Soothes pimples in minutes!

This product is perfect for those people who tend to 'play' with their breakouts. I, unfortunately am one of those people, because I don't get pimples very often, but I freak out and make a big fuss over them when I do get the odd pimple here or there.

This product is intended to help pimples which have already appeared (not for preventing them).

I find especially with blind pimples that they are painful an hot. I only have to place a small drop over the affected area and within minutes the pimple has cooled down and I completely forget about it and stop having the urge to touch them and make them worse.

I don't use this very often anymore, as my daily Dermalogica skin routine has stopped pimples with the exception of one or two every few months - perfect small size to fit in my bag and take with me everywhere so I can treat pimples as they occur and prevent them from getting worse.

My only worry is the packaging is glass (I have the old dropper version) and that one day I might break it.

This product is great for me as my dermatologist (who I was seeing for a separate skin concern) told me he couldn't help me with my pimples because I have an anxious personality and couldn't help me if I kept touching and aggravating my pimples further.

Definitely not for me...

I got a sample of this and thought I'd try it out on a few problem spots. I didn't like the formula - quite thick and gluggy and not a good match for my skin. I had to put my regular concealer over it to even it out.

But the worst thing about it is that I broke out in a nasty rash. Raised red bumps with little whiteheads...looked worse than the initial pimple! Very odd asI don't have sensitive skin at al and I've never had an allergic reaction to a product before. And I've used Dermalogica for years.

After a week the rash is still clearing so I'll be binning the rest of the sample!

Unhappy with this investment

For the price, I really did expect more from this product. Unfortunately it did nothing for my blemishes, and after repeated use the formula dried out and became very gluggy. The colour was also much too dark for my skintone, rendering it useless as a concealer. I was incredibly disappointed in the performance of this product.

Award Winning!!

I was so excited to see that the Concealing Spot Treatment won a Glosscar Best in Beauty award!! So well deserved!
This product does exactly as promised: conceals and treats your spots. Literally one application and my spots lose their angry red base and if i apply it in time, no juicy head appears!!

ACTUALLY WORKS!

best way to apply this product is to place a drop of the treatment on a finger and then apply to the spot and gently blend.. this way the coverage is even and natural looking!

THIS IS A MUST FOR THOSE OF US WHO SUFFER FROM PIMPLES!

This stuff is amazing!! I am in my mid 20's and still suffer from breakouts! This spot treatment is not also great for your pimples, but is also a concealer (which you dont often find!). The new formula is a lot thicker so gives a really great coverage! I like to use this at night to clear my breakouts up overnight.

A great surprise and investment :)

I had no idea what to expect from this treatment, but was pleasently surprised to discover this is one treatment that does exactly as the bottle says. Out of desperation I ordered this spot treatment even though I had a collection of spot treatments that aggravated my skin. My skin was having one of its changing of the season/stress crazies and nothing seemed to be working for a prolonged period until this little miracle arrived in the mail. I put it on overnight and woke up with no sign of the breakout, not even redness or peeling. Instantly my skin was calmed and unclogged.

The texture took some getting used to. I wasn't overly concerned with the concealing feature as my foundation does the job, but found that it did even my skin tone. The liquid consistency of the product actually meant I only used as much as I needed and made the treatment really easy to blend. Most treatments are in gel form and leave a sticky layer that is difficult to blend on specific areas. This product blended and dried right away to leave a smooth matte finish. Even under makeup.

It's great to know that I can use this product day and night without worrying about the flaking that usually comes with treatment that lasts several days on my skin. Treatments usually give me itching and can't be worn under makeup. At a great price this spot treatment does everything I need and will last for ages.

Treats good!

The coverage isn't that heavy so it didn't really conceal my acne but it did treat my acne! It also made my skin look a bit unnatural. Overall I give 4 out of 5.

EASY TO APPLY. A THIN APPLICATION ON THE SPOT, LEAVE TO DRY AND BLEND. WAS EVEN GOOD ON ITS OWN IF BLENDED. CALMED INFLAMED/RED SPOTS IINSTANTLY AND REDUCED IN A FEW DAYS.

Treat & Conceal

I've had this product at home for a while now and haven't used it until recently as I thought this wouldn't be suited to my skin type. In the last few months I've started suffer a few minor breakouts around the chin and forehead and would try and let it clear up on it's own which would take about a week or so. I'm getting a breakout about once a month which is possibly hormonal related and for a couple of months now I've used this on a breakout. I'd dab a little of this magical stuff on it and within a couple of days the pimple is gone. This is treatment concealer which is fantastic. When applied it looks like a normal cosmetic concealer but the beauty with this is it is treating the problem as well as disguising it. Only the tiniest amount is needed and this little bottle in the easy to apply dropper will last me ages. Highly recommend!!
