How much perfume should I wear?

As a general rule, one to two pumps of the perfume spray bottle are the right amount for producing a noticeable, lasting scent. ‘Pure’ fragrances, perfume oils or solid perfumes need only to be dabbed to a couple of pulse points – such as the wrists and behind the ears. Avoid rubbing in perfume as this will actually cause the smell to fade faster.

^ Sweet_Chilli - that is such a good idea, should give that a try
I learnt where to spray perfume by my mum, since she has such good taste in perfume and making it last longer and to make it smell good all day long. :)

I personally like to use 2-3 pumps if it is an actual 'Parfum' (sometimes 1 of them through my hair), but if it's Eau de Toilette I find the scent dissipates much more quickly. That's why I prefer "real" perfume or perfume oil.

No matter what I do and no matter what kind of perfume I buy it all fades within a few hours! It's like the stuff doesn't stick to me at all

Always put on less than you think. There is nothing wore than too much of a scent

I do as suggested, but I have gagged with both men and women applying too much.

I am guilty of using a fair bit of perfume. Good to know that rubbing in makes the perfume fade faster.
