awesome product.

Living in queensland the sun is of constant concern. this product and its tinted partner are perfect for everyday use. The tinted one can also be worn alone with no other make up and you know your skin is being protected.

My Go-To Sunscreen

I love this product - it's my HG facial sunscreen! I tend to 'glow' quite heavily with hot humid summers in Sydney and I cannot wear makeup with sunscreen without having everything just melt off my face! The Eclipse Age Defence seems to mattify my face and my makeup doesn't sweat off when I use this. I prefer the Tinted version because the White makes me look really ghostly.

Personally, I use Eclipse as a primer and then I top up during the day using the gentle pat and dab method. It’s also really great to blend the tide marks of foundation around the jaw line!

I used this in SE Asia last Christmas and while I love the product, you MUST reapply every two hours or you lose SPF protection. I forgot to and ended up with a burnt nose!

It comes in a mini size, which is nice for the handbag, but I prefer the large dispenser because it has a mirror. Finally it’s really great that Mirenesse sells refills – which saves you a little bit of money when you run out!

As with all of Mirenesse's products, I highly recommend getting them on sale at TVSN or when Mirenesse sends a Specials email (which is everyday).

Cant live without it!

I love this product, I have found that you can wear this daily under your make-up, it never has caused any break-outs and has never caused any problems with my foundation, no clumping or causing issues with spreading of the foundation

glosscars '12

this is sooooooooooo good! i use it as my primer and sunscreen in one but only on very sunny days as i don't want to use it all up, it's too special. it fills in my fine lines and makes my makeup last without going greasy like a regular sunscreen. you only need the tiniest amount to spread over your whole face, and my foundation glides on soo smoothly on top of it and stays put all day. my makeup never sweats off when i'm wearing this underneath it. just amazing!!

Great

If you have pale skin make sure you use a tint or foundation under it as it comes out rather white (zinc I assume) and you can look very pale.

Love it love it love it.
goes on like silk and leaves your skin protected and matte yet brightening your complexion too.

Great Facial Sunscreen

I recently bought some of this product (on Special!) and I have been really impressed by its effectiveness. It isn't greasy and it doesn't sweat off, which I think is incredibly impressive (personally, anyway). The compact I bought says that it is SPF40+, and I can believe it!

Great stuff!!

Let me say that I love all the Mirenesse products! Anyway this is a great primer and is easy to apply with the applicator. I love the mirrored compact which is easy to pop into your bag or easy for travelling. I find it is great as a sunscreen and I always apply it every morning - especially in summer. No yucky residue or build up and can be worn either alone or under make up. The fact that it is an Australian range is an added bonus! keep it in your handbag

Easy suncare, excellent primer (resubmitted for glosscars)

When I was going through the list of products nominated for the best in beauty glosscars I was hoping that I'd see this one there as it is easily one of the best suncreens that I have used. For this reason, I am resubmitting my review as it really does deserve the title the best suncare product.

This really is one of my favourite skincare products that I have ever used. I love the fact that it is a sunscreen because I really don't like to go out without any sun protection. However, most sunscreaens are oily. This one is completely matte.

The moisturiser i use doesn't contain spf so I use this on top. It is so easy to use - it comes in a container like a foundation compact with a sponge and you just quickly wipe it all over your face. I don't wear foundation that often and have found that this leaves my skin complexion beautifully even with a matte soft powdery feel. So, its a great alternative to foundation. It is not at all greasy.

It wouldn't be enough sun protection for a day at the beach if you just applied it before you left; however if you brought it along and kept topping up your sun protection like you would with cream then it would be fine. It is perfect for work days where I get a lot of incidental sun exposure.

My skin has never burnt whilst wearing this sunscreen so it really does protect the skin. It also creates the perfect base for foundation. It left my skin feeling so smooth so my foundation just glided over it - it really worked just like a primer. But, as I mentioned above, this is also perfect for use even if you aren't wearing any foundation.

The only downer is that you go through it pretty quickly - I use it 5 days a week and go through one of these in about 2 months. However, a few times a year mirenesse do put this on sale so I always stock up when they do! Other than that, highly recommended - probably the best sun protection that I have used for my face.

perfect on the go sun screen

I have one in every handbag. I use it before my make up every morning and also before I go outside at lunchtime.

It hides pores, fine lines and it stops make up from sweating off.

Everyone should have it.

Absolutely addicted to it

I love this product, I use it mainly as a sunscreen. I have a very sensitive skin and after trying out so many different brands this one actually works. It leaves skin soft protecting it from the sun and is actually a primer too. Application is very easy as well with the sponge and it doesn't irritate the eyes either.
My husband is actually addicted to it and he absolutely loves it too.

Absolutely love it

I only used to use sunscreen when playing tennis, but after trying this product I apply it every day under my makeup. Keep up the great work. Love all the products I have tried so far.

More please. I LOVE it!

This is by far the best moisturiser sunscreen I have ever used. It is light, non-greasy, and a little goes a long way. It gives my skin a wonderful glow, so good that I'll quite often go without foundation when I'm having a 'good skin day' and just use this product. I have quite oily and acne prone skin and this is one of a few sunscreens that doesn't aggrevate it. I've had experience with other moisturiser sunscreens causing foundations to clump and cake when applied over the top - not this one! My only complaint is the price per volume. I'm waiting for a special offer from Mirenesse so I can stock up.

glamorous protection

I love the packaging and the included sponge is so thick and soft. It's great as a makeup base. I'm loving anything with spf in it these days as I'm so paranoid about the harmful effects of the sun on my fair skin. Although when i apply it, it makes my face white which is why I would not ware it on its own. Still I keep it in my frequently used box of face creams. Mirenesse is a great australian product and they have something for everyone.

Fabulous Product.

This is a heaven sent must have for every beauty diva collection. It is a great stand alone moisteriser with sunscreen, or a brillant primer..... Very light yet rich formula, gives my skin an extra kick. Instantly brightened my complexion and left my skin feeling like silk. I used by itself and my skin all day felt so hydrated. And then under my make-up it sat better, and lasted longer. I love moisteriser with sun protection on the formula. An absolute gem of a product...

Wow.

This is an awesome product. A SPF that you can wear around your eyes and not have your eyes watering and irritated. I have wrinkles around my eyes from the sun as I've never found a specific eye SPF cream. It goes on super easy and isn't at all greasy, it leaves the skin around my eyes silky soft. Mirenesse just blow me away with their wonderful products.

Love it!

This stuff is fabulous. I received this as a free gift when I ordered the skine clone mineral powder so I took a risk and went on holidays to Adelaide and only brought this and the mineral clone foundation with me for base make up. Despite the temperature hitting mid 30's most days I didn't get sunburnt at all on my face; it's a great primer and also has a lovely sublte fragrance. I also find my skin appears brighter after application. When it runs out I'll DEFINITELY be purchasing again :)

This is my Mirenesse hero product. I still can't believe the difference it has made to that great big crease line on my neck. I love the silky texture of my skin after applying and the feeling is still there even several hours after being out in the garden.

Soft, smooth and protected.

I love this product. I know we are meant to wear sunscreen everyday, but I have struggled in the past to find a product that didn't clog my pores, cause breakouts and smell awful. This product is an excellent primer, leaving skin really soft and matte. It just happens to have the benefit of being a great sunscreen as well.

Don't leave home without it!

This is a very well thought of product. For starters the sponge you apply the product with is black and the actual formula is a cream/white colour so it looks like the moon is covering the sun, pretty cool! The ingredients are just super for age defence hence the awesome sun protection and natural ingredients to stay youthful. I love the feel of the creamy formula and it doesn't feel oily at all. Together with Velvet Maxi Lift with Renovage Foundation, Eclipse works absolute wonders. Best of all there are no nasties in all Mirenesse products.

Lovely finish

Being a combination of primer and sunscreen, it is an ingenious product from Mirenesse. It makes me want to wear sunscreen, every single day.
I just love the way it feels on my skin. It has a light, mousse-like consistency goes so well on my face. It makes my skin feel silky, velvety soft and refined. It brightens my skin and makes it firm. It evens out my complexion and gives a powdery finish.
I love the finish so much that I need not even apply makeup. It is great when I apply makeup as well. It works fantastically as a primer. It makes the foundation glide so smoothly and evenly. It makes my makeup last longer.
It is easy to apply. It has a great sponge applicator. The packaging is great too. And oh, it has a gorgeous smell, pleasant, light and I think it smells like lotus!
Only thing to be careful about is that the protection factor differs from product to product. One of the products I got has just SPF 15 as against the claims on the website that it has SPF 40.

Beautiful Coverage and Protection

This is one of the best sun protection I have used on my skin. After my skin care regime with Mirenesse products of course, my final application is the Eclipse age defence. Gives the perfect coverage and it illuminates my skin and gives it that youthful glow. Give this product a try you won't regret it.

Eclipse Age Defence

Omg, where has this product been all my life?! Finally, sun protection that doesnt smell, isnt oily and is instantly dry ready for make up to go right on top. I love this product and i use it like no tomorrow. You can wear it by itself or you can wear it under make up. It's unisex, you can put it on your children, its just so versitile, AND it's 40 SPF. Honestly, you have to try it.

Best Sunscreen

I love this product. My skin doesnt react well to any other sunscreen and this is the best one I have ever used. It is so easily applied and leaves my skin so soft and not oily at all as with other brands!

Eclipse Age Defense

I not apply this before my make up regime daily but also apply it to the back of my hands leaving them to appear smoother and younger . Together with Mireness Hand Balm these two products definitely assist with keeping my hands supple. When I apply it before my foundation I find my make up glides on effortlessly.

Favourite Mirenesse product

I have already reviewed this product before but will do so again for the Glosscars. This really is one of my favourite skincare products that I have ever used. I love the fact that it is a suncream because I really don't like to go out without any sun protection. Hover, most suncreams are oily. This one is completely matte. It is so easy to apply - just like applying powder with a sponge - which means that it goes on really easily and it really does make my complexion look really even, shine free and beautiful. The only con with this product is that I tend to go through it quite quickly making it a bit expensiver - it would be good if it came in a larger size. However, a few times a year mirenesse do put this on sale so I always stock up when they do!
