Perfect for mature skin...

Although I have an oily T-zone, my skin is of an age where I can't afford to be anything but kind to it, which means no harsh ingredients or anything that might stress it in any way. At the same time I want to remove any traces of makeup or even cleanser residue from my skin prior to applying my serums and creams.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner suits me perfectly. As gentle as water and with an almost undetectable fragrance, it removes what I may have I've missed, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and cool. With no hint of dryness or irritation, my face feels calmed, clean and cared for :-)

Gentle cleansing

I like it very much. I have combination skin. It removes oil from my t section without drying up my skin. Face feels smooth afterwards and I don't get that tight skin feel...

Best alcohol free I've tried

This is the best alcohol free cleanser I've tried. It gives me the astringency I look for in a toner as well as ensuring that any oily zones are normalised. I don't think it's the best option for me but for those that can't put alcohol on their skin it's fantastic.

Fantastic on my dry, sensitive skin

I love Neutrogena products and this toner is no exception.
My skin in on the dry side with some oil across the forehead and extremely sensitive and I find this to be one of the few toners that does not irritate my skin. It also seems to add some moisture which is a bonus while reducing the oil of my forehead.
So gentle I would recommend this to everyone.

So far so good

I've just only started using toner for the first time and this works a treat as it reduced my blemishes. Removes any make up that I've missed and love that it is gentle on my skin.

Great toner!

This toner is great! It doesn't have alcohol so its not a strong smell! Its gentle on my skin and removes excess makeup without drying your skin out. I paid quite a bit for Cliniques cobination/oily toner and it just dried out my skin and left red patches everywhere.

Doesn't make my skin so dry!

I have used this quite a lot, after I've used the Proactiv Toner which really dried out my skin! But, this toner doesn't take away the moisture from my skin.

Gentle cleanse

Wonderfully gentle, didn't get any dryness or tightness. It doesn't get rid of heavy makeup as well as other cleansers but works well for general everyday use, maybe more for lighter makeup.

Very Good

I haven't been using this toner very long, I usually don't use toners but thought I would give this one a go as it is alcohol free and Im having breakout issues. This is not a toner that strips your skin after cleansing. Instead I found it actually added moisture to my skin, however I noticed it did remove oil that had not been removed when I cleansed.

surprisingly not that great for my skin

After about six months of using Neutrogena cleansers and this toner, I've ditched it and gone back to Garnier. Whilst this toner seems okay on my skin for the first few days it then clogs the pores around my nose and chin and I end up with huge pimples in these areas and very very oily skin all over my face and neck, had a problem with a couple of the other neutrogena products so there is obviously something in them that disagrees with my skin unfortunately : (

Fresh!

This toner is very light and refreshing and removes all traces of left over makeup and cleanser. I like it as it's not drying and leaves skin with a sort of moisture shield. It's inexpensive and the smell isn't overpowering. Leave it in the fridge for a cooling effect and apply it whenever you feel like you need refreshing.

Lovley, little pick-me-up in the morning

This is a really nice, refreshing and gentle toner. I'm not actually sure how much 'toning' it does, but I don't really care because it smells gorgeous and it's a pleasure to use in the morning.

So refreshing

This is one of the better toners i have used, it has a lovely refreshing feeling to it after you have used it and better still you know it wont dry out your skin like some other toners do that contain alcohol. Because it is alcohol free you can safely use it twice a day. It has a nice refreshing smell to it one you can assosiate with a clean feeling. I also found it was good for removing those stubbon last bits of make-up that the cleanser leaves behind.

A great toner for younger skin

Due to the alcohol-free property, the toner is very gentle and doesn't dry out the skin, whilst removing the impurities that are left over after cleansing (of which there shouldn't be much if we cleanse twice as we're supposed to - first time for a superficial lifting of oils and dirt from the skin, second time for a deeper cleanse). It smelled nice, which was a plus, and would appeal to teenagers. I also found that I went through the bottle pretty quickly, which is why I prefer a spray-on toner. In addition, I found that I didn't see an overall strong effect from the toner, perhaps due to the sensitive qualities, which is why I suggest that it is better suited to younger teens or pre-teens who do not have serious skin issues and are just looking for something to keep their face fresh.

Gentle, moisture-loving toner for sensitive skin

This toner allows you to finish your cleansing routine without stripping your skin of moisture. You don't get that tight, painful feel but it still refreshes and ensures the last traces of makeup and cleanser are removed. Another excellent sensitive product from Neutrogena.

Not bad

This product is lovely and gentle and cleans away makeup and dirt/oil well. I think the fragrance is lovely. The only thing is im not sure how well it actually tones my skin, and I also seem to go thru the bottle quickly.

So so

I found this toner very gentle for the skin, which would be perfect for someone with sensitive skin. It is alcohol-free so it will not dry out the skin, removes any leftover makeup, dirt and oil which i love. Although in my experience i found it didn't do much for my skin and i found i go through the bottle pretty quick.
Another thing i didn't really like about this toner is that it contained fragrance which is really unnecessary in my opinion! Overall it is a so so product, it is cheap so it doesn't hurt to try it. =]

Moisturizing!

This toner is great for after you've cleaned or exfoliated your face, because it kills any little bacteria trapped inside your pores that would have grown into a pimple. I either spray water on my face then apply or put it on a wipe with water. And since it's alcohol free it doesn't sting or strip you skin.
