Masque madness at the Mackinnons

The other night, I was busy packing my bags for my BET (Big Europe Trip – you know, the one I’ve been harping on about for donkeys now), and I got a little hot and flustered – man, packing can be stressful!
It was then that my Alpha-H Soothing and Calming Mask caught my eye – it had been a while since our last encounter, so I decided to pop some on and let it work it’s magic.
But I couldn’t be left to bask in the brilliant calming effects alone, oh no. It wasn’t two minutes before my younger sister, Claudia caught sight of my attempt at a pamper session and wanted in too. So I gave her a slather to enjoy.
Next, even younger sister, Laura yelped that she too deserved some soothing blue brilliance on her mug – so, 
*sigh* I obliged…
Not long after I waltzed out to the lounge room to grab my laptop and was greeted by dad, rubbing his hands together, laid back – announcing that he was in dire need of a skin treatment too. Uhh – it seems that the mere mention of masques or any sort of pampering has the whole Mackinnon house up in arms – check out the pics if you don’t believe me…

Bubble baths are my absolute favourite way of pampering myself. The nicest way to enjoy a mask is while you are luxuriating in a big bath of warm scented bubbles. MMMMMmmmm

Hahaha, Liv! Your Masque Madness has cured my Mondayitis! That photo of your Dad is hilarious! Good on him for being such a good sport! I can also relate to your sister dynamics as I have two younger sisters who occasionally like share in my beauty action! : )

I reserve samples for a weekend pamper or when go away overnight for work. Then I just try different skin care products and relax in bed watching the TV.
I've tried Alpha-H's Liquid Gold mask and foudn it was really good so I'd be keen to try others from the same company.

I love masks but don't often have the time to put them on. Just remind your dad that he mustn't actually lick the mask no matter how good it smells!

I love using a good scrub followed by a mask but I've been slack lately. I need to get ready for work in a bit so maybe I'll throw on a mask for a bit of a pick-me-up.

Haha I love how Dad wanted some too :))) Being an only child Dad used to let me play with him and put all sorts of stuff on his face... Ahh the things you do for your daughter lol... I love masks but unfortunately haven't found anything that actually works on my skin so I don't tend to use them at all.. So all I do these days is hot towel, scrub, tone and moisturise... very simple :)

I will second that I also love a mask to relax at home - even if I only ever get 10 minutes to secretly hide away.
