Great!

Put this on my wishlist but later found i already had it, i think this product is a cheaper alternative to mac's oil control ( oil control better) as i ran out of my oil control i was left with this. I wasn't looking for something to hydrate my skin just something to mattify it which this really does, it leaves my skin feeling soft for ages..

THe only bad thing about this is the smell. once you take a sniff you think yeah that okay and then BAM! it makes you feel sick,
but to be honest i can handle it as its obviously not there one you rub it in.

i don't think i would recommend this to someone with VERY VERY VERY OILY skin as i don't think it would work that well

Mattifies everything, including other moisturisers/face products!

For someone with oily skin, I find most moisturisers too hydrating and/or make me even more shiny! This on the other hand is perfect!! I can wear it on it's own and my face is relatively matte all day (there will always be some natural oil). It makes my face feel soft and gentle...and not sticky like most moisturisers. I wear the garnier bb cream which tends to make me super shiny, however when I wear it with the Nivea mattifying gel cream underneath I am matte no matter what! Definitely a HG product for those with oily skin/use oily face products!!

nice

this product is a very nice, lightweight gel formula that moisturisers the face well. I prefer gels over creams because i feel like they are much lighter and don't feel so heavy on the skin. as for mattifying or controlling shine, i don't think this helped too much with combating any oils but it is still a decent everyday moisturiser.

wont buy this again

i have an OILY T-zone and wanted something cheap. i dont like the smell but it works kinda of. it is not very moisterising and i find that if i put it on at 7am it starts to wear off at 2 but makes my skin even oilier than if i hadnt put it on at all. i wont be buying it again but it probably is better for less oily skin

A nice, light moisturiser.

It's not a miracle worker for oily skin, but it does help slightly. It is definitely light and non-greasy, has a nice smell, and feels good on the skin. It doesn't cause me any breakouts. However, it is not that moisturizing, but this doesn't bother me.

Okay I guess ...

It smells nice, it's cheap and moisturises pretty well. But it doesn't control shine, I feel like my skin hasn't benefited from it , but it hasn't broken out or anything, I just feel like there are better out there.

It's okay but ..

Although this cream really hydrates and moisturises my skin , it didn't seem to reduce any shine. It made my skin feel incredibly soft , but not matte. But overall , I think this is a good buy.

lightweight coverage, feels good on skin.

i found this moisturiser to be lightweight and pleasant to use, didnt feel heavy on my skin which is good. My friend told me about it after i commented on how young her sister looks and she was 30, she then told me she uses nivea visage young!

Works a treat!

I'm a personal trainer, sweating it up all day long at gym. I try to wear minimal make-up obviously when working out yet i must look presentable to members/clients, hiding my mild acne. I use Mac make-up and this moistoriser completely saves the day in regards to shine control! Very light gives matte makeup the soft dewy glow, highlighting cheekbones. Love love Love!+ I stock up on tubes!

Great moisturiser

Definitely loved using this moisturizer as soon as i bought it from the shops. It has slowly decreased the shine on my face and does have that mattifying effect on your skin.
I do like the smell as well
