a more natural way to banish those wanted visitors!
Ive gone through about 3 bottles of this stuff, so I've had my fair share of experience to review this blemish stick. it stings the pimple, slight itchiness to the affected area but also soothes it afterwards. i like that it leaves no residue/marks like other pimple treatments. I'm not sure if the packaging has changed but back when i used to buy this stuff it came with a roll-on ball as a product dispenser, yes-it seems convenient but it became very unhygienic and it wasted product. not sure if it was assembled properly but i had spillages with every application. not only that, very very unhygienic.. after few applications (rolling onto the affected areas) i saw dirt/skin/dust floating inside the bottle due to the roll-on action!! as for the results this product delivered: i would say it works, worked naturally with no harsh ingredients. but because its not certified organic i personally don't know how natural and healthy it is to the skin. since the packaging lacked in hygiene factor and contributed to product wastage, i will generously take away one star.. or it deserves a perfect 5!

good product but slow action
I tried this product and i loved the tea tree smell. It's not a very cost effective one but it actually works. It didn't work very quick for my occasional breakout, i took about 2-3 days to actually start showing result. I'm not sure if this will be a household regular, i'm still continuing my journey to the perfect zit zapper that can work instantly, or at least within 30 minutes of application.. maybe I'm dreaming too much. =)

Great little zit-zapper!
I first decided to try this when Priceline at a 3 for 2 sale on Burt's Bees products earlier in the year. I had always been put off as it seemed a bit pricey but, as I have found, a little goes a long way.
It does a great job at drying out spots overnight, without drying the surrounding area. Despite it's potent smell, it doesn't irritate my skin, either; unlike benzoyl peroxide treatments, which irritate and leave my skin flaky.
I apply it to a spot and/or a group of spots by saturating the end of a cotton bud and dropping, or wiping, the product onto a spot and/or group of spots. Best applied after washing and moisturising your face at night and leaving it overnight, in my opinion. Haven't used it under make up.
Overall, a very effective spot-treatment,which I will continue to repurchase. :-)

My new favourite
Love this stuff i was surprised by how well it works, I've had acne prone skin for years now so I'm always looking for products to help me. This is a keeper for me and will definitely purchase it again. I only apply it in the mornings under my moisturiser and I've had bumps disappear within 3 days of using this treatment and the redness goes away pretty quickly. It does have a strong smell to it but it does go away after a while.

Radical Killer
Being a teenager, the cons of breakouts are unavoidable but Burt's Bees Spot Treatment has helped me to keep them nasty red dots off my face. The Anti blemish spot treatment comes in a bottle with a eyedropper. The texture itself is like liquid, thus it was quite confusing to work out how to use it properly. But, thank god for cotton tips.
The easiest way to apply this is through cotton tips that are soaked in the product. Or, equally as effective, simply cut out a small pieces of a cotton pad and drench that in liquid. Slowly and carefully, apply the drenched cotton pad on your face and leave it there overnight.
The tiny 7.5ml bottle is a concentrate that is infused with Salicylic Acid and tea tree oils which work together in shrinking and controlling those nasty painful blemishes. Like most other pimple treatments, this one does sting just a little but the results are mind blowing. I never thought that such a little bottle would have so much potential to clear up my face. Best of all, the pimple treatment is apart of the Burt's Bee's Line; that means it is 100% natural.
Natural ingredients like tea tree oils and salicylic acid work together in controlling nasty pimples. Simple apply with a cotton tip or soak up tiny pieces of cotton pad to create a overnight pimple shrinker. It's 100% natural formula helps reduce the redness and soreness, and by the second day, you barely notice a pimple. What a great product for teenagers and those who suffer from the bulging pimples; definitely Glosscars worthy!

Targeted Spot Treatment – WOW! This was definitely the most surprising product from the range. I haven’t had great experiences with spot treatments in the past, and was not expecting much from this product, but boy does this little bottle pack some punch! Two days into the trial I was blessed with a huge, red, sore blind pimple near my jawline; the perfect opportunity to put this treatment to the test! I applied before going to bed and expected to wake up and see no change, or that the blind pimple had gotten bigger. But it had completely disappeared! I couldn’t believe it; no head, no redness, no soreness. I was rapt! I have also found this treatment effective for whiteheads as it dries them up, reduces redness, and keeps them small and unnoticeable (not that I had many during this trial anyway, yay!). For those of us who are perpetual pickers, this treatment is great because it makes spots a whole lot less pick-able! I did not find it effective for the blackheads on my nose, but I’m yet to find a product that is! This treatment had that typical ‘sting’ to it if applied to any broken skin, but that is pretty much to be expected from any spot treatment. Although the treatment was effective in drying out blemishes, it did not dry out my skin at all, nor did it cause any redness, irritation, or flaking. Again, it has the same distinctive smell as the other products, but personally I like that medicinal tea tree smell, and as I sleep alone there’s no one to care if my face smells a bit astringent!
PROS: Superbly effective treatment, can be used anywhere on the body (e.g. face as well as back/shoulders/etc), it is thin and clear so it can be used during the day as well as night (hurrah! I’ve had spot treatments in the past that don’t work well under makeup and can only be used at night; this was fine to use in the morning, it just needed a few minutes to dry before applying my powder), generous sized bottle.
CONS: I found this difficult to apply at first, as it is so runny. First I tried applying some on to my finger and then to my face; this just resulted in the product ending up all over my hands and on my bathroom bench! I soon learned that the easiest way to apply was to press a cotton tip against the nozzle, upend the bottle until the cotton tip was saturated with the product, and then apply the cotton tip directly to spots.

This product has an overwhelming aniseed fragrance but once I got past that, I quite liked it. I found the easiest way to dispense it was to place a finger over the top of the bottle, then turn it upside down a couple of times. I have used it on several blemishes and found that they did not get any worse and within a couple of days had cleared. At $19.95, it is good value as the bottle will last forever!

A must have - its great!
This works really well to spot reduce blemishes. The dispenser took me a few goes to get use to. Its a very runny liquid product, so you have to be careful that you don't spill it. (wish burts bees can change the applicator) The product itself is easy to use and really does help get rid of blemishes, it dries them up.

Works Well
I have been using this product for about a month in combination with the Burt’s Bees anti-blemish cleanser and moisturiser. I find it helps on those bigger spots that come up from time to time however; it also does a great job of getting rid of smaller spots without drying out the surrounding skin. I’ve tried many spot treatments in the past and have found that they either do absolutely nothing or completely dry out and irritate my skin so I was impressed to find something that works but that is also gentle on my skin. Though I like the product itself, I’m taking 1 star off for the dropper applicator. I use a cotton tip to apply the treatment to spots and I find that it soaks up some of the product so I’m just not getting the most out of it. Although, having said that, it is nice to see that they didn’t use a roller ball applicator or similar which I find just spreads the bacteria or allows excess product to leak out.
