EYE GEL LINER

Hey everyone (:
So I’ve recently been interested in eye gel liner but I’m not sure which brand is suitable for a begginer like me. So please suggest some brands and I’ll try them out 😀 THANK YOU

I use BYS (be yourself) eye gel liner [magic] from Cosmetics Plus and it was $8..since it was a new release to the shop and I like it even though it was cheap. I also use The Body Shop’s liquid liner in black.

I’ve been using Smashbox Jet Set Gel Liner in Black because according to my research it’s an awesome product that doesn’t smudge. I’ve had it for over a year and I think it’s showing sign of drying. When I started using it, I loved it because it really did stay and I didn’t have panda eyes for abt 8 hrs. I think it does deteriorate after though.

I can’t say this for sure but I think it may be less creamy than the MAC Fluidline. I’m definitely going to give that a try!

Oh I could suggest some liquid liner pens which has been raved by people. Koji Dolly Wink Liner Pen and/or Eyeko Graffiti Pen Eyeliner. They work out to be approx. $15 including postage so they are excellent. They don’t smudge either and very easy to apply. I’m going to stock up on those once I run out of my Smashbox gel liner. You can check out frmheadtotoe on Youtube or her blogs to see how those liners work. It’s how I found out about them!

I have used both MAC fluidline and the Clinique gel liner. Personally I prefer the Clinique. 🙂

I have a Bobbi Brown gel liner in black and a Clinique cream liner in bronze and I love them. (Didn’t pay full price, thank goodness, or I still wouldn’t have either!) One thing that can make a difference to how much enjoyment you get out of them is which brush you use to apply them. I’ve tried a push-liner brush and an angled brush and the application is very different, which give you a bit of versatility in your looks. I did have a fine liner brush, but my husband now uses it to paint fine details onto models that he builds. I’m still looking for a replacement.

Bobbi Brown has a great fine liner brush which I have used for many years. Cannot believe it has last the distance, but I guess that comes with quality products.

I have napoleon gel eyeliner in bronze and i love it.The texture is really creamy and it applies like a dream.Do remember to keep the lid on your gel liner…it’s best to take a little out of the jar with the end of your brush and put it on the back of your hand then you can recap the container.
