Wonderful

It's not often I rave about a product to my friends but I do about this product...

My skin feels incredible after using this (especially paired with the Turnaround serum) and I like the way it's a mask but also a killer exfoliant.

Unlike others, the "glitter" doesn't bother me and it's not even glitter, more like a luminous shimmer.

One gripe is how expensive it is (double the US$ price!) and for that reason I wouldn't use it the recommended 2-3 times per week. Still cheaper than microdermabrasian I guess and no downtime or redness.

Highly recommended.

Brilliant product, one of the best

This is an unusual, but brilliant mask.

It is applied as a thin layer, and you don't need to use much product. Immediately you can feel it start to take effect. It can take a bit of time to remove, so don't hurry the process, but it's more than worth the effort - after using this, my skin feels so very soft & looks healthy & radiant all over, including my sensitive tzone area. I love it - can't recommend it enough

Turnaround Instant Facial really is like an instant facial in 5 minutes, which is great for when you are pressed for time. It contains some glittery bits, which can be a little hard to rinse off, but I can't hold this against the product, as it gives me such great results!
It gives the skin a really thorough polish, leaving behind softer and smoother skin and gives me a "glow". The other great thing about it is when Clinique have their gift with purchase offer, this product is enough to qualify for the gift, as you usually need to spend over $60, meaning you also get the chance to try a nice little selection of Clinique's other products too! This is a staple in my bathroom.

Best in Beauty 2012

Clinique's Instant Turnaround Facial is one of my all-time favourite face care products that leaves my face smooth, soft and supple.

This product is an exfoliating mask that you apply to your face for five minutes, so it can chemically exfoliate, before gentling working over your skin so that the lovely little exfoliating beads can do their thing and manually exfoliate. You can use as little or as much pressure as needed to clear pores and remove dead skin cells. I'll admit to being an over-scrubber so I am a little red after use but if I was more gentle then that wouldn't be an issue, I just can't help it if I'm using a manual exfoliant, I must SCRUB!!!

This product is oil free which is great for my combination skin plus there is no noticeable scent which anyone who has read any of my reviews will know is very important to me when choosing products, I'm so sensitive to scents that sometimes I may find a product that works fantastically but I can't use it because the smell gives me a headache or even worse, a migraine. I should also add that it's a pale blue, kind of like a lighter version of the tube colour which I find rather interesting, atleast you can see where you've applied it.

While not the cheapest exfoliant on the market, $68 for 75ml, a little really does go a long way. I have spent plenty of money on cheaper products only to find that the exfoliating beads are way too large and sometimes quite sharp so they really scratch my skin or the complete opposite where I can't even tell there's an exfoliant in there somewhere, either way they just end up gathering dust in my bathroom reminding me how much money I've wasted.

The only negative things I have to say about this product are that it comes in a screw-top tube, I really wish these companies would realise that flip-top is sooooo much easier in the bathroom, and that for some strange reason it contains tiny, little, glitter particles which can take a bit of rinsing off. Maybe that's not a bad thing as you know once the glitter is gone then so is all of the product...... maybe..... It really has me baffled why they've added the glitter and as annoyingas it is it's still not bad enough to take away a star from my rating. I just have to remember not to use it first thing in the morning unless I've got plenty of time to get rid of the glitter, I like to shine and not sparkle through the day.

If you're looking for a product that's both a chemical and manual exfoliant yet is gentle and easy to use then Turnaround Instant Facial is definitely for you.

Best in Beauty 2012

I was introduced to Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial thanks to a Beauty Heaven trial. I am so appreciative, as it remains one of my favourite facial masks.
This mask comes in a 50 ml tube that is easy to manage and extract the product from, which is almost the consistency of a paste, with obvious exfoliating granules to the touch. It was easy to apply a thin layer of product to the face.
There is a slight smell, that is quite pleasant, though I had to put the tube close to my nose to notice the scent. I also noticed a slight cooling sensation after application.
I love how this mask combines both physical and chemical exfoliation. It's a mask and an exfoliator in one. Five minutes is all you need for a full treatment!!
The mask contains small exfoliating beads, that are massaged over the skin, as the mask is being rinsed off, along with the dead skincells. It does take some time to wash off, but this only adds to the benefits of exfoliating the skin.
I was skeptical that using a product for 5 minutes would deliver results. But boy was I wrong!! My skin felt so smooth and looked radiant. The ugly bumps of problem skin were dramatically reduced, leaving bright, velvety soft skin. All this after just one application and without being as harsh as micro-dermabrasion. So my face clearly showed the results of exfoliation without the redness or irritation that can occur with many exfoliators.
During the trial, I decided to test this mask. I normally mask once a week, but tried twice. The result was remarkable, it definately is gentle enough to use more than once a week, there was no sign of irritation, and I realised just how much my skin benefited from a couple of good scrubs a week. Due to my age, my skin does not rid itself of dead skincells as often as it used to, so this product definately hurries the process along, revealing fresher more glowing skin. Another test was leaving the mask on for longer than the recommended time. I chose to leave it on for half an hour, yes, I was living dangerously!! After scrubbing the mask off, I was surprised to see that there was not even any redness or soreness, no irritation at all. In fact, this is how long I'm going to continue to keep the mask on in future, as the results were even more pronounced. It really is amazing, and convenient, as I know that if I don't have the luxury of extra time, I will still benefit from leaving it on for the 5 minutes that is recommended.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is because of the glitter in this product, it's not necessary, as the skin produces its own glow, without the need for glitter. To overcome this minor"problem" this product can be simply applied at night, and a shower in the morning will remove any unwanted glitter. Other than this small inconvenience, I am a very happy customer, and would definately recommend this product to family and friends.

Glosscars BIB 2012 :)

I love this stuff! After using it my skin looks and feels so much younger. It just feels so smooth, like a baby's bottom! My skin looks like it's had an old layer completely removed and a new layer has emerged from underneath. I only use it once a week though as I feel that the recommended usage of 2-3 times a week is a bit too harsh for my skin and I also do not want to waste it.

The only mask I ever use now

I must say I was a little reluctant to pay to money but WOW it is worth it. I found I didn't need to apply much of the mask so it will go along way which is how i justified the price. I apply a small amount in the shower and just let it sit for 5 mins then when I'm about to wash it off I rub it in soft small circular motions and viola! It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I wouldn't rub the mask hard as it is quite a rough scrub and could easily make your skin sore. On the bacl of the paclaging it reccomends to use it 2-3 times a week, but i would only use once a week to once a fortnight. Even tho I'm 20 I found this product to be very beneficial just for the exfoliating properties as I do suffer from a bit of dry skin.

fantastic but exxy product!

I thought the turnaround instant facial was fantastic! i have quite sensative skin and i found that it was cleansing without being too harsh. and the best thing was, i just left it on while i washed my hair and i didn't have to scrub it in

brilliant!!!

i was a bit reluctant to pick up this product because at $68, was too pricy for a student like me and i'm only 21 and didn't think it would help my still youthful skin much. but i am soooo glad i did. i loved it immediately! i have never been for a professional facial so i can't compare the two but definitely much better than all of the other masques i've tried. leaves a little glittery shine which i didn't really like because i was going to uni after and didn't want to look so dolled up but the shine went away pretty quick.

Oh wow. This really worked.

My daughter who is a Clinique fan gave me a sample tube to use. While the product did tingle a bit on my mature skin the results were well worth it.my skin glowed and was more receptive to moisture treatments.i loved the fresh look it gave my skin.

Smooth Bright Skin

This is a great mask if you have uneven skin tone, or just looking for a pick me up. The tubemakes it very easy to squeeze product out and is more hygenic in comparison to the old container version. The product is very goopy and has a thick consistency. On application my skin tingled for a while, it's not uncomfortable though. Leave on for 5 minutes only, it doesn't need any lomger to activate and work it's magic.
It does take a while to clean off, I use a face washer to help get the product off.
After removal it leaves my skin a bit red but it settles quickly to reveal smooth, soft skin that is instantly brighter and clear and also feels tighter.
I have oily/acne prone skin and even on skin that is used to glycolic I find this quite strong and only use once every fortnight or less. I wouldn't recommend for use on dry skin types

Tried hard to like this product

Left my skin completely red and inflamed. Gave the product many chances. I tried using it various ways. twice a week, then once a week, then once every fortnight - each time it broke me out and gave me inflamed skin. I really liked the smooth texture though. Too bad it's a no go as it worsened my skin condition instead of making it better

Quick and easy to use

This is the quickest and easiest mask to use. You just put it on and leave it for five minutes and its done. Afterwards my skin feels really smooth and clean, it is really quick and easy to apply, and it washes off really easily.
I didn't notice any sparkle left on my skin after washing it off like some people have said.

Fresh new skin...

I've given this product 4 hearts because it delivers what it says - an instant facial. I've been applying it two mornings a week prior to showering, and as far as microdermabrasion is concerned, it's the best I've tried so far. Surprisingly non-irritating, it sloughs off all the dead skins cells super quick, and my skin is smooth and soft afterwards. Can't say I've noticed any brightening effect on my skin, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a heavy duty scrub, without being too harsh. I must say I was expecting it to act like a mask as well, but after reading the pack and accompanying notes, that was an unfair assumption - it's an exfoliator, and a great one, but not a substitute for a regular face mask. I think this product is in a category all its own...

Works well

I use skin docotors microdermabrasion usually but tried this for a couple of weeks. while i dont think it could replace my skin doctors as it wasnt quite as effective it still did a very good job. Leaves skin smooth and fresh feeling. i did get a slight breakout when using it but nothing too drastic

squeaky clean skin

This exfoliating mask comes in an easily squeezable blue tube that I would apply every third day to freshly cleansed skin prior to showering. It has a creamy white consistency containing tiny little exfoliating granules that you apply onto your face (and neck if desired) and leave on for just five minutes in which time it will dry and tighten over your skin. You only need a small amount to cover your whole face, and I find it quite enjoyable massaging the granules over my skin when washing it off, but it does contain a light glitter in it so I always rinse it off in the shower to get rid of that glitter as thoroughly as possible. After washing off, my skin literally feels so squeaky clean and looks fresher and brighter, and my facial pigmentation and discolouration are a lot less visible.
My skin is sensitive so I was a bit worried to try this mask at first but am glad that I did as it hasn’t caused any irritation at all. I have combination skin, so it does tend to get rather dry and cracked in areas like under my chin and jaw (especially in winter), but still oily around my t-zone. After using this mask I have found that I have less scaly cracked skin in the dry areas and the pores on my cheeks and nose are less clogged which in turn has led to my skin having less breakouts and blackheads.
I am very pale to start with so I would find that I would tend to look a bit too ‘washed out’ and even paler immediately after use (perhaps because of the glitter?), so although I will definitely continue to use this mask, it is something that I’ve cut down to using just once a week or so instead, even though I would prefer to use it more regularly.

This is my new holy grail product...

I can't even tell you how much I love this product. I was sent it to trial by Beauty Heaven, and was over the moon as I love clinique products and used to use the original turnaorund cream reigiously for years. The best thing about it is it only takes 5 minutes - I cleanse and apply every second night and by the time I have brushed and flossed, it's done! The product is a creamy white consistency with scrub like particles - when it dries it whitens and hardens a little, then you apply water and massage the grainy bits in good and proper to get all the dead skin cells and gunk out of your pores. My face always feels seriously smooth and looks glowing afterwards, and foundation and powder apply so smoothly. I seriously think this is the only mask I will ever use again. I'm in love.

Clinique Turnaround

Love this!!
Simple & easy to use,quick & satisfying result. Love the colour of the tube.Easy to apply & love the fact that it is a 2 in 1 treatment.Great for travel & for those of us who like to look after our skin but dont always have the time. I found the results to be very good,my skin alwys felt smooth & looked fresher after use.I would definately buy this product and recommend it to other people.

Instant results smooth skin

I love this product!! It has instant results making my skin look super smooth even after just one use. I am not sure about how good any long term results would be but I don't mind because it feels so nice. After using this product my skin looks more refined. The product is a pretty blue colour and has a lot more sparkle in it that the old version, I found that it was quite hard to get rid of the sparkle but I don't mind. It is very easy to use, apply to a cleansed face leave on and then use like a scrub as you take it off. The only bad point about this mask is that it is quit expensive but a great splurge item.

Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial

I have heard rave reviews about Turnaround Instant Facial and I was recommended to try it a few years ago when I frequented the Clinique counter. The product comes in a lovely blue tube that seems to brighten my day just by looking at it! The product inside is a white formula that holds together and contains exfoliant.
Turnaround Instant Facial claims to be a microdermabrasion in a tube - and by golly gosh it sure is! In fact, my skin was left feeling slight irritated and looking red after the first go. I let me skin have a rest and tried again a week later, to help my skin build resistance to the product. I applied gentler circular motions and avoided my cheeks and eyes as these are my most irritated area (instructions advise to avoid the eyes with this product regardless). My skin did feel hot both inside and out, and visibly slightly red so ignore the 'For All Skin Types' claim and take a sample home first. Overall it left my skin feeling soft and much smoother than it has been lately and I love the easy squeeze-tube and its brighten-up-your day blue packaging.

Instant smoothness and refinement

My first thoughts of this product were how fantastic to combine exfoliation with a mask! What a time saver! I couldn't wait to trial it, so I used it 3 times a week for 2 weeks as part of Trial Team.

When I first squeezed the product out, I could smell Menthol, which you do in a lot of Clinique products. I find this smell appealing and was instantly keen to put it on my face. I applied a thin layer all over and found it slightly gritty, but it went on well and I didn't have to use too much. I left it for the desired 5 minutes, then applied a bit of water, and exfoliated my face for around a minute, then rinsed off at the basin. I did find it hard to rinse away all the product though and no matter how many times I splashed, I couldn't get it all off.

The next few times I used it though, I made sure it was just before my shower and found this much better! All the product was washed away when my whole face was under the shower. My skin instantly felt smooth and refined and eagerly absorbed my products which I applied to my skin like serum and moisturiser,. My face felt smooth, less oily and make up went on perfectly. My foundation looked so much more flawless. My skin felt much cleaner and I noticed less dry skin build up and less surface oil on my face.

I would definitely buy this product again. At $68 for 75 mls, its both an exfoliator and a mask, so you saving money and time. Don't overuse the product though! You dont need a thick layer, a thin layer all over is all that is needed. That and make sure you really rinse well. I love this product and can see why it won a BH Glosscar.

Beautifully renewed skin instantly!

This was God-sent (or should I say Goddess-sent!) for my skin. It is a 5 minute wonder which gives me even complexion like I have been paying attention to my skin when I am actually quite sloppy with my skin care. I love this facial for both its instant effect and long term goodness.

The mask is a creamy, white in colour with tiny exfoliating granules and comes in a handy tube. Just a tiny squeeze on to cleansed and wet face is enough to spread it all over. It feels really gentle and nice on the skin. After 5 minutes, I use a drop of water and just give my face a final buff for the tiny granules to work their magic. The tiny exfoliating particles gently and thoroughly clean my skin with no nasty burning or chemical-like feeling at all and absolutely no dryness. Overall a very pleasant facial experience.

Result: brand spankin' new skin! Just after the first use! I love the how my skin feels, so soft and fresh. My skin is really brightened after use. I find itty bitty glitters all over my face after I have washed off the mask. The glittery particles are not necessary for the glow or brightening effect as the product alone is so good. I don't mind the particles but it is an unnecessary addition which is my only critique.
I have been using this for 3 weeks twice a week and I can really feel the difference. My skin has a healthy glow. My complexion is even and my stubborn dry patches are gone! The area around my nose which has a few pores has really improved. I see the blackheads disappearing as well. My skin is velvety soft and so touchable.

This facial is a great addition to my lazy skincare routine and I will be using it just before going out or important events for the instant brightening and smoothing effects.

Amazing Multi-tasking Mask

I'm sure my excitement for this product was obvious when I submitted a review for the 2010 Glosscars, which I was happy to see also won a spot on the all-important Glosscars list! Well, I was pleasantly surprised to receive this product to trial, especially the good timing, as I was in need of a replacement.

A sparkng face

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! yes that's right, forget the beauty salon, purchase this facial scrub and you'll never look back. I have been using it twice a week for 2 weeks and my skin has shown definite signs of improvement. I have issues with blackheads and larger pores around my nose and have noticed a significant reduction since using this product. I love the two step idea. Place on like a mask, leave for 5 minutes so it can penetrate into the pores, then dampen down and give a gentle scrub. It leaves your skin smooth and clean. You are left with a sparkling face, yes that's right, little sparkles are left on the skin. The packaging is nothing to write home about, but still gives good instructions on how to use - very cliniquey....Priced alittle high, but you will be saving on beauty treatments. I will be buying it again.

Lovely...

This is the best facial product I've used. Having combination skin, just starting to get the odd fine line and having sensitive skin near my nose it's pretty much impossible to find product that helps with everything. Blemish fighting products dry my skin. Anti ageing products give me breakouts and aggravate sensitive arrears. Turnaround Instant Facial is FABULOUS in that it has improved my skin withouth aggravating anything else. My skin feels velvety, looks brighter and isn't irritated by this product. It ticks all the boxes. The last facial product I will buy.

Polished to Perfection with A Facial

Want glowing, fresh, vibrant skin in a hurry? Clinique's Turnaround Instant Facial is my favourite choice. Applying this once a week was enough to keep my sensitive skin brightened, though it can be used 2-3 times weekly if desired. Applying a small amount over cleansed dry skin, I simply leave it on for 5minutes then using lukewarm water gently massage it's granules over my face (avoiding eye area) and rinse off thoroughly. It works to exfoliate both physically while it sits on the skin and mechanically when massaged over the skin. This gives less irritation and stress to the skin, especially for my sensitive dry skin. Unique to have a mask and exfoliator in one tube! Fast, practical and effective, even after only one use my skin was visibly smoother, dead surface cells removed and skin glowed with no redness or aggravation that many exfoliants cause. My skin even felt soothed, hydrated and soft before applying any moisturising products. It does leave a fine layer of sparkle on the face after use, even after rinsing, however I found this was minimised by using a face cloth and gently patting the skin to remove them or by using it at night as by the next morning it was not noticeable, especially after cleansing face and applying makeup. My skin's pores haven't looked this good in a long time, my skin tones evened out and using this regularly
over 2 months seems to keep giving my skin the same positive results. I used a few deluxe samples to test my skin's reaction with this new at home wonder facial product at first. They and the full size product are tubes that make this practical to use and squeeze out as much product as wanted without contaminating the rest. The packaging's recyclable, and true to Clinique's standards this product is allergy tested and fragrance free, well deserving of a place in everyone's skincare regime. Clinique's
Turnaround Instant Facial is something that I would like to continue using. I am amazed at how well this product works in 5minutes, it's faster than any professional facial and gives great results.

This product is an exfoliating mask that you apply to your face for five minutes before gentling working over your skin so that the lovely little exfoliating beads can do their thing. You can use as little or as much pressure as needed to clear pores and remove dead skin cells.

This product is oil free which is great for my combination skin and even though I really scrub I don't get any irritation other than a bit of a flush due to friction. There is no noticeable smell which anyone who has read any of my reviews will know is very important to me when choosing products.

While not the cheapest exfoliant, $68 for 75ml, a little really does go a long way. I have spent plenty of money on products only to find the exfoliating beads are way too large and sometimes quite sharp so they don't give an even, smooth result and end up gathering dust in my bathroom.

The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that for some strange reason it contains tiny, little, glitter particles which can take a bit of rinsing off. Maybe that's not a bad thing as you know once the glitter is gone then so is all of the product. It really has me baffled why they've added the glitter but it's still not annoying enough to take away a heart from my rating.

If you're looking for a product that's both a chemical and manual exfoliant yet is gentle and easy to use then Turnaround Instant Facial is definitely for you.

So Good

This is super, did wonders for my skin. Originally got it as a sample and just that little bit helped. If I had any acne it cleared up faster, dry patches smoothed out. My skin always felt soft and fresh afterward. I don't mind the little sparkles in the formula, it actually helped to brighten my skin.

havent used it....YET

but have used the older version, and OMG, did it help my skin clear up. Its good for bumps, and redness! So I can imagine this would be good too. Must try it next time I'm at the Clinique counter!

Truly amazing!

I really love this face mask, it's amazing.

After I've used this my skin feels really soft and smooth, and it stays that way for at least a week. I've noticed with other forms of exfoliation my skin only feels smooth for a day afterward but this one lasts much longer.

It's really quick and easy to use and gives a great exfoliation. The granules in it are small and round so they don't scratch or irritate, they just give a great exfoliation.

As I have sensitive skin I don't use this across my cheeks as I find it can be slightly irritating.

If you haven't tried this mask I highly recommend it.

Great instant results in the comfort of your home!

I was so pleased when I realised that the Clinique Turnaround 15 Minute Facial was not being discontinued, but replaced by an improved product. The 15 Minute Facial has been a stable in my bathroom since it came out! This facial promotes instant surface cell turnover and I really like how it has both physical and chemical exfoliation. It provides you with the next best thing to a professional facial, in the comfort of your own home. It leaves the skin smooth and radiant looking, yet is very gentle, and does not dry out the skin. Definitely a new favourite for me, and a must-have in my bathroom cupboard!

Turnaround Instant Facial really is like an instant facial in 5 minutes, which is great for when you are pressed for time. It contains some glittery bits, which can be a little hard to rinse off, but I can't hold this against the product, as it gives me such great results!
It gives the skin a really thorough polish, leaving behind softer and smoother skin and gives me a "glow". The other great thing about it is when Clinique have their gift with purchase offer, this product is enough to qualify for the gift, as you usually need to spend over $60, meaning you also get the chance to try a nice little selection of Clinique's other products too!

Clinique : Turnaround Instant Facial

I must say when I realised my 15 minute facial was replaced with new product I was devastated!!! Much to my surprise this product is even better than the 15 minute facial - and more convenient (an added bonus). Personally, I find application once a week followed by the Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer is perfect for my skin. My skin was visibly softer, smoother and brighter from the first use. My pores are noticeably smaller. According to my Clinique consultant, only a 10 cent sized amount is recommended per application - So to anyone thinking about buying this product don't be put off by the price! I would recommend this product to anyone wanting silky, luminous skin!!!

Insant Results!

This mask comes in a 50 ml tube that is easy to manage and extract the product from.
There is a slight smell, but I had to put the tube close to my nose to notice the scent.
I love how this mask combines both physical and chemical exfoliation. It's a mask and an exfoliator in one. 5 minutes is all you need for a full treatment!!
The mask contains small exfoliating beads, that are massaged over the skin, as the mask is being rinsed off, along with the dead skincells.
I was skeptical that using a product for 5 minutes would deliver results. But boy was I wrong!! My skin felt so smooth and looked radiant. The ugly bumps of problem skin were dramatically reduced, leaving bright, velvety soft skin. All this after just one application and without being as harsh as micro-dermabrasion, making it gentle enough to use 2-3 times a week. I can't wait to see the results of continued use!
The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is because of the glitter in this product, it's not necessary, and at my age, quite tacky. To overcome this "problem" this product can be simply applied at night, and a shower in the morning will remove any unwanted glitter. Other than this small inconvenience, I am a very happy customer!!

Instant as it says!

After reading reviews through the forums I could not wait to try this treatment! I ended up splurging on the full size product and in the end it did not disappoint me at all. I use this twice a week and after two applications, my face seemed brighter and my pores seemed less visible. This is a miracle product which dissolves and sweeps away dead skin cells. It is quite expensive, so I use only a small amount each time. One downside is the intense glitter produced over my face after using it! So, I only use it at night and then in the morning the glitter washes away when I shower. Consistent use of this instant facial leaves my skin looking alive!.

Got this as a freebie. It's good, but not fantastic. There are better Clinique masks around. My skins looked a bit better, but it didn't do anything for my clogged pores. Definitely more radiant though it didn't last long.

New me

Have recently tried this as my skin has been looking very patchy and dull. I used this twice and am absolutely STOKED with the results. Haven't seen my skin look this good in ages. Smooth and can hardly notice the pigmentation.
