Changing your look can sure be stressful…

Well, here you have it beauties – my brand new look!

Still can’t believe I actually went through with it, and still totally freaking myself out every time I catch a glimpse of my reflection (also can’t stop looking at myself so you’d think one would counteract the other, but clearly not in this case!).

I have to admit though that the lead-up was a little bit stressful. First of all, I was pretty worried that something would go wrong and I’d end up with some random shade of red or green, or that my hair would be damaged beyond repair. Or worse, that no one would like my new look (me included).

And of course, I was also stressed that on top of a hair overhaul, I’d have to undergo a complete make-up kit and wardrobe overhaul too (you kind of forget how one really relies on the other until you decide to make a change).

Thankfully, amidst all this change there was still one cosmetic constant – my skincare regime (which right now happens to be made up in part by the Neutrogena® Acne Stress Control™ Power-Cream Wash, and the Neutrogena® Acne Stress Control™ Power-Clear Scrub. Strange co-incidence considering I was starting to feel somewhat stressed and anxious, but true I promise!).

Thanks to that, my skin rallied against potential anxiety-caused breakouts, and thanks to Vincent (my fabulous colourist at Sydney’s Headcase Hair - stay tuned for footage from my transformation), my new Wella Koleston Perfect Pure Line colour looks rich, luscious and shiny – even if it does take some getting used to!
