An effective toner.

This toner is, firstly, STRONG. It stings your eyes if you use it in the eye area, but doesn't sting the skin unless there is some broken skin somewhere. There is also quite a strong (but not really a bad) smell associated.

It's an affordable product and a bottle goes a long way, lasting me several months with daily use.

I find it really does help control my skin in terms of blemishes or breakouts, but that may just be the power of suggestion.

Regardless, I like the fact that my skin does feel clean after I use this. It doesn't really dry out my skin too much, but I do like to use moisturiser afterward. I find 'moisturising toners' make my skin look and feel all oily but this plus a moisturiser work well together.

Strong but fairly effective

This toner is definitely strong; especially in smell. The product has an intense alcohol-y smell. If I open my mouth whilst applying, I can actually taste it and it is not pleasant! But in saying that, this is the first toner I've used (I've tried out maybe 3 or 4 other department store brands in the past) that has actually made a noticeable difference to my skin.

I find that this product minimises the size of my pimples, helps breakouts to clear up faster, reduces the severity of my breakouts and also controls oiliness. Despite the strength of the toner, it doesn't dry out or irritate my (non-sensitive) skin at all.

If you can cope with the strong smell, I would definitely recommend this to people with oily skin. Best toner I have used so far :)

strong toner.

i bought this toner as it was on special, not really knowing what to expect.
The smell is soo strong it made my eyes tear up a bit.
I dont have sensitive skin but it even made my skin a bit stingy but i could handle it. I guess you can feel this product working and makes your skin feel tighter.
Wouldn't recommend this product for sensitive skin at all..
Picks up alot of stuff that is left on face after cleansing.
Would probably re purchase this again after using a less harsh toner for a couple of months =)

Clears your skin up

Pros:
It actually does work in preventing major breakouts by clearing out the pores

Cons:
It smells very chemical-like for those with a sensitive olfactory senses

The bottle is opaque so you can't see the liquid inside or how much you have left

did nothing for me

I was very disappointed with this product!
I did not enjoy the smell, and it seemed far too harsh for my skin, despite my bad acne, that it actually hurt to put it on. My skin felt tight afterwards yet did not clear any blemishes at all. Whiel it did remove left over traces of makeup, the same could be achieved with good old witch hazel!

Not much of an improvement

It feels lovely when you put it on your skin, but it just didn't deliver what it promised. Had very little effect on my pimples.

alright

i liked the cooling sensation immediately after i used it, but i didn't like the sticky feeling it left on my skin. also i didn't notice any difference in my skin.

Very helpful

I found this very helpful in keeping my acne clear, i don't really think it helps a whole lot in helping remove the pimples, but it does help prevent future breakouts especially on my back, shoulders and chest. The smell is not great, kind of chemically not very pleasant and if not used in conjunction with a good moisturizer it will definetly dry out this skin!
I don't know if I will be re-purchasing but I might if I can not find another I like! So overall worth the purchase!

Skin feels smoother:)

Ive tried many many Garnier products and this one here would definately have to be one of my top 3 favourites:)
I used it daily as my skin is very oily on the t-zones.This toner really feels like it is working as soon as you apply it and skin feels much more refreshed and smoother to the touch.I only use it on my cheeks occassionally as they tend to get too dry from this product.I will definately buy again:)
