I've been using it for 2 years now. this cleanser is awesome and its suitable for me. great job avene. :D Its suitable for acne prone and blemishes skin.

Irritated my dermatitis

I wanted to love this cleanser. I can't use sulfates and this was sulfate free but something else in this irritated my dermatitis and I experienced an increase in scale. Once I eliminated this, my skin settled down again. I have given this to my boyfriend to use and he likes it. It is a very nice gel cleanser, just not for me.

One to try

I found this cleanser to be great on my acne prone skin. It really deep cleans and doesnt leave my skin with that tight feeling. I recommend it to oily or acne prone skin types.

Gentle cleanser for sensitive skin

Works better for oily skin I guess but because my dry skin tends to going all oily during the day, this is good at cleansing and removing the oil without drying or irritating my skin. Good value too in terms of price.

A bit drying

I found this cleanser cleansed well, but a bit drying on my face - it removed too much of the natural oils on my face.

great

This product is great.
Most face cleansers can dry your skin out after leaving your skin tigh, but this doesnt , its great and leaves your skin clean, feeling fresh ! Recomend it to everyone !

Heaven sent!!!

Ah I think I've finally found my perfect cleanser, this takes a while to kick in, I've been using it just over four weeks now and have definitely seen the results over the past week. I've had terrible hormal acne on my chin area the past couple of months and I had to ditch my fave more natural cleansers as they weren't removing oil effectively for me. This Avene cleanser leaves my skin fresh but not tight and somehow it does actually control the oil on my face I am much much less oily than a month ago. It's true what Avene say about this cleanser also, although it's quite expensive compared with other Priceline products you only need a small amount and the bottle will last ages. It's non-drying and although it doesn't shift stubborn acne I do believe it prevents oil overproduction and therefore helps prevent further spots. I use this twice a day and every second morning I swap it out for Garnier 3-in-1, then use the Avene water spray as a toner and my skin has cleared considerably. Worth every cent!! No harsh chemicals and no parabens either, well done Avene! :)

Great for Oily Skin

I stumbled upon this product 3 years ago. I have oily/combination skin leaning toward oily skin. Any skin cleanser I used was not enough - within 1/2 hour of using any product, my face would shine (and not in a good way). I bought this this product from Priceline and have not let go since! You only need a teeny amount for super cleansing. And the best part? It does not dry out my skin nor do I have the shine I mentioned earlier. And now my skin is oh so soft! I don't know if I would recommend this to people with dry skin - my sister has dry skin and she's told me it dries her skin out even more.

great cleanser

it's great for sensitive and oily skin. Feel clean and not dry after using it.
Price is also fair for it's size.
