Teen Choice Nominee

Pelactiv would be brilliant for anyone with sensitive skin as all products are non-comedogenic, non-allergenic and free from artificial colours and fragrances. Pelactiv is also Australian made and owned which is another great reason to give this brilliant brand a try.

While this product is actually a serum during the warmer months I've used it as my regular moisturier day and night and haven't needed to use anything else. Pelactiv suggests using it twice a day until your skin rebalances then reducing to once a day after that although that may not be necessary as I didn't notice any negative effects from constantly using it twice a day except for the tube getting lighter a bit too quickly. I haven't been using it as much during the cooler weather as my skin gets less oily but for someone with teenage skin that's constantly an oil slick I really recommend trying this brilliant serum.

The first thing I noticed about this product was the divine smell, it contains Lemon Fruit Extract and as strange as it sounds I could sniff this product all day. Hmmm that does sound really strange but you have to smell this serum to understand. I'm a big believer in the power of scents and I find the smell of this serum leaves me feeling fresh, invigorated and happy.

I have combination skin which can get a bit greasy but I also have dry patches and this product has been sensational, it leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh yet at the same time it feels dry, but in a good way. I normally like to use a cream or slightly heavy lotion because I prefer the way they leave my skin feeling but this product has changed my mind. I can go all day without getting obviously oily and yet my face never feels tight or dry. I have recommended this serum to friends with oily and combination skin and I'm sure they won't be dissapointed.

Pelactiv Oil-Free Balancing Serum can also be used as a spot treatment as the Native Kupata Extract and Lemon Fruit Extract have antibacterial qualities plus it contains glycolic, citric and salycilic acids. It also works great as a base under makeup as there is no greasiness or excess moisture to cause slipping foundation.

While my spots haven't completely cleared up my skin is in great condition and hopefully with a little more use my dreaded spots may be brought to heal.

Pelactiv Hydration and Shine Control

I have a Pelactiv travel kit with a bonus tube of this and have been using it for the past 2 weeks.

It's light formulation means that it applies very easily and is quickly absorbed by my skin with no sticky residue, and definitely does not feel heavy or rich on my face.

I find that it really calms my skin down and redness is slightly reduced within couple of minutes of having this on.

It provides a good amount of hydration to my dry on the outside, oily on the inside skin. Another thing I noticed is that I seem to grease up less during the day when I use the serum. It appears to be balancing out my skin and I don't seem produce as much oil, which is a fantastic . I will continue to use this to help with keeping my skin hydrated and for shine control.

I would recommend this for those who have oily-combination skin like myself.

Sensational smelling serum

I have been using this lovely serum along with the Gentle Foaming Cleanser and Essential Clarifying Toner thanks to BH and being part of the Spotty Dotty trial team. My skin may not have cleared up in the three weeks in which I've been using Pelactiv but it is in great condition and I'll definitely continue using these products. Luxurious Serum

Out of the 3 products I trialled in the Pelactiv range, this is my fave smelling product, a lush lemony scent-yummy!!
The tube is 30ml in size, but I can see it lasting a long time, as little product is needed on the face and neck.
Upon application, my skin greedily drank in this serum, leaving nothing but silky smooth skin, but hydrated enough to feel no need to use another moisturiser as an added step to the routine. I must say I can not stop touching my face!!
This serum gives the perfect finish for the summer months, no oil slicks for my acne-prone skin.
My problem skin hasn't totally cleared up, but I've only tried the Pelactiv products for 2 weeks. In that time, however, my skin is not looking as dull as before, it actually looks brighter and radiant.
I am so impressed with the Pelactiv products, they certainly deliver, plus being all natural and an Australian brand, I am definately going to recommend this brand to family and friends.
