Celebrity skin crises

A-listers have skin issues too you know

Let’s face it, pimples suck. They are the absolute worst. And while we all know in our hearts and minds that there are worse things that could happen, there’s nothing that can send us into a bit of a funk more than a nasty little pimple (or annoying congestion).

But, hey, at least we don’t have to deal with our little skin crises in front of bright lights, flashing cameras, and ultimately, the world.  While some celebs have been caught out with their less-than-clear looking skin whilst out and about with make-up free faces, others have tried to hide their skin disasters under a mound of make-up. Which we all know is a massive no-no.

Well, luckily for you (and your egos), we’ve gathered some of our favourite celebrity skin disasters in one uplifting gallery.

See what our Trial Team had to say about Clearasil Daily Clear Oil-Free Daily Gel Wash

These celebs do some pretty wacky things in the name of beauty…

How do you treat pesky pimples?

I have managed to calm down any pimples, cysts or acne problems recently only through the use of medication but when a rogue one appears I find BENZAC Acne Gel just on the spot banishes it in a day. Seriously. I don't have oily skin, it's just from hormones from having my kids, I had gorgeous skin until then but it's back to good again I hope.

Pesky pimples are a reality and sometimes we can't avoid it like the celebs but keeping them in control I use a good cleanser & don't touch my face if possible.
I will add Clearasil for a deep clean

I have to say i love seeing things like this on celebs! Us humans get them too! Good to see that having fame and fortune still cant stop those pesky spots!

Interesting to see the celeb's skin up close...suddenly its not as perfect as it always appears to be. Good to see they are human too!

I use a product with salicylic acid in it. It's the most effective way to get rid on pimples on my skin.

I use my BHA gel to treat any spots. It's great because it exfoliates within the pores, is very gentle and very efficient.

I will have to say that I have seen worse!! Yes we all are human and because we have more money than god doesn't mean we are immune to breakouts.

I think I'm finally at a place where I like my skin. I don't get as much redness any more, which I am soooo happy about! And they number of breakouts I get have decreased. I still get the odd breakout here and there, probably more than I'd like, but I've learned to accept the way my skin is. (:

If I am having a bad run with breakouts I generally use Biore or Clearasil products to try and get rid of the bacteria. Good cleansing and blackhead scrubs can be good.
Sometimes stress can play a role in pimples breaking out, learning to self calm is beneficial as well, to beat the pesky skin eruptions.

I try not to touch my face during the day because it spreads germs and leads to breakouts.

well thanks to having dry skin i don't get pimples too often, thank god, but when i get those time of the month pimples i usually use a spot treatment like clean or clear or garnier.

It's good to see photos of celebs looking less than perfect for a change. It gives hope to the rest of us! :)

I used to have a lot of trouble with breakouts during my teen years but its pretty clear sailing now. Anytime I start to get a spot I use a kaolin clay exfoliator (like Alpha H) and then apply a light moisturiser and spot treatment (neutrogena) which combined seems to do wonders...

I have found that my eye cream is great for reducing any pimples. I love it and use it all over my face hehe

I guess it's important to remember that we are all human at the end of the day, and no one is perfect!

I rarely ever get pimples ... but when they do appear I make sure I cleanse properly and tend to only moisturise with really light moisturisers! I try to avoid heavy makeup too and give my skin a chance to BREEEEATHE! :)

its terrible that we pick at pimples like this. I have pimples and they are just such a burden. I would kill for clear skin but there is not much we can do with it but deal.

I would have never noticed most of these skin troubles with out someone pointing them out. And please never show me a close up of kimmy Ks skin ever again. Yuk!

I mostly use calamine lotion when I get pimples, but thankfully it doesn't happen very often. If it's a big white pimple, unfortunately I can't help myself and I have to attack it...
