Harsh scrub - beware sensitive skins

I love that this scrub doesn't dry out my skin - props to neutrogena for making an acne cleanser that isn't overdrying.

BUT... my skin felt tingly and irritated after using this scrub and always broke out into a couple of little whiteheads in the next couple of days. I have an inkling it might be the menthol. Why oh why add menthol??

Did it's job.

My friend gave this to me when she left overseas, but I can't say I would pay $15 for it myself.
It does it's job, I took it on a week-long camping trip and it kept my face refreshed and pimple-free. After a few weeks of using it daily it started to dry out my skin, so I used it every 3 days or so after that. I've used the whole thing and I'm pretty happy with it but I think I will try other cleansers before I come back to it.

It just did not work

It did not prevent any breakouts

There are definitely better scrubs out there on the market

Disappointing

I really wasn't happy with the results of this product. I have suffered from acne prone skin for a while and gave this a go. When i first used it i thought it was great and my skin felt nice and clean and soft, but as i kept using it daily during the first week my skin became super flakey and irritated. I then started using it every second day so i could try and finish it but my skin became worse and i broke out really bad! The only thing i liked about this product was the fresh feeling it gave my skin, but it was definately not worth it !

One of the best acne products i have used yet

I love this stuff so much. I used to use the normal cream wash and stopped. (I get bored and want to try new things instead of sticking with what works) Then i remembered how much I loved it one day after having yet another annoying breakout (Pregnancy) but i wanted to have something that exfoliates so tried this. I absolutely love this stuff it helps keep my skin clear really well without feeling too harsh, I alternate using this and the proactiv face scrub (proactiv facescrub can leave my skin feeling really sensitive if used too much) at night time and apply Bio oil. Yes Bio oil, the tiniest amount and it calms my skin and when i wake up i have soft smooth skin and it does wonders for fading old acne marks.

Used to be my favourite - Great prod.

I love this product, they gave me a free sample from calling a number in a magazine and I was so impressed I rushed out and bought this after! Love the packaging so cute, Love the smell not overpowering smell. The beads go to work, but are not too harsh on the skin they dont feel scratchy which is awesome. The product did help my problem skin, But I have started to use organic so I dont use this otherwise I would still be a big consumer of this as i got great results and my face felt so clean and pure afterwards without being overdry. Lovely product with such a great price tag.

As perfects as...well...perfect

I love this product as it smell great and works incredibly well on young skin. It didn't aggravate my acne as the beads are so gentle. I use the product once a week on damp skin, at night. I personally think that it has minimised the darkness of me acne scars on my cheeks. I am definitely sticking to this scrub. Gotta love neutrogena.

Good but..

I like this one in the sense that the fragrance is quite pleasant, the creamy texture doesn't dry out my skin too much, and it always feels like it's working.
However, after a week of use (given most of it was at that time of the month) I believe it hasn't made that much difference to my skin. I will persevere and keep using it for another few weeks though.

My savior!

I have been using this for 4 months and it is my holy grail! It cleared up my acne within the first week and prevented any new ones from forming. However it does sting when you apply it over your face but the sensation goes away after a few uses.

Acne Stress Control Power Scrub

I used this scrub for quite a few weeks. I loved the feel of it and didn't find the beads harsh as with some scrubs. It was nice and creamy and didn't dry my skin out. However I did not see any improvement in my skin using this product - after the initial break out (from changing skin routine) I hoped my skin would calm down but if anything, it got worse and I got more pimples over the next few weeks. I did give it a good try, but it just wasn't for me.
On the other hand, my partner absolutely loves this scrub. He swears by it and it seems to be the only product that has worked for his skin. He freaked when our Woolworths took it off the shelves, but I managed to find it in Big W for him =)
The only thing I am concerned about it that it advising not to have contact with the sun after using it... He did notice some sunburn after using it initially but that seems to have gone now, maybe his skin is used to it?

One of the best

I use this scrub every day or so and it has definitely improved my skin. I enjoy the smell but some may find it too medicated. It's not too harsh and is not over drying at all. I was doubtful, but I really like to Microclear technology now.

Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub

Personally, I found that this product was suitable to use once every two days. Try to use circular strokes when you exfoliate your face as it can make your skin glow. A lot of people tend to over-exfoliate and pull/stroke the muscle in the wrong direction which will hasten the aging process. So do some research before you wash your face because there is a proper way to massage the skin on your face. If you’re making your circles in the wrong direction, your muscle will stretch over time and become loose and saggy.

It's also important to use to use sunscreen while using this product as it contains AHAs which makes the skin more susceptible to sun damage.

so refreshing

i was so excited when i heard this was in australia, the scrub is nice and has a cooling refreshing feel. it doenst feel to rough on my skin and doesnt dry it out. i only use it once a week though because most my blemishes have cleared up but its good to have for when i have occasional flare ups

im a little concerned though because it says on the tube that you should avoid sun exposure after using it...dont know what ill do in summer, might swtich to that new grapefruit scrub

Dislike.

This scrub was nice and gentle and subtly refreshing but it didn't do a thing to clear my acne. Probably better for those with combination skin or only few, that-time-of-the-month pimples.

Thumbs up!

I was fortunate enough to receive a tube of this as a gift, and as I don’t normally use ‘break out’ products I would have possibly never given it a go. I keep this in the shower and have been using it every day as a face wash. I am surprised how gentle it has been on my normally dry and sensitive skin. After I rinse off the scrub in the shower, my skin feels amazing, I can’t put my finger on it but there must be menthol or peppermint as part of the ingredients. After using the scrub my face sort of tingles and feels fresh and bright. I’ve been using this for just over six weeks and I’m impressed with how much is still left in the tube. This is my kind of product, it is affordable, easy to use, it isn’t harsh or abrasive, it leaves my skin clean and refreshed and no reactions. Thumbs up from me!

Stress

I was keen to try this and rushed out to get it when it was first released. I have developed pimples due to stress (I have a disabled child and family problems), I never had pimples when I was younger :(

It feels nice enough as a scrub but did nothing to stop the pimples coming. I have found Avene products recently and couldn't rave enough about their cleanace range if you have problem skin.

Power Clean that acne away!

The Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Clear Scrub is a soothing cream wash with little particles to help scrub and massage the skin on the face. It contains 2% salicylic acid to combat pimples and to exfoliate and break down dead skin cells for a clearer and fresher complexion. The minty green and creamy paste is cucumber/green tea scented and lathers to form a very smooth and comforting cleanser, gentle enough for use many times in a week. It does not hurt or is abrasive- it simply has a very refreshing tingle. I have used this for over 2 months now and since I to have very oily and acne-prone skin, I found, that in conjunction with Acne Stress Control Creamy cleanser, my skin is so much softer and touchable and the creaminess is great for all skin types, even my uncontrollable-in-the-summer oily skin! The creamy texture would also be perfect for thirsty skin in the winter when a soapy one is too drying. It has helped reduce redness of pimples and will continue to use this because it has worked wonders for me. Just remember that it has AHA (Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids) and that makes the skin more susceptible to sun damage, so wear a high-protection sunscreen every day after using this product! Great scrub

Have been using this product for almost a month now and I love it. Very fine scrub that isn't too harsh on the skin.

I use it every second day and haven't had any problems at all despite having quite sensitive skin. The best part is that it has actually improved my skin, it looks fresher and less irritated.

Eleminates one more stress!

Okay, so this product does what it says! As a Uni student I can get very, very stressed at times and I do tend to break out. So, when that happens I use this product. It helps in eliminating my pimples and making my skin look lovely and fresh (definatly a plus after study skin!). It smells nice- but not to over bearing and is reasonably priced.

However, I don't use this product when I'm not stressing/breaking out as I fear it will either be too harsh, or become less effective when I really need it.

this is a must have

This product is smooth, works fantastically and has a fragrance that smells a little like cucumbers and smells terrific. It really hydrates the skin, controls the oily look to your facial area, minimizes pores and is easy to use. This product made my face look clear and feel smooth. It didn't dry out my skin, and I noticed that my skin is becoming smoother each day after using this product. It doesn't make the skin feel rough or flaky either.

I have found that it minimizes red blotchy areas and bumpy areas also. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control is a product that cures acne and removes oil from your skin, if you have a greasy oily skin mixture.

Its a definite must buy!

avarage scrub

I have recently started using the power scrub, I dont have particularly blemish prone skin, however I do get hormonal breakouts at that time of the month.

I have been using the scrub 2-3 times a week for approx a month and a half now, it claims to prevent acne before it emerges, it hasn't done that for me yet and my hormal breakouts are still happeneing. as a scrub however it does a good job. the microfine beads dont scratch or irritate my skin, and the cleanser they are in is creamy and soft in texture. it has a slight scent but is not overpowering.

On my face the scrub tingles and feels almost as if it contains either tee tree or peppermint, when rinsed off the scrub leaves my skin feeling very refreshed and clean. Peppermint or tea tree dont appear to be ingredients in the scrub so there must be something else causing the tingling feeling. Unfortunatly if i have open spots (caused by my obsessive compulsive urge to pick at spots when i feel them popping up) the tingle then becomes quite a bad stinging sensation.

All up it gives a nice clean feeling on my skin but the stinging on my open spots plus the fact that it hasn't reduced my spots only make the power scrub an average product for me

Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub

Neutrogena has been coming up with effective products in the past 6 months and one of them is this product, the Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub.
Not too harsh as the micro beads gently smooth the skin leaving a polished, clean and soft finish. I have found using this product 2-3 times a week has and still does de-clog my congested pores and nasty acne spots. Not only does it work wonders for my face and neck, it is very effective for the decolletage area, back and where ever there is spots and black heads.
I used to be so skeptical of this product, especially as a teen as my skin is sensitive. I highly recommend this product to teens as well as those who have acne problems.

Incredible Super Wonder Product

The scent of this gentle but effective scrub is so addictive. I love using it just for the scent! Besides that, I find this scrub lovely and gentle yet full of highly effective ingredients that really work for the benefit and beautification of my skin. Even though I'm no teenager anymore, my skin still decides it wants to act like it's teenage skin so I find products that are gentle yet effective, like this gorgeous and affordable one, perfect to use on my skin. I love the high-tech Microclear technology used in this product because it actually works to keep my skin clearer and actually does prevent the would-be breakouts at that predictable time of the month. My skin has been looking great since I started using this and my breakouts are almost non-existent no matter how much choccy I've been eating. A product that can do that is definitely worth a 5!!

My 12 1/2 year old daughter also has her own tube of this and she says, "It works really well and makes my skin very smooth. I really like it! My skin feels nice and cool when I wash it off and it feels refreshed."

I love using this once a week but three times a week just before predictable hormonal changes or stressful activities/events has been keeping my skin in a wonderful, clear and healthy condition. There is no doubt this product is working wonders for my skin.

We both love this superior scrub at a not so superior price, so it's well within the reach of a teenage budget. I think we will be using this for a long time to come. It's a really valuable, high-quality treat for skin, no matter what the age (or gender)!

Great gentle exfoliator

This is a great exfoliator. The scrub are actually synthetically made spheres so there are perfectly round and won't scratch the skin so will gently remove the dead skin cells and buildup on your skin without being too harsh.

I love the fresh cucumber/green tea scent and after washing, my skin feels softer, and well hydrated, no tight or dryness at all.

In terms of blemish clearing, it does help skin to clear out quicker for smaller whiteheads I get sometimes on my cheeks but for the big angry ones (you know that ones I'm talking about, especially on the nose), they aren't really as effective you will need spot treatments to really treat them.

The best thing about this scrub is that is it affordable and works really well, so there is no excuse for not giving this a try if you are in the market for a blemish treating scrub.

Teen Choice Awards!

I have reviewed this product a couple of months ago, yet even though it had been a couple of months ago I still continue to use this product! After months of using this scrub, usually about once or twice a week it still continues to clean off makeup, dirt and oil off my face. My acne does continue to come back due to my teen years, but this scrub helps to reduce a lot of those red nasties + dead skin cells and keeps my skin very clear! :) This type of scrub is suitable for teenagers, it is not harsh to the skin nor does it dry out the skin. It helps to keep the pimples away and the result will be smooth, fresh skin. Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub definitely deserves the Teen Choice Awards for 2010!

Love this product

I am resubmitting this review for the Teen Choice Awards as I think this is a highly commendable product.
First of all let me declare my skin type, as what may work for me may not work for you. I have oily skin, not all that sensitive, occasional breakout, large pores around my nose. For me, I tend to steer clear of skincare products targeted at teens because they can be horrendously harsh and make the acne problem worse. To me this exactly same as the Power-Clear Wash but just with exfoliating beads, so I use this as a cleanser, day and night. I have used this for over 2 months now and it is just wonderful. The creaminess of the cleanser makes it not overly stripping for the skin and leaves you with a minty refreshed feeling afterwards. It certainly has calmed down my breakouts (no breakouts at that time of the month!) and prevented a whole lot of pimples from surfacing. I will definitely repurchase this cleanser when its runs out (which is soon!) and think it is very worthy of a beautyheaven teen choice award! Well done to Neutrogena!

effective and gentle, even on sensitive skin

I received this as a gift, and was a bit reluctant to use it at first as I have quite sensitive skin. I can honestly say that I was very pleasantly surprised with this product. The package is a great size, not too small, so I don't feel like I have to ration it out. I only need a very small amount though, to completely cover my face. It feels nice and grainy, something that I really like in a scrub, I prefer that to ones that feel too smooth, I like my scrub to feel like it's "doing something". On application, it smells nice and fresh, not too artificial, and feels nice and soothing on my skin. As I work it in, it starts to tingle (a product of the menthol in it, I think), and really makes my skin feel very clean, without feeling tight or like i've sanded half my face off. when I rinse the scrub off, it leaves my skin smooth, clean, and not overly red. I have been using the scrub twice weekly, and honestly have not had a single blemish since I started using it. It really does live up to the hype! A great product that I will continue to use for a while to come!

Clear, smooth glowing skin :)

When i first used this I wasn't sure what to expect and with sensitive skin I was worried it may be too harsh and drying. However i had nothing to worry about! I found it had about the right amount of exfoliating beads to exfoliate the skin nicely without being too harsh which is a good thing for teens as they need something gentle for their skin but not so gentle that there is no effect! After using this (even just once or twice) I found my skin had a glow to it and was much clearer. The effects increased over time and my skin also became much smoother. I like the tube it comes in as it is easy to get out the right amount, so no waste!. The only negative for this product is contains AHA which can increase sensitivity to sunburn (which may especially be a problem in teens as they tend to spend more time outdoors). This however can be overcome if you make sure you wear a moisturiser with sunscreen everyday. The price is not too bad considering you don't really need to use it every day (as its a scrub, though it could be used daily) and you don't need a large amount. I would reccomend giving it a go...since I have been using this (and the power clean wash) my skin has been very clear and problem free :)

Neutrogena acne stress control powere clear scrub

This product is perfect for teen skin. When you have those pesky breakouts it can be hard to find the right scrub that will help get rid of and prevent breakouts while not over drying the skin. I found this product to be quite gentle. I was also very suprised by the great effects after only two weeks!!! This product has a nice scent and left my skin feeling soothed and looking radiant. It is also a bargain price for such a fantastic product :)

Gentle but Effective

I had high expectations for this cleanser because of the rave reviews, but at the same time if it was bad I wasn't too fussed as I disliked the Neutrogena Wave also. Fortunately this is an amazing cleanser. Unlike a lot of cleansers that for acne prone skin and are target at teens, this isn't a stripping cleanser. (You know that weird tight feeling and the odd residue from those cleansers) It certainly has prevented and reduced my breakouts and I will definitely repurchased. One thing I find with this cleanser is that it runs out really fast...

Great =)

I really like this scrub as it is not only providing the benefits of exfoliating but also aids in clearing pimples and blackheads. I found that my skin was smoother and also clearer. I use this product once a day as the granules are not highly abrasive like other scrubs. I had originally been using St. Ives invigorating and even though I have received better results with this product I still miss the consistency and wish that there were more beads/granules in this scrub. Overall a great product

Scrubbadupa

I absolutely love this product! It is an invigorating scrub, it left my skin soft and supple, the smell is great and the texture is not as thick and sandy-like in contrary to most scrubs, i use it 1-2 a week and inbetween i use the Acne Stress Control Cream cleanser which is also a great product, my skin is normal however i do get a few pimples and this product definately does prevent it

nothing bad

I was in the super market needing a new face scrub and was going to buy the st.Ives one again and then thought not because it never did that much. so I bought this for a very good price for the size. I used it in the shower that night, put on Avene clearance K and hoped into bed. OMG! in the morning it had made my skin a lot clearer: 2 zits I had were gone with just slight red dots left and the little bumps I get well a lot of them were gone!! I have bought the cream cleanser and am hoping I can get a clear complexion sooooon!!! soooo worth it, Neutrogena has always impressed me with products that work for the best price!

Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub

This is going to sound cliche, but I honestly have to say this is the best scrub I've ever used. The frustrating process in finding a scrub that suits you involves finding the near impossible: a cream, that has soft granules, that don't scratch the skin, with just enough to actually do the job a scrub should. Well I have to say I've never been fully satisfied until this gem came along. It isn't drying and you can use it a couple of times a week without feeling guilty that you are scrubbing your skin (which other cleansers always leave red). It's hard to find one also that does the job of acne fighting ingredients, but this baby has it all without actually making your skin feel red after with all that burning ethanol. It's clearing, renewing and gentle. Gentle is a big factor that's difficult with a scrub but this one gets a five star. Thanks BH

Lovin' the Clean

I was already a fan of Neutrogena as I've never had any negative reactions with any of their products. The previous version of this product cleared my skin while also being gentle. This new version leaves the skin feeling smooth and fresh from the beads and the calming cream. Another positive is that it doesn't foam which is great for me because I feel like whenever I use foaming products my skin feels weird ... it's probably just a personal thing though. Just to be clear, I use this only once a day, at night. During the warmer months I can use this everyday and I feel that I need to with all the sweat and gunk on my face after a Summer's day. During the cooler months I use this product less often as my skin tends to gets very dry and irritated and it almost hurts to touch let alone scrub, but at least once to twice a week during Winter, The only negative I'd have to say is that it doesn't remove makeup, however regardless of which cleanser I use I always wipe my makeup off with a cleansing towelette before-hand. I use pretty high coverage makeup and that's about the only thing that will take it off. Overall, great product. I recommend it.

Neutrogena : Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub

I am very impressed with this scrub by Neutrogena. I found it to be gentle on my skin- it did not strip or irritate my skin. However it does tingle but not that burning sensation. You do not need too much to apply just a size of a 20c piece is enough. The beads helps take the dry skin away and I found my skin to be much smoother after a week. You only need to use this twice a week to get effective results.

Not a Fan

This seemed to be exactly the same as the stress-control wash only with the microbead scrubs in it. It didn't lather, the mixture didn't seem break down at all, it just sat on top of the skin. It was also really hard to rinse off. I don't normally have sensitive skin, but I found this product stung the corners of my nose. It didn't clean make up off very well either, as there was a lot of gunk still coming off when I used toner afterwards. I would probably only recommend this product to someone with very mild acne who didn't wear makeup. It would be good for people who don't like cleansers that foam up a lot. The fragrance was subtle and pleasant and the packaging was good. I probably would not buy it again.

Gentle and effective Scrub

I was very suprised at how well this scrub performed used in conjunction with the Neutrogena Deep Clean® Cream Cleanser. The power-clear scrub contains salicyclic acid to eliminate oil and prevent breakouts and it also aids in the exfoliation process. The scrub comes in an easy to use flip-top squeeze bottle to deliver the desired amount of product. I have found that a dime-sized amount is sufficent to cover the entire face area. Similiar to the Neutrogena Cream Cleanser, this scrub smells fantastic as it is infused with the soothing and fragrant ingredients of green tea and cucumber. The combination of these ingredients create a lovely sublte and extremely refreshing fragrance to energize and awaken the skin. Upon application the scrub has a creamy texture with tiny green microbeads to gently exfoliate the skin. They were not too harsh on the skin and didnt feel abrasive whatsoever. These microbeads along with the salicylic acid do a fantastic job in removing built up impurities and oil from the skin. Use after use my skin is left feeling soft, invigorated and very clean. Whilst using this scrub I never experienced any dryness or irritation, which is always a concern when trying out a new exfoliating product. I prefer and recommend using this scrub 2-3 times a week to clear the skin from impurities and gently exfoliate away dead skin cells to reveal fresh and clear skin. However, at the begining I experimented and used this scrub every day for a week and also found that it is suitable to be used daily, however for those who have very dry skin I would recommend limiting use to a couple of times a week. I think this scrub did a fantastic job in eliminating oil from my t-zone, I never experienced excess shine throughout the whole day after using this scrub. What was also fantastic was that when I used it in conjunction with the Neutrogena Deep Clean® Cream Cleanser for a few weeks, I never experienced any breakouts or new pimples, it eliminated all impurities and left me very happy with clearer skin. Another bonus was that I think it also helped minimize the amount of blackheads that I usually get by unclogging my pores. The only drawback that I can think of is that since I have combination skin, after using this scrub over the entire face area, it sometimes left my cheeks quite red after use. Of course this could be prevented by concentrating the product on the desired areas. Overall a fantastic price and a gentle exfoliating product perfect for preventing unwanted breakouts.

Trial Team Review

I suffer from daily acne everyday and I have acne-prone/combination skin (unfortunately!). I was given this Neutrogena Power-Clear Scrub alongside with the Neutrogena Power-Cream wash around early March. At the time my skin was looking horrible with acne around my jaw line, cheeks and forehead. When I first used the scrub I was quite skeptical of the fact it will help control acne – usually I would not use acne cleansers due to the fact it would dry out my skin but this scrub did not.
Using the scrub for the first time quite impressed me! It had a creamy consistency with micro beads that isn’t harsh to the skin and smelt like cucumbers. First I would wet my face and use around a pea sized of the scrub (that is enough for the entire face!) and distribute it around my face in circular motions. I would use it twice a week. My skin felt baby soft, refreshed with a hint of an after cooling sensation.
The scrub contains 2% salicylic acid and is great for acne-prone skin but I do really recommend using sunscreen whilst using the product. The downside of salicylic acid is that the skin becomes more susceptible to sensitivity of the sun by 50%.
Overall my experience, after a week or so my skin has definitely cleared up!

Stress Less

I used this at the same time as the Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash. In the first week I was actually quite alarmed when I suddenly found my skin breaking out all over. I decided that it was because I suddenly changed my skin care routine. The formula does use active ingredients so I thought it best to try one at a time. I combined this with the Neutrogena Deep Clean® Cream Cleanser instead, which I had already been using before this. I was actually quite surprised by the results. My break outs seemed to ease instantly. I still had the occasional break out in those few weeks, but I really liked the balance and the feel of my skin after I used this. The exfoliating microbeads were very gentle on my skin, however the formulae did dehydrate my skin, so I had to moisturize everytime I used. Overall, my skin did look healthier. It didn’t look dull or flake. Considering during the few weeks I was trialing this, I was extremely stressed (which causes me to break out), I was quite pleased and easily included this as part of my daily skin care routine.

smooth skin

This has a good tube as it is easy to get out the right amount. Sometimes i find the beads are a bit rough at first but overall there isn't really that many and they are not too harsh, some people may say it is not exfoliating enough, but it is for use on your face. I have been using it in conjuction with the power-cream wash and overall i find my skin is clear and has a sort of glow. After using the scrub my skin feels smoother and looks clearer. The only negative (which is the same as with the cream wash) is it contains AHA which can increase sensitivity to sunburn, but as long as you make sure you wear a moisturiser with sunscreen it's not a major problem. The price is not too bad considering you don't really need to use it every day and you don't need a large amount. I would reccomend giving it a go.

Gentle scrub for irritated breakout prone skin

This product is perfect for me. When I breakout my sensitive skin is red and painfully irritated so many products irritate my skin. It's a good product but I'm set in my ways and rather a scrub that feels like it's actually exfoliating the entire surface of my skin. I feel like the microbeads miss so much. I am still using the product to keep my skin clean when it is too sensitive for my daily product. The smell was great and it's very affordable. It's a great product for teens to start out on and won't hurt mums pocket!

Great exfoliator!

After using the exfoliator about twice a week for a few weeks now, my skin feels so much clearer and cleaner. I've had less breakouts, and my skin isn't as dry (other exfoliators I've used in the past used to leave my skin feeling a bit dehydrated). I also love that the microbeads aren't harsh on the skin.

Neutrogena acne contol power-clear scrub :)

I was lucky enough to trial this product and I loved it!!! I usually only exfoliate 2 times a week but I found this product was so gentle that I could exfoliate more frequently without over drying my skin. I was quite suprised by how gentle a scrub could be while still having great effects on my skin. I noticed instant results as whenever I used this my skin was a lot more radiant :) It smells good and left my skin feeling clean and soothed not something I can say for most other scrubs I have used . The best part about using this product is my skin after 2 weeks of using this I hardly had any breakouts!!! :)

A gentle, soothing scrub for smooth and soft skin!

I do have rather sensitive skin, so I am always hesisitant to try all scrubs. This scrub is really great for people with sensitivity like me; it is non-abrasivev as the beads are nice and soft, the cream consitency is gentle and the green tea and cucmber extracts make it soothing and very fresh-smelling. I could see after every "scrub" (more of a rubbing wash, really) that I had smoother and more radiant skin. My breakouts were definetely healing due to the 3% salicylic aicd content, and I am happy to say that I will be re-purchasing this in the future. The only minus is that some people prefer a more abrasive or "scubby" scrub with more granules; this product seemed to have a small number of beads. However, it is a very nice product which I will continue to use!

Acne Stress Control Power- clear Scrub

This little treasure was suprisingly good for everyday use, which i didn't really think was suitable as an acne combatting scrub all in one. I enjoyed the exfoliating beads and found them to be gentle. It left my skin smelling good, tingly and most importantly comfortable and not red as you usually egt with scrubs, especially as an every day scrub! I was suprised by the creamy foam which ensured my skin wasn't too dry after use. It didn't remove much make-up and shouldn;t be used near the eyes so i recommend just a cold cream or cream/oil make-up remover to ensure make up is removed but skin is still not stripped too much because this can be dryuing with makeup remover used also.

Neutrogena Power Clear Scrub

This scrub is a lot gentler than acne targeting scrubs I've used in the past, it exfoliated my skin to reveal fresh, brighter looking skin & the rounded beads were more gentle than facial scrubs I've used in the past; I also found the green tea extract to be soothing. However, I still found it a little strong for my sensitive skin, I would recommend that others with sensitive skin use this product only weekly instead of a couple of times a week as the product info recommends.

scub-a-dub-dub =)

I was looking for a new scrub and this caught my ear with the 'Acne Stress control'. I was breaking out pretty bad and this smoothed down any flacky skin and reduced the appearance of pimples as well as giving a smooth surface each morning. But i do wish there were more beads.

Nice scrub, not drying.

I have been using this product in conjunction with the same face wash and have found that my skin has been in much better condition than in the past. I love that this scrub is not harsh or dying on my skin however I would like if there was a bit more scrub in the solution. Overall my skin looked better and any imperfections healed faster while using this product and at the price I will be buying this again!
