Women-toasting

Olay’s got a pretty good rep when it comes to skin care, so it should come as no surprise that the brand has just released an entire range of hard-working, super-effective cleansers. And because we can’t get enough of the new cleansing line, we felt it only right to share some of our favourites with you.

Olay Foaming Face Wash – If the fact that this deep-cleaning, yet gentle cleanser will remove all traces of dirt, make-up, and oil from your skin isn’t enough to get you to your nearest Olay stockist, then the fact that it’s available in different variants to cater specifically to your skin type certainly will.

Olay Shine Control Lathering Cleanser – If you’ve got combination or oily skin and you’re looking to reduce that pesky shine, this is one cleanser you’ll want in your bathroom cupboard. Plus, the kaolin clay in the cleanser has the deep-cleansing power of a mud mask, all in your daily cleanser – win!

Olay Blackhead Clearing Scrub – With two per cent salicylic acid, this scrub helps remove excess oil, eliminates most blackheads, and helps new blackheads from forming. Talk about a multi-tasker.

Did you know? You can buy Olay products online! Simply visit the Olay online store – it makes purchasing your skin care products super easy!

What do you look for in a cleanser?

I look for gentle and effective cleansers. Preferably a multi tasker that removes my makeup and still feels fresh that I can rinse off with water. I use Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing Oil. Every once in awhile I try a different cleanser and find I miss my cleansing oil. It isn't heavy, doesn't leave an oily residue and turns into a milky face wash when I add water.

I prefer foaming cleansers over milky ones. For some reason I feel like my face isn't as clean when I use milky ones. I'm currently using Sukins Foaming Facial Cleanser. I love the ingredients in it like witch hazel.

My youngest is Miss 15 and shes very lucky to have wonderful looking skin.
Shes been taking care of her skin since she was 12 which is about the same age as i was when i started to use a cleanser instead of soap.

I've seen their new range in store at Coles. I love how now they are appealing to everyone not just older people. I've always felt that their products were to old for my skin so have never really considered Olay but now I'm actually considering trying their products. I'll have to wait though at the moment I'm trying out nuetrogena's black head scrub hope it's good.

Sounds interesting but I'm always a bit careful with cleansers like this, usually they're full of chemicals that instead of helping the problem it aggravates it. Will keep an eye on it though!

I've never actually tried anything by Olay, I've always wanted to but just never got round to it. what i like in a cleanser is i prefer a gel based one, and it needs to be good, i like it to take off every spot of makeup off without having to do it a second time, and I need one that doesn't irritate my eyes.

I prefer a foaming cleanser - and always use that to remove makeup, and then followed by a more deep cleansing treatment one such as the MD Formulations cleanser.

I used to love gel and foamy cleansers but now prefer cream cleansers which also foam/lather up. I currently use Jill Stuart Cream Wash which is creamy, gentle and lathers up easily and has a nice berry scent. I only use a tiny amount and it lathers up easily for a deep cleanse.

I like cream cleansers, foaming ones make my dry face feel tight. I'm using moogoo wash atm and it's great.

I like a gentle cream cleanser that does the job - gels and foams dry me out :(

I normally prefer cream cleansers as they seem to keep my skin softer, although I havent tried any oil cleansers and would be keen to give them a go.

I prefer a cleanser that is a foaming and gel that doesn't leave my skin taut, milky cleansers make my skin oily or leaves a film on my face.

I prefer mild cleanser that doesn't foam too much as otherwise my skin dries out terribly.

I love Sukin Cream Cleanser. It contains rosehip oil and other goodies. It leaves my skin feeling really clean and soft. They also have a foam cleanser which is really good. They also do not test on animals.

I'd be interested in the Olay foaming cleanser - I think they really do a good job of cleaning the skin.

Im very fussy with my cleansers. I don't like them if my face is dry or tight after using them!

Oh yay, love it when faithful companies bring out new products - pretty keen to try both the shine control cleanser and the face wash (the pump pack looks great). I need something that doesn't strip moisture from my face, but is powerful enought to take off my long wear foundation. Currently sold on the Olay Definity cream cleanser :-)
