Very effective at cleansing

I love this reliable product. I use it daily when I wake up and to remove make up at night and it removes every little bit of oil and product. It doesn't dry out or irritate skin. My only issue with the product is that it smells strange. It's aloe vera however it can smell overwhelming at times. Nonetheless it is an effective, no-frills cleanser that does the job well.

Gentle but effective

This cleanser leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth but most importantly clean! There's no residue after you wash it off and your skin doesn't feel dry either...it's very gentle, but it works! It's good for everyday use/sensitive skin.

Not so great after all

I've been using this for while and always thought it was great until I developed lots of little whiteheads all over my cheeks and my skin turned bright red. I stopped using this and all other Olay products (Regenerist cream and the original Olay fluid) and my skin cleared up. It's a shame since the brand seems to work for so many people. On the positive end, I'm more knowledgeable of ingredients in beauty products now and have figured out what works for me and what doesn't. This doesn't.
Ingredients -

Leaves residue on skin

I usually love Olay moisturisers and this is the first cleaners I have tried and I did not like it very much. It feels like it leaves a residue on my skin. I like the squeaky clean feeling.

I ended up finishing the product by alternating with another cleanser. I will not repurchase this product.

Really good cleanser

This is a great cleanser that sufficiently cleaned out my pores and removed oils but didn't irritate at all. Despite being touted as 'fragrance free' it does have a very light, pleasant scent. My skin felt and looked clean for hours. It can be slightly drying in the winter time so I apply a light moisturiser afterwards which gets soaked into my skin superfast.

Ideal for Sensitive Skin

If you have sensitive skin and wear little makeup, then this is an ideal cleanser. It is 100% fragrance-free, dye-free, soap-free and oil-free. It is ineffective in removing heavier make-up. The only thing that I dislike about it is when you squeeze some of the pearly-white gel-lotion into your hand and add water, it is very slippery and the dollop of gel will slide off your hand or face if you don't lather it up properly.

So far so good

I have only used this face wash a few times and found it to be quite gentle and moisturising. I usually use Nivea and most recently tried out a foaming Garnier wash but this one could be my new fav!

this product is alrite

this looks like shampoo when it comes out, it doesnt dry my face out too much which is good. i use this every morning and every night along with the olay night creme and daily moisturiser.

Olay Gentle Foaming Face Wash is fragrance free and gentle on sensitive skin. Used morning and night it cleans skin without all the harsh chemicals that some face washes may contain.

Excellent beauty buy for sensitive skin!! :-)

I'm so in love with this cleanser and unlike a lot of other reviews, I like that it isn't highly perfumed and really gentle. It foams up really well and a little goes a long way so for around $8 it's terrific value. The best thing about this product is that you can use it all over the face without worrying about the eye area as it's enriched with Aloe Vera to soothe and comfort delicate skin. Although I love organic/natural based products this really is one of my beauty essentials and is always in my cosmetic bag. I wear a mineral based makeup which seems to remove easily in the shower but I agree that you may need a seperate makeup remover first for waterproof or long wearing/heavier makeup. Try it with the Total Effects Gentle moisturiser, a godsend for us sensitive skinned ladies <3!!
