Pretty good!!

I bought this exfoliant after my Ultraceuticals one ran out and I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on an exfoliant again (even though I loved it!).

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, 2-3 times a week and it has worked just as well as the more expensive product I had been using! It's definitely a product I will go back to!

Surprisingly good.

I wondered what on earth a few little wax beads could do but this facial polish works a treat. Your skin feels beautiful in texture and smooth to the touch afterwards. Use it once or twice a week plus you only need to use a small amount to get very good results.

love in a bottle

so you only get to use it once a week. but it would have to be the one beauty routine i look forward to every week. even better using it on a day when you don't have to work! it smells and feels fantastic on the skin and when i take it off my skin really does feel clean refreshed and polished. my only down fall on this product is having to wait a whole week between using it !

Love it !

Great exfoliant!
I use this probably once a week and it does the job without being too rough on my skin , but you can feel it working !
Haven't had to pay for it yet, but i am sure i will re purchase.

Great for everyone!

Have previously been using St Ives exfoliants but received a free trial of the facial polishing gel. So I tried it and it was absolutely amazing.
It has a pleasant fragrance which is not too strong so that you can smell it on yourself after using it. it has a very soft texture of a thin cream and has little wax beads through it which are not too gritty to damage your face but are perfect in removing all of the dead skin cells on your face.
Don't need too much on your face and is very easy to rub into your skin and wash off with water without too much hassle.
Overall a great facial exfoliant, that smells great and feels great and and can be used on oily,dry and normal skin.

nice polish

love that this is a gental exfoilant, so great for sensitive skin, do think its a bit over priced for what it is, i could grab a better exfoliant for the same price. i do love the smell, especially when using in the shower and my skin does feel lovely and soft but i do not think i would re purchase

Best Scrub

I am in love with this scrub. Have been using for about 6 months now, leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. It's one of the few srubs i can use that doesn't leave my skin feeling either dry or sensitive. Fantastic product!

the love of my life!

i recieved a free sample of this product and fell in love! i immediately ran out to buy it and have been using it a couple of times a week ever since. the price might be a bit steep considering my budget, but it's totally worth it. after using this my face was so soft and my skin looked radiant. will definitely definitly repurchase this!

The lady at Priceline gave me some of this in a little pot to try - well i tried it last nite and i must say it is great - the beads feel really gentle and it is non stripping and leaves my skin nice and soft and smooth - very nice and definitely may purhcase soon

Polished to Perfection

I ran out of this about 5 months ago but I'm sure I will buy it again. I like the Dr LeWinn's range of products and have used quite a few of them. This exfoliant is a pretty lemon colour and feels quite grainy in texture when rubbed between your fingers. I find this to have a slight citrus scent, which is pleasant. I use this once a week, I think it would be too harsh for my maturing skin to use more than once a week - due to the very grainy consistency. I've never had a problem using it and my facial skin is always left blooming and radiant after use.

Glosscars winner for sure

I just cant get enough of this product. Its gentle and doesnt strip away too much skin or oil. its packed full of beads so you just need a tiny bit of product to get results and you can use it on the whole body if you like! theres nothing quite like the feel so super soft skin in the morning
Its suitable for all skin types so you just cant go wrong here.

Feels like you're polishing away all the bad stuff!

I love using this product because as your exfoliating it feels like your 'polishing' away all the dead skin cells and dirt/oil. Thus the name of the product. It's great to use and has really clean and refreshing results.

Great!

This product is fantastic - it's like a sugar scrub for your face. As I have acne-prone skin, I was a bit worried that this might aggrevate it and make it worse, but it doesn't. Whenever my skin is bumpy and congested, this helps smooth it all out.

Great product

Yes it is expensive but way worth it! Because it is very dense with exfoliating beads you dont need to use much at all so a little goes a long way! It feels wonderful on your face and neck and i use it post shave too.
Its nice and gentle but you can keep massaging your face if you want an extra thorough scrub-a-dub-dub.

smooth silky beads

Awesome product. I'd prefer to use this product over those harsh scrubs any day! It really made my skin feel silky smooth and removed all dead skin without causing redness. I use this in the shower about twice a week as a refreshing pick me up. It really makes applying foundation much easier due to the smoothness of my face after use.

One of the best

I received this in a Christmas pack of Dr Leewin products. I haven't used this brand for many years so I was curious to try the polishing gel. It is magic as it gently exfoliates and smoothes my sensitive skin. I leave it in the shower so I don't forget to use it.

Nice, smooth even skin!

Great product. I would use it everyday as advised by my cosmetician friend for helping to remove makeup deep in pores. I find when I don't use it, or run out and can't afford to buy a new tube I break out, and skin goes yuk on me, then I usually somehow find it on sale and start using it again and my skin turns out lovely. Was commented how nice and smooth my skin was by a beautician recently and I say all thanks to this product!

this is such a nice product. i love love love LOVE it! it helps to freshen up my face and keeps blackheads and spots at bay. smells nice and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. good value too as u can buy the larger one for the same price sometimes :)

really good at removing ground in dirt

I first used this after being in a filthy shearing shed all day and it was fabulous. The smell is devine and the scrub does not feel harsh at all. My skin felt clean and smoothed. It performed particularly well given that I was covered in quite a thick layer of dirt and grease.

Best facial exfoliant for sensitive skin

The super fine jojoba exfoliating beads in this product are delightful and feel almost sugar like upon application. After being gently massaged into my skin (I like to concentrate on my t-zone) it appears radiant and completely smooth with absolutely no irritation or redness. I used to put up with harsher exfoliants but this one smells delicious and really sloughs off any rough patches while comforting and soothing sensitive skin. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!! Oh I just love this product. My face feels smooth and refreshed after using it without drying out too much. i use it once a week and sometimes will do a quick scrub after being at the beach with sunscreen on my face. My face feels fresh and alive.

great for use after a day in the sun to clear the pores of gluggy sunscreen.

Smells So Delicious

I have only just used Dr. LeWinn's : Facial Polishing Gel for the first time in my life and I was quite surprised by the result.I love it!!. I usually use a really gritty exfoliant like St Ives facial scrub.So when I felt the polishing gel I thought "That's not going to do much " because it just felt like really fine sand in it.
I didn't use it in the shower,just at the sink in the bathroom.I splashed my face in warm water,then squeezed some polishing gel onto my hand.It didn't feel like it was doing much while I was massaging the gel into my face.It felt like rubbing fine sand,but the gel felt like it was melting into my skin.It did feel quite nice in fact.I absolutely loved the aroma,gorgeous!!
I washed off the polishing gel with warm water and pat dry my face with a towel.I will definitely use it in the shower next time,easier to rinse and get all the gel off.
I really couldn't believe how smooth and supple my face was afterward.So soft and clean.Definitely will be buying the Facial Polishing Gel again for sure.I recommend this anyone that loves a really soft,clean supple face.

Dr. Lewins Scub

I used this when my skin randomly started breaking out with pimples that just wouldnt go away and stuck around for weeks. It helped with the congestion and is quite grainy, its a very manual scrub, the exfoliation is in the beads which can be harsh but i have oily skin. I love the smell aswell, its delicious.

Fantastic skin every time

I have very sensitive combination skin and have used everything on the market over the years.
Other facial exfoliators i find quite harsh and feel they dry out my skin too much.
Dr Lewinn's Polishing gel is so gentle that it hardly feels like an exfoliator but it works wonders!!
The result is beautifully smooth, radiant skin every time.
Definetely recommended for everybody's beauty regime.
I use it once-twice a week!

Effective and gentle

The first thing I noticed is that its very runny. When I opened the cap I wasn't squeezing it but some of product just squirted out into the sink which was just a waste. The beads are very fine, and they are not as densely packed compared to some other brands but it doesn't make them any less effective.

I liked the smell, and how easy it was to work the scrub over my face, and how gentle it was. I also noticed that my face didn't get as dry after using this - maybe because of the jojoba oil?

I took one heart off because i can see myself going through the tube pretty quickly as its so runny, but I plan to repurchase this as the weather is getting colder and I like beng able to exfoliate my face without leaving the skin dry.

Gentle scrub

If you are looking for an effective gentle scrub, this is great. I have normal/dry skin and am able to use it 2 - 3 time a week if I wished, without it being too drying. I would consider rrp: $39.95 a bit expensive for my budget, but Dr. LeWinn's products are of high calibre and are known to be effective.

Great, but used up quickly.

This scrub is probably the grainiest I've ever used, but they are small grains. I found the scrub a little too harsh for regular use on my face, though it is great on congested areas like my nose and chin... and it also really clears up my back, which gets clogged at the end of winter every single year. I got a small tube as a part of the Puressence pack for 20 something skin and this made it quite inexpensive and also a great size for travel.

you can feel it working

I found this gently but effectively exfoliates the skin. It is expensive (perhaps too expensive) but it gives you a really clean feeling. The beads are really small but not too harsh.

love love love

I started using this product on the weekend after I had tried the cleanser for about a week. It left my skin feeling so smooth and clean and I felt like it was really getting a lot of my impurities out but without being harsh on my skin. I normally have a lot of issues with scrubs as I go red very easily yet am clogged so need something quite abbrasive. This was both of those - strong enough to work, yet gentle enough on my skin.

Awesome

This scrub is awesome, whilst you're using it you can actually feel the beads working at your skin and when you're finished your skin is left feeling soft and beautiful. Note to oily skin people, this works wonders however it doesn't last a long time and oil can come back during the day however still worth the buy.

my dad loves it

Ok, so maybe this is not my *personal* experience, but my dad told me that it was really good for his old acne scars.
His pores ended up looking smaller and alot less oily. Also he said his skin tone was way more even ;) I tried it too and I have to say the pineapple/tropical scent smells like heaven.
The wax beads feel better than most exfoliators with plastic beads as they're [wax] smaller, smoother and less harsh. Expensive though. Get it @ discount places if you can.

Good but pricey

I agree with the other positive reviews. This works well and is a pleasure to use but Lacura's (Aldi brand) has a Gentle Exfoliating Wash that is just as good and MUCH CHEAPER.

Polishing Gel

The beads are very small and without hard edges unlike other scrubs on the market. When massaging it on your face, you'll experience a fuzzy sensation on your skin. Unfortunately the small beads are difficult to wash off so it'll probably require 2-3 rinses for complete removal.

Facial Scrub

I love giving my face a scrub. This product has good exfoliation and is not too harsh or rough. It gets all my dead skin off and does not dry out my skin. I would recommend this.
