Emu Oil

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has tried emu Oil? I stumbled across it on the net & read about its wonderful moisturising & anti-aging properties. Thinking about trying it & seeing if it is comparable to rosehip oil for the eye area.

Emu oil has many benefits for the skin. However one problem that some people may have is that it is an animal product. However, most emu oil comes form emus that were not grown just for their oil but for other resources such as their meat, feathers and even leather. It is similar to the cocept of cows being grown for meat for humans, meat and other cow parts being processed for pet food and then the fur or leather being use for something else. But in this case we also use the fat or oil. The internet has a lot of information about emu oil and it`s benefits. At the end of the day it is a personal choice.

Emu oil is an oil made from the fat of the emu. It has been used for thousands of years by the Australian aborigines for the treatment of burns, wounds, bruises, and as a pain reliever for bone, muscle, and joint disorders
