No-one knows a worthy product like a beauty addict. Check out five of the buys that in-the-know Bh members gave top marks to this week…
La Prairie Age Management Eye Repair, $180
"I had a generous 3mL GWP of this product and I loved it. It lasted about four weeks as I only used it at night (it has only just run out). The skin under my eyes was definitely softer and smoother when I awoke each morning, and it was also brighter/whiter with greater clarity and translucency. This is a bit pricey, but it would last a long time." Rating: 5/5

Nivea Visage Young Wash Off! Mild Cleansing Gel, $8.50
"I have been using Nivea Visage Young products every day for about three years and I have been through a few bottles of this. It is my favourite cleansing gel on the market. It cleans deep into pores, removing every trace of make-up, dirt, bacteria and oil. I would definitely recommend it to young skin as it prevents breakouts. I am 13 years old, which is a common age for pimples, and I have only had one or two in my life." Rating: 5/5

Elizabeth Arden Covering Cream SPF15, $36
"I have had a tube of this in my beauty bag since I was 14. That was 20 years ago. When I was younger, I used it to cover up everything – it truly works. Nowadays I find this is the best suncream, especially if you still want to look flawless – it doesn't even wash off when you go swimming. I will continue to use this one forever. I love it." Rating: 5/5

Al’Chemy Macadamia & Wheat Conditioner, from $12.95
"I bought this in the huge economy-sized pump dispenser and my whole family loved it so much it all but disappeared within a month!! The formulation is super creamy and has a lovely natural scent which lingers in my hair long after it has dried. I love the way this detangles, softens and adds shine, but perhaps the best part of all is the way it rinses clear leaving no dreaded residue. This is perfect for my long, fine, colour treated hair. The price is very reasonable so I will re-purchase this again and again." Rating: 5/5
- Beautylicious
Garnier Body Tonic Sugar Scrub, $11.99
"I absolutely love this exfoliator. It's the only one I use! You can tell it really exfoliates your skin well – my body feels very soft and smooth after each use. Plus smells delicious!" Rating: 5/5
- Elmo
Rimmel London Xtreme Volume Comb Mascara, $14.95
"This is an awesome product for WOW lashes. I love the comb. It isn't an every day mascara; this is a nighttime mascara for those who want to stand out." Rating: 5/5

The Garnier body scrub is wonderful. I always keep a tube in the shower, great for reviving tired feet too! The follow up moisture lotion/firming gel is a great match too

What a great idea - a comb for mascara instead of a brush! No more accidental 'pokes in the eye' - and the formula is fantastic too! Great product!

I wonder if pimply 27yr olds are considered too old to use the Nivea Visage Young range?

Hi mmlandrhallam, I certainly hope not! I love and adore the Nivea Visage Young Be Beautiful! tinted moisturiser - it's a gift for my can't-believe-I'm-still-breaking-out-like-a-teenager 20-something skin. Whatever works works, right? The only thing we older spotsters need to bear in mind is that we need to be thinking about elasticity and supporting our ageing skin at the same time! Oh, a glamourista's job is never done! ;o) Tracey xx

The eye repair is something I'd love to try but I can't justify this price at the moment. I'll have to hunt through more products and reviews to find a good-yet-cheaper one.
