only used this scrub a few times as I found it too drying. As a result, I wouldn't use this product again. The product had a pleasant but strong fragrance and it was quite thick and a bit hard to get out of the tube. The tube however has a convenient shape and size, ideal for use in the shower.

A product to share!
Thank you Dr Lewinn! Here's a product that gets the seal of approval from me and equally from my partner. With the handy shower-proof packaging it is left in the shower for us both to use for great results. My face felt wonderfully soft and clean after the first use, which is why I recommended it to him and he loved it too.
The texture of the scrub is nowhere near as gritty as many facial scrubs and yet it did a better job of making my skin feel really refreshingly clean. For that reason I would be inclined to use it more often than my usual scrub. With a barely discernable aroma this is a product the whole adult family will love to use. I will definitely add it to our regular bathroom buys.
