An in-betweenie that just doesn't quite do either very well

This is probably rather harsh, considering that this product isn't bad at all. Quite the opposite actually. I found it to be a decent face wash, although my face didn't feel as clean as it could have been and my makeup mostly stayed on. There wasn't much of a lather, probably due to its "scrub" properties. As a scrub, it wasn't very good. Too mild I think. Pleasant scent though. So all in all I would say that if you want a GENTLE face wash and scrub, this is the one for you. If you need something a little more heavy duty, next please!

i love this

i got a 5 day trial along with a moisturiser from nivea as part of a campaign they were running and i love it my skin has never been softer and my blackheads on my chin are less visible <3... i actually went and bought this once i had ran out... i love that its a scrub and wash all in one because i feel they do a better job than other plain washes or scrubs and if you do use both well then it save you quite a bit of money being you only have to buy one product... its so nice to use as the exfoliants arent to rough on the skin and it actually feels quite soothing to massage into your face... i love that it gets rid of the dead skin and washes away the day at the same time leaving your skin so much clearer and so very soft... the smell is so delicate and refreshing... i think that unless a new better product comes out i will be repurchasing...

Refreshing!

I am a huge fan of Nivea and this cleaner I have purchased twice now and seem to have come back to it. It makes my skin feel nice and refreshed and gives it a cooling sensation for a few minutes once rinsed off. 150ml bottle lasts a long time which makes this great value for money. I only use about a 5c size amount for my while face and neck. The mico-scrub in it would probably work well on sensitive skin types. But for me I feel like my skin gets a lot of dead skin build up and needs something harsher. The fragrance is quite nice and smells a little like soap or moisturiser. I find that it does a good job of removing excess oil from your skin without drying it out, which is great!

Great clenaser; so-so scrub

This works very well as a cleanser because the little granules give it a bit of an oomph. But as a scrub? Nuh-uh! The granules aren't big enough or there aren't enough of them to work well as a scrub!

Gentle cleanser & scrubber

This is a decent budget item to buy. You only need to use a little bit (and it's great to use on a face brush), but the scrub part doesn't seem to do much - maybe there need to be more granules, because it's better as a decoration.

I recommend using this as a facial cleanser, then using a seperate scrub product afterwards.

too gritty

I have been using this every couple of days, i found it much too gritty for my liking, although after cleansing my face it did feel nice and soft. i only use this every few days as i think its too harsh to use everyday and night. I do like the affordabiliity of this product tho.

Affordable Cleanser

This isn't my regular cleanser as I don't find it suits my maturing/dry skin for everyday use. But it is a very affordable cleanser from a great brand and I do use it in between my regulars (when I run out, before repurchasing my usual). I love the colour of this and I love the little blue specks through the gel. They just seem to give you that extra clean. This product smells quite nice and feels OK on my skin, it cleans the grime off my face somewhat effectively. My negative really comes through at the end of using it and when I've patted my face dry, my face does get that tight, mask-like sensation where I just want to grab the first bottle of moisturiser I can lay my hands on and plaster it over my face. So this is why it's not a regular in my skincare routine but it's a favoured brand that I will buy for my teenage daughter as I know it's very reasonably priced and would be perfect for her skin.

Wash and scrub

Nivea has made a wonderfully gentle and soft scrub and wash in one, which can be used many times a week. At the bargain price of under 10 dollars, its super affordable, first off. Next, the product will last you ages. I share it with my mum and she uses it once a week, i use it twice a week for my combination skin. It's great for young and old, being so gentle. I has a delicate scent which is refreshing. I would buy this product again.

a must get!

this has such a beautiful smell in it...
it cleanser so softly and has beads that clean deep into your poles and also feel like a massage! my skin feels great all day long...

Great multi-tasker

I believe in changing my skin care brand every now and then as i feel my skin can come too use to the same products, I bought this two in one scrub and wash because i wanted something multipurpose that was not too abrasive but still gave my skin a nice exfoliation. This product is great as its is gentle enought to use every day and gives your skin a clean feel without overdrying or making your skin feel tight and uncomfortable. Its great for my oily skin and a little product goes a reallly long way, so it is great value for money. It has a subtle fragrance. I really do recommed this!!

Love my scrub

Best used when massaged in with the finger tips. The soft smooth feeling after is just amazing. Keeps my skin looking perfect. It's like a professional cleanser.

New Favoutire

This is an excellent scrub so soft and gentle on the skin that I can use it everyday. It leave my face feeling nice and soft. After using for about a week I have actually noticed that some areas on my face a smoother than they were before. Another great thing about this is the scent, it's hard to described but to me it's the smell of Nivea and I love it.

cheap but works!

i bought this and immediatley felt a difference in my skin! blackheads dissapeared and pimples were minimal. i would reccomend this to anyone! x

My favourite cleanser

I always use this cleanser as it is refreshing and helps get rid of my blemishes. It gives a really nice clean feeling and doesn't dry out my skin.

Good long lasting face wash!

Only use the tiniest amount (about the size of the nail on your pinky) as it lathers up really well and a small amount is all you need!

Grest in the shower

I bought this product as I have a problem with adult pimples quite often and need to feel that whatever I use really gets my skin clean. I love the smell of the product first of all... it reminds me of the sea! I like how it really cleans my skin and makes it feel firm and a bit dry ready for my moisturiser. I have noticed less pimples since using it but only use it a few times a week in conjunction with other cleansers I have at home. A little bit seems to go a long way too, and I like the slight gritty property it has as a gentle scrub. Like this one a lot.

I was given this in a beauty bundle, and even though i have normal skin not combination skin, I tried it and works really well and the amount of pimples i have since using this is much less

Great product

Delivers what it promises! Great for everyday use and works beautifully on combination skin. You don't need to use much, so the tube is going to really last long.

Not much of a scrub

This Nivea Visage 2in1 Wash & Scrub is claims to be gentle exfoliating scrub and cleansing gel in one. While the idea of a 2 in 1 product is great, especially in the mornings, when I much prefer an additional couple of minutes in bed – to me, this I more of a wash cream than a scrub cream – although claiming to be gentle, this is almost too gentle as its very hard to feel the ‘scrubbing particles’ in the cream – which consequently means that I just don’t feel that my face is as ‘clean’ as I would have thought after using a facial scrub. I purchased this as it was supposed to save me time in the shower in the mornings, and as it had a great price below $10 – however, I have previously used other 2 in 1 products at much the same cost, which has delivered better results for my combination skin – and hence I will not be purchasing this product again.

Scrub????

I love the idea of a gentle scrub because I don't want anything too abrasive on my skin, but this seem to have hardly any grittiness to it. The consistency is gooey, like all of Nivea's cleansers so it takes a bit of washing off in order to make your face feel clean and free of product. It's good that this cleanser seems to be quite gentle on skin, but in all honesty, my face just doesn't feel as fully cleansed as I like it to after using a facial wash, and this is important to me as I don't use a toner. I suppose it's not bad for the price, but I don't think that I'll repurchase it.

Does the job, nothing special.

This is a product that does what it says without amazing results. It's basic and clean and exfoliates without you feeling like you have amazing skin. I guess I expect great results from Nivea products and this didn't meet there normal standard.

Typical Nivea product.

I don't know what it is, maybe Nivea only cater to one type of skin - I have oily/combination skin, and every Nivea product I've tried I've found to be substandard and drying. Same goes for this one - it did nothing but dry out my skin. Sadly I have to put up with their products because my mum keeps buying them - she forgets that I don't like Nivea; the only thing she remembers is that I mentioned it.

Toner-less

Tried this and it felt good to use and made my face feel alive. Was easy to use as no toner required although I do like to use toner so I may not continue with it.

great cleansing

I have been using this product morning and night, it's pretty good once i scrub and wash it off my skin is visibly cleaned but what i'm not keen on is the little bits of exfoliating scrub left on my skin, i can still feel them once i moisturise, but apart from that i total recommend it.

Feels good

I like how well this cleanser lathers and how my skin feels clean but not tight after using this.
It doesn't do much for me scrub-wise though, and I've wondered really what the point was of the blue bits!
Smells good too.

Good price, good product

I am in love with this at the minute! I use it in the shower, it feels nice and cooling on my sensitive red skin, it exfoliates without making me feel like I've used sandpaper on my face, and cleans (without foaming, nice and gentle) without leaving me feeling 'raw.' definitely a convert to this cleanser!

Nice product

Although I prefer the grittier Nivea gentle exfoliator, this one is quite nice for an everyday cleanser, I use it in the shower on a morning. I'm trying out the Nivea range at the moment and like it alot. This is a very gentle product and gives my skin a light exfoliation and leaves my skin feeling very fresh and clean without being dry. You only need a little bit too the big tube will last ages! Will continue to use it. : )

Cheap and average

This 2 in 1 Wash and scrub is a great cleanser if you want a very gentle scrub yet wash and cleanse your pores. I found this very average, cleansed my face very well, cleaned off all my makeup. My skin was slightly softer and it was perfect for my skin type, it really did cleanse off the oil on my face. The great thing about this product too is that it will last a really long time, there is so much in the bottle and it is cheap too, i really recommend this.
