Great in moderation.

I started using Dermalogica upon recommendation from a friend. The dermalogica range i find is great but, it can be a little bit pricey.
I use this scrub only once a week and it does the job. Definitely recommend but only if you are willing to spend some money.

Too harsh..

I bought this product but I dont use it much ... I find it irritates and feels too harsh on my sensitive skin. I'm also worried that it might make me break out.. RESPONSE FROM DERMALOGICA: Hi Lena,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience with Dermalogica. Have you had a professional Skin Therapist take a look at your skin? Dermalogica offers complimentary Face Mapping skin analysis which will provide you with in depth information about your skin type and conditions. It is difficult to diagnose your skin and prescribe the ideal products for you with seeing you in person however from your reviews I can imagine that you have quite a sensitised skin and need to a/ be utilising Dermalogica’s UltraCalming range b/ slowly introduce your skin to products over time as it sounds as though your skin is overwhelmed with a handful of different formulations.
If I may assist you any further in locating your nearest Dermalogica Skin Bar or to discuss your experience further, please feel free to contact Kelly Salter on ksalter@dermalogica.com.au or 8437 9669.
I would very much like to assist you in finding the best products for your skin and helping you to achieve your ultimate skin health.

Been using it for 2 years

I love dermilogica in general as it keeps my face clean and fresh. I do this exfoiliant product from them as it has helped my face stay fresh and not dry by taking away the dead skin. I did take away a star because when my face gets really bad with breakouts this doesn't help me. But in general it helps a lot!

Super exfoliant

This product will leave your skin feeling clean and fresh after using it. It is very grainy and exfoliates very well, however I would not recommend using it more than twice a week as it will dry out your skin.
If used in moderation it will do wonders for your skin. I also have sensitive skin and it did not cause me any problems or breakouts.

Love it

I use this product once a week I like to use this scrub for a deeper exfoliation. It's make of "natural corn cob meal" and even though it's a stronger scrub, it still doesn't feel drying or damaging to your skin. Sometimes if my nose area gets flaky during the week (by using too much clearing gel), I'll use a bit there to take off the flakes. I bought this primarily to use as the first step to my home facial.

EXCELLENT

I love this product. I have used it for about 3years now and cant live without it. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and completely re-freshed. Its not over drying or harsh. It has completely cleared my skin of black heads and any other imperfections. I cant rate this product highly enough. Its a must buy!!!

Wonderful when used once a week only

I was using this twice a week as recommended by my therapist, however it irritated my skin too much and caused massive break-outs. After another consultation I was advised to only use this once a week - Since doing so, its wonderful. My skin feels amazing afterwards and you can notice instant improvements in complexion. It has also helped to minimise blackheads on my nose and chin area.

Decent product but a overpriced

I used to use this before I started using the Dr LeWinns facial polishing gel. This is a much smaller tube and its a bit more expensive.

This is quite a decent exfoliator. Its quite grainy and thick in consistency so you only need a bit of product. I did find it a bit more abrasive compared to the Dr LeWinn, and also left my face feeling drier after I used it so I always had to apply a moisture mask afterwards.

I think its overpriced if you compare it to St Ives which not only looks very similar but feels very similar and I get the same results, except St Ives is much much much cheaper.

Similar to St. Ives, but much more expensive.

I heard such rave reviews of this I just had to get one, but I was a little dissapointed to find it very very similar to the St Ives scrubs. Its basically the same texture, the granuals are very similar. The only difference is that the Dermalogica skin prep scrub is a lot more expensive and is only 75ml whereas the St Ives is much cheaper and the bottle is huge. It is a decent product though, which is why I rated it 3 hearts, but definitely would not receommend for people who get irritated skin easily.
