When creams aren't enough
The Stop device arrived in a nicely presented box, complete with a 50ml preparation gel, 50ml after treatment cream, instruction booklet and video.
The device itself looks rather impressive - about 14cm tall standing on its lid (which also forms its base) clad in black and gold plastic. It is lightweight, which is appreciated given the treatment takes 15-20 minutes.
The application of the preparation gel is the first step. It has a honey-like texture, and has a pleasant, warming effect on the skin.
Following this, the device is moved over the face in circular motions on each section of the face in turn until the green light turns to orange. I found that it took quite some time for the orange light to appear, and for me, was only achieved when the device was on the highest of the 3 heat settings. The placement of the light was a little awkward - it is best to use in front of a mirror, otherwise you are having to constantly look out the corner of your eye to see when the green light turns orange.
Once this has been done, the device can be moved freely over the face. This is a more relaxing process, perhaps because there is no longer the need to watch for the orange light. The device is warming on the face, and does feel quite nice, although care is needed to ensure that it is in constant motion on the face as I found if the device was left still on the face, even momentarily, a burn could be felt.
Following this, the face is washed and the after treatment cream is applied. The cream is rich and feels like an effective moisturiser.
Immediately following the first few treatments, my face was quite red - a normal reaction, but this has lessened as I have used it more. My skin always looks particularly good the day after a treatment, so I often co-incide treatments with when I'm going out somewhere special.
I have found my skin is looking a little firmer, feeling smoother and has developed a glow. After a few months of use I am now seeing an improvement in lines, which is encouraging.

The best anti-aging device i have used! Results speak for themselves!
First of all...MAKE SURE YOU TAKE OFF THE LID lol
I used stop for the first time and was disappointed with my results...then I realised the only reason this happened was because i didn't not take of the lid!
However since using the device properly I have found my skin to be immediately firmer and plumper. It has taken years of my appearance and I am extremely excited to continue the STOP anti-aging journey... after just one month of using this innovative new product, my friends and family are continually complimenting me on the youthfulness of my skin.

WOW - it actually works!!
As a long time sceptic of all such miracle treatments, it was with some trepidation that I parted with my hard earned money for this special treat.
I am SO glad that I did.
I've been using it for just under three weeks now, and the results are far better than I expected and that I would have otherwise believed. I thought I noticed a change from the very first day, but I wondered if I was just HOPING that it had worked for the money I had spent - but when other people started to notice the change, I knew it was for real!
Learning how to use it properly and setting aside the time was a little tricky at first, but now it's just part of my routine and I make sure I find the time! It's quite a relaxing sensation and easy to do in front of the mirror, television etc.
My skin definitely looks and feels tighter, and I think it's even improved the appearance of some of the blemishes I have from my younger days in the sun.
The fine lines, crows feet and other creases have definitely reduced in size, or maybe filled out - I'm not sure - but they are definitely on the way out!
I'm very appreciative of all the information posted here and am extremely happy with my purchase. I'm really keen to try the other one in their range now.
Definitely worth trying and when I phoned, they also offered me a money back guarantee if I wasn't happy within the first few months.

Smoother, Firmer Skin- Stop Delivers!
I first saw this product whilst overseas in Europe and was estactic when it came to Australia. I ordered it and have been using it religiously 2-3 times per week, usually when i watch Masterchef or Offspring!! From the very first treatment i could immediately feel a tightening/firming sensation across my face and in 2-3 treatments fine lines were definitely becoming softer and more "faint". These initial results gave me a lot of motivation to keep going. It is nice and relaxing to use, you just massage on some preparation gel and roll the device gently over the skin in circular motions. You can feel a slight warming sensation which i actually nice. I have also really been focusing on my neck/chin to help reduce my double chin. I can actually say that i am quite amazed how i have more of a contour under my chin than before. My friends notice that my crowsfeet have definitley reduced. Something amazing i noticed is that my lipstick doesnt bleed as much as it is definitely plumping and smoothing the lines around my mouth!!! I'm so,so, SO pleased with this product because i see the results before my eyes. For the cost of a few facials or a few tubs of premium moisturiser i have salon technology at my finger tips that i can use anywhere/anytime. I found their website really great too. Gave me a lot of information. I recommend to take a few shots before you start using it then every two weeks after that. You will be stunned. I want to get the POSE device now to work on my legs and tummy for Bikini season!! Overall, I'm very happy and amazed by my results.

I think I was looking for a miracle
When I was asked if I’d be interested in trialling an anti-aging device I was beside myself with excitement; I couldn’t wait!
The day the Stop device arrived in the mail I was very impressed by the expensive looking packaging. I thought “I think this is going to be good”.
I read the instructions thoroughly as being an electrical device involving heat; I didn’t want to risk causing any damage to my skin. The instructions are quite detailed but pretty easy to follow. I also watched the instructional video; however found that it was more of an advertisement for Stop rather than being educational.
The device also comes with a thick clear preparation gel which is applied prior to using the Stop gadget. Its smell is very strong; not unpleasant but certainly a bit overpowering. The gel feels warming on the skin even on its own.
The Stop device itself is small and streamlined to fit nicely in your hand. It has three heat settings, low, medium and high. I commenced with the low setting however had a lot of trouble getting the orange indicator light to come on so then moved on to the medium setting. I had more success with this setting and found that it wasn’t too hot. I did use the hottest setting one night just to try it out but found it to be a little bit uncomfortable. I have noticed that if you are using the device in a cooler environment it is more difficult to get the orange light to come on, so now I always use it in a warm room.
I enjoy the feel of the device on my skin; it’s a very relaxing, soothing sensation, and my skin feels smooth after I have used it. There is minor redness after treatment, but I haven’t noticed any swelling, as described in the instructions. It is a rather time-consuming exercise though with each application taking around 20 minutes, several times a week. After six to eight weeks of treatment though, you are advised to drop back to using it only once a week, which will make it a lot easier.
The kit also comes with an after treatment moisturiser which definitely leaves the skin feeling very smooth and hydrated yet not at all greasy.
I haven’t really noticed any reduction in lines or wrinkles, but I will continue with use to see if over time there are any noticeable changes to my skin. Obviously the end result depends on the condition of your skin to begin with, and if your skin is in optimal condition at the commencement of treatment a major improvement may not be seen.
With the product setting you back around $400, it isn’t one that I would have purchased myself, however I am extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to trial this device and will definitely continue using it.

Stop... if you have time. Use this to turn back the clock!
I was extremely excited to try the Stop device as part of the trial team. My main concerns that I was hoping to address with Stop were some fine lines around my eyes, uneven skin tone and texture and also the general appearance of my skin, which has been a bit lacklustre due to the cooler weather and lots of artificial heating.
I was highly impressed with the presentation of the Stop kit, which comes with the device, power supply,a jar each of the preparation gel and post-treatment cream, the instruction booklet and DVD, all beautifully packaged in a hard cover box... opening it made me feel like a little girl on Christmas morning!
I found the instructions in the booklet quite easy to follow, well written in simple language and giving a step-by-step guide on how to use the device, the DVD wasn't really helpful - it mostly described the product and showed an "idealised" video of a woman using the device but without really describing how to do it. The device itself is very sleek, slimline and lightweight, fitting easily into the hand and moved around the face. My one was a shiny black plastic and when the lid is fitted it stands nicely on the shelf in the bathroom vanity.
Applying the preparation gel was quite easy, it has a very silicone-like texture and a little can be spread over the face in a thin layer, which is plenty for the purpose of using the device. After the treatment is over I found the removal of the remaining gel quite quick, it dissolves well in water and leaves no trace of a residue.
The actual treatment is where I have the least positive feedback, but not because it was unpleasant or didn't give results, it just took far too long in my opinion, and at least three times longer than the instructions suggest that it should. At the top of the device it has four poles, they are like little metal bumps, which you keep moving around your skin slowly in small circles. In the fist stage you do that in smaller areas on your face until the orange light indicator on each side of the device lights up, which tells you that your skin has reached the right temperature for the treatment to be effective. Even on the highest setting (of which there are three) I found that it took me over 15 minutes to get the orange light on doing each side of my forehead, which is how long they say it should take for the whole face. Other areas took much less time but overall the whole procedure took me well over 45 minutes, which when you're standing in front of the mirror in a cold bathroom and holding your arm up to your face level is a really long time! You also have to hold the device in a certain way so that you can see the orange light, which can be a bit tricky in certain areas of the face. The instructions suggest that you do it three times a week for the first 6 weeks. I don't know about most women but working full time I certainly have difficulty finding that amount of time to myself on one day of the week, let alone three! After using it a few times I got to learn that the slower I moved the device, the quicker the light would come on. I found that it was tricky to move it slow enough but not so slow that I would feel discomfort from the heat, kind of like a burning sensation.
I found the feeling of the second part of the treatment quite pleasant, which is where you can continue to move the device around the whole face to maintain the ideal temperature for about 10 minutes or so. It felt warm and slightly tingly which I enjoyed, but by the time I got around to it my arm was quite tired so I just wanted to get finished.
Following the treatment I didn't notice much redness or swelling at all, except a little in the more delicate areas like around my nose. It did feel a little sensitive, but nothing that didn't disappear within a few minutes of applying the post-treatment cream, which is applied after washing off the gel. It is very thick and a bit chalky but it seemed to absorb very easily into my skin and left it feeling soft and soothed without leaving a residue or clogging my skin up.
After each treatment it is important to clean the device with a damp cloth, you have to pay some attention to the poles and make sure the gel is all removed, but as it is water soluble it goes quite easily. After this I simply wipe it off with a dry paper towel and then replace the lid - there is no need to wait for it to cool down before putting it away.
I have to say that even though I was disappointed by the amount of time that it took me to do the treatment, the results are very impressive - right after the treatment my skin looked clear and plump, the texture smoothed and the pores reduced. Over the several weeks I was using it, my skin seemed to look better and more youthful each time. I don't have any static wrinkles to try to get rid of but the fine lines around my eyes couldn't really be targeted because of the area being so delicate. I must admit I only ended up using it once a week on average because of the time it took, but it seemed to work none the less. I'm quite sure that my device wasn't faulty because I noticed a couple of other people in the forum topic about this product had the same issue.
I think for what this product delivers, it is well worth the price because you can keep using it over and over again and the benefits are cumulative. I think that I would recommend this product to ladies around my age and up, which is the group for whom the device is designed.
Apart from the time issue needing to be ironed our a little further, it is an innovative product and I am keen to see the reviews for the body counterpart product - Pose, as Stop certainly seems to deliver on its promises.

Professional skin care at home
I had real reservations about this product. I'd never used serious equipment like it outside the beauty clinic and never on my own.
The instructions were a little ominous and I'm embarrassed to admit it took me a while to figure out that the cover on the bottom needed to be removed first. Watching the instructional dvd first would have helped but I was a bit excited about this trial.
The gel to use with the machine is quite thick and gluggy at first. It felt just right when the machine was applied. It seemed to hold the temperature well. The low setting has been where I've stayed mainly. The other settings felt too warm for me. I found it easiest to use around the looser skin around the mouth and jaw line. I can't imagine having this done by someone else as the comfort factor is really important and I'd be afraid of it being too hot. The moisturiser for afterwards was lovely and soft on my skin. Quite hydrating.
Even after the first week the results were noticeable. My skin was firmer, especially the areas that are less toned to begin with.
The downside is that it is a bit hard to get motivated to do this 2-3 times a week. The instructions say that after some weeks only monthly treatments are needed.

Real results!
The Stop! kit comes in a quite solid cardbox box, with a top that lifts off to reveal the electronic unit in a plastic display tray. The instructions, power adapter, pre-treatment gel and post-treatment moisturiser are arranged neatly in the box under that tray.
Neither the gel or moisturiser have a particularly noticeable smell. The gel is quite sticky and felt a little icky until I got used to it. The moisturiser is fairly non-descript but works well to reduce the minor redness and swelling that are side effect of the treatment.
Once I had used the device a few times, I found that it became quite easy to use, in spite of a quite daunting looking set of instructions.
After the first use, I could see a reduction in fine crows feet lines around the outer corners of my eyes and the deep horizontal lines in my forehead. Over the next few uses, I noticed that those continued to improve, and that my enlarged pores have become smaller and shallower, and the redness that I've lived with for decades has also reduced.
Some parts of my face are okay when I'm relaxed but turn red when do anything energetic. After a few uses of the Stop! device, those areas have gone from solidly red to spotty, with some skin remaining normal in between the broken capillaries and pores. I'm quite hopeful that with continued use, the pores will continue to improve and the redness will improve with them.
So far, the only facial lines that I haven't noticed dramatic improvement in are the vertical lines between my brows and alongside my mouth. Given the dramatic results on other flaws, I'm quite hopeful that those lines will improve with continued use.
