An apple a day...

Never mind minimising trips to the doctor, these days an apple a day keeps anti-ageing at bay!
But before you run off to your nearest fruit shop, hold up a minute, because we’re not talking your regular run-of-the-mill Granny Smith or Golden Delicious (you didn’t think getting rid of wrinkles would be that easy did you?).
We’re talking the tech-savvy skin care system, ‘PhytoCellTec’, which is based on apple stem cells from a rare Swiss apple tree and works to regenerate your skin, support its natural repair function, protect it from environmental damage, and reduce the signs of ageing.
And the best part is you don’t need a passport to access the benefits of this Swiss apple tree – you simply need to head to your nearest Aldi store and get your hands on the Lacura Renovage range!
The premium (in technology, not price!) skin care range comprises an Intensive Serum, Protective Day Cream, Rejuvenating Night Cream, and Protective Eye Cream – each retailing for the awesome price of $19.99. If used regularly, the Lacura Renovage skin care range is said to help increase the skin’s elasticity, and visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin soft, hydrated and younger looking – and which woman doesn’t want that?
So what are you waiting for? Head into your nearest Aldi store and get into the apple action!

Have you shopped at Aldi before? What do you love most about shopping there?

I haven’t shopped at Aldi before as there is none that is near me and I tend to go to the local Woolworths or Coles. I am tempted to try out this range, particularly the serum, as the sound of an apple scented range is too enticing!

I love Aldi, it's my number one supermarket destination. Food is def. my most expensive area so if I can save money I will and boy I have saved a ton (tonne?)! I love how it's the same quality, if not better than the major supermarkets in Aus and a lot cheaper too. Also, the chocolates are mostly made in Germany, they are devine at a steal of a price compared to bland tasting Aussie choc.

I remember seeing something on tv a while ago about how good the Lacura range is.

Imagine if we stopped using all skincare products alltogether and simply used apple juice as a cleanser! Wouldnt that be soaking up more nutrients (albiet a little too acidic), moreso than a 'rare' Swiss strain of .... 'goodness' ? Despite having not tried it, i think brands are taking advantage of exotic sounding products and places to elevate scienfitic believability of a product... Nevertheless I still do use branded products that work for me (cough cough ASAP, Ego Sunsunse and Mario Badescu!) :)

We do have an Aldi Store where I live, but I have never purchased any of their beauty brands, If they are a part of Beauty Heaven, I will have to start looking at their make-up range.

I dont mind Aldi but i find that i need to do two shops because aldi doesnt have everything i need, like specific sauces and so forth, i must agree that you save a fortune shopping at ALDI But i wish that my local Aldi which is only little, stocked more variety, would save me and alot of others two trips around town.

We do not have an aldi near us, so rarely shop there, and I dont have time to drive a fair distance between two supermarkets to get what we need, seeing Aldi doesnt stock everything. If there was a shop close by, I could imagine getting some things there, but sadly there isnt!!! Occationally when I do pass an aldi shop will go in get a few of the things I know from Europe...I love the Haribo winegummi bears, the merci chocolates and the Toffifee chocolates....yum!
Have heard a lot of good things about their skin care range too, the range has had a lot of publicity including on A current affair etc.

I've shopped at aldi for year ever since my first child was a teeny bub, and these days I only use aldi's range when it comes to serums. All other brands serums are far too pricey and aldi's skincare range gets such great reviews from experts. I just saw the new range's ad and I'll most likely pick up a couple of jars of the serum if my local aldi gets any stock of it.

I saw these products advertised somewhere the other day but I suppose I do wonder about them because of the price? But they could be fantastic little secrets from Aldi because I have never tried them and I don't usually go into Aldi because I'm a weird organised personality type and when I walk into Aldi I feel emotions of confusion - but that's maybe because I don't shop there enough and don't get their shopping style of system. I'm probably missing out on some great products!

Don't mind Aldi - some of the stuff there are pretty edible and when they have specials on technology the products are pretty good. Have picked up a few good things from there. Won't mind checking out the eye cream

I love a lot of the Aldi products, and have two Aldi stores within a 10 min drive. I will have to check next time I'm in the store which country the Lacura products are made in. I have heard they are great products though.

I LOVE Aldi! The prices are fantastic! The quality of products is FANTASTIC compared to price. My fave part are there bits and pieces that they put out each week ... last week I got a 3in1 cake stand that I LOVE! I've also scored an exercise bike there for $50 ... I've had it for 3yrs now and it's still in TOP condition ... like I said ... GREAT quality :)

I love Aldi, the prices are really great and the quality is not disappointing! Their nappies are really cheap and I find they work just as well and Huggies if not better. Haven't tried the skin care stuff but bought a few bits and pieces of make up and loved it! Their nail polish was really good too, shame they didn't have a better color range, I'd buy all of them!

I used to be a regular there when my girls were babies and the nappies were the best value around. But I think you girls have given me a new reason to shop there!
