Incredibly moisturising

I've never used an eye balm or cream before, but because I'm only 20 years old, I wasn't exactly looking for anything anti-ageing or fancy, just a good moisturiser for my dry eyelids, as I find sometimes other moisturisers are a little too heavy.

This stuff is truly wonderful! It's smooth, mousse-like and absorbs quickly, so I can apply it in the morning and then put primer and make up on top of it straight away without worrying at all. It's also very very moisturising, so I've seen a definite reduction in redness on my eyelids, as well as a small reduction in the appearance of dark circles under my eyes and puffy bags.

Only concerns are the price ($45), and the fact that a pot has a shelf life of only about 3 months, though mine is almost done and is a few weeks short of expiring. Will definitely repurchase though.

smoothing and plumping effect

Loccitanes shea ultra rich eye balm is so gentle yet so effective on my dry irritated skin! After cleansing, I would often feel tight and irritated but this eye cream creates a barrier protecting my eyes from any dry and roughness! It also makes it a great concealer base making it apply evenly and smoothly! Its light in texture and extremely hydrating!

L'Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Eye Balm

Retailing at $44.95, L'Occitane's Shea Ultra Rich Eye Balm is fantastic! It is a true to form eye balm and a little bit does spread a long way. It does not feel heavy and the skin around my eye area feels plump and really smooth. I love this product and will most likely purchase it again in future (I am not rushing through it though, I am just enjoying it!)
