The UK has the Queen (and Russell Brand), Canada has the Ryans (Gosling and Reynolds) and the US has Beyonce - and now, Blue Ivy Carter.

So when you look at Australia, what can you identify as our claims to fame? Kylie, Heath Ledger and Vegemite are probably the first to spring to mind, but what about the other Aussie credits? The beauty brands that have taken the world by storm and put our little Island home on the map?

Go the Aussie products!!!! I just purchased some Australian products at Priceline and because I bought Australian I got a free suncream with a special clip on it to attach to your bag etc.
Dont forget Sukin too!!!!

Any Australian brand that uses sandalwood as a major scent in their product goes straight to the top of my list - loving the sounds of that Mount Romance Sandalwood Body Butter and also the Dr. Lewinns SPF30+ moisturiser is so easy to love.

I'm so happy to see the promotion of Aussie Products! I feel not enough is being done to keep money and employment in Australia. Lately I have been making a conscious effort to buy 100% Australian (or as close as possible) Weather it be groceries or other products. I think If we get the word out as much as possible, and encourage others to support Australia, we can look forward to a much brighter future for all Aussies.

I use products from a wide variety of brands, but I'm hooked on Australis for a number of makeup items. FOA and Mirenesse are also beaut, and had no idea that Dr LeWinn's was aussie. Thanks for the list and links Liv - lots of new ones to try, oi oi oi!

My favourite aussie brand is australis! I love their makeup and their facial powders. I also love face of australia cosmetics, I think they have gorgeous packaging for their products. The dr lewinn's facial moisturising lotion looks really nice, I'll have to check it out next time I'm shopping.
