Great for refreshing and setting makeup

I got this product as part of my beautorium haul. I had heard good things about it but never bought it myself because I didn't think it was worth the money. However, after I finish my bottle I think I will definitely repurchase.

The bottle releases and cool, fine mist onto your face that is really refreshing. It actually minimises some redness on my face. After applying makeup I spray this to set my makeup and so the powder doesn't look as cakey and it works a charm. Since it's so refreshing I sometimes use it during a hot or stressful day. The 50mL bottle is perfect for carrying around in my bag.

I found it interesting that the bottle mentioned that it would be great for travel. This would be perfect for that use if not for the aerosol packaging. Perhaps avene should come out with an aeroplane friendly version

Awesome oily skin toner

I got this in a GlossyBox and felt kinda 'meh' about it, but I had it so thought I'd give it a go. I use it after washing my face as a toner before applying my moisturiser, and my combination / by-the-end-of-the-day-oilslick skin is now (after using it for 3 days) soft, absorbs my moisturiser much more easily, and much better behaved.

My make up stays longer, my skin is clearer, it even helped to clear up a bit of an eczema breakout along my hairline.

Awesome. Love it so much. For a bottle of spray water, it's amazing!

So refreshing

I use this after brow waxes, and it's just soooo cooling and soothing for my red, irritated skin.
It's also great for summer to cool hot skin, after sunburn, and just to refresh my skin in the middle of the day.
I can spray this over my makeup and it won't make it run or disturb it at all. I keep it in the fridge and pop it in my bag in the morning for lunchtime spritzes!

It is just water in a bottle. But it's in a great bottle!

I don't really buy into the hype of "miracle water", but I do like to spritz water on my face.... to set make up, before moisturising, if my skin feels tight, to refresh etc...

The thing I like about this is the superfine mist that comes out at the perfect pressure. Great1

Tones Down Redness

I picked this up off the shelf while browsing. Great product, I suffer badly from rosace and it really cools and tones. Also taken to spraying it on arms and neck on those steamy QLD days, works a treat.

not just water in bottle

I was very unbelieving of the claims of this product so I only bought the smaller spray, which fits nicely into my bag.
FIrst time I used this I found my face burning up and I gave my face a light mist and found my face starting calming almost straight away. I have also used this a refresher spritz during the recent humid days and loved it as it helped cool and refresh me.
I have tried using this a settng spray and have not seen many changes in this area, but I have not monitored this to closely.
I think the smaller bottle is a great travel size and is a must have on warm, humid days.

Refreshing

I got a bottle of this in my March Glossybox, and didn't think much of it until a particularly warm afternoon at home, i thought to myself: "Why not give this a go?" I'm so happy I did! I spritz myself every so often with this, and I know I'll be horrified when it runs out!
I suffer from oily, blotchy skin and this certainly takes the heat off, relieving both of those horrible skin symptoms!
I would give it a go if you're in to spritzing your face!
My boyfriend says it's just water in a can... that just means more for me!

Refreshing, cooling and hydrating.

I have been wanting this thermal spring water for so long and thanks to Beautorium, I was able to finally get it. Thanks BH♥♥
I love the Avene brand. I use this through the day to give my face a quick spritz and refresher and I also use this of a night as a toner or before I apply my serums. It applies onto my face in a very fine spray mist, which sits on the skin and absorbs a little at a time, after 40-60 secs, I then pat the remainder of the moisture in to my face. I store this in my fridge so it makes the effect of cooling a more noticeable experience. This facial mist leaves my skin feeling soft and moist and doesn't leave it feeling dry or tight like some water-type mists do. I love this and am so glad I brought it. I will definately repurchase this.

Refreshing, softening

I use this as a toner, spraying it on my face after cleanings/exfoliating. It's very refreshing, non-irritating and makes my skin feel soft rather than oily. The price is OK too. However, I can't see any other benefits to this product other than making my skin feel soft andrefreshed. As a general refreshing face mist this produce is ideal, but I would prefer something that can provide more benefits to use as a toner.

A pleasant surprise

While I'm not generally one to buy into the hype, I was pleasantly surprised at the results I got when I tried this product after cleansing. It has gently toned my skin and restored some moisture, which is just fabulous. The hardest part about using this product is preparing to spray myself in the face, I can't help but think I might be making my fine lines worse by flinching when I hold the can up! If I were to recommend a change it would be to put the product in a non-aerosol spray bottle, mainly for environmental reasons but also to take away some of the force of the spray mechanism. All in all I was very impressed for something I assumed was just a fad.

I'm a believer

OK OK, at the end of the day it's just water in a can...but I love it anyway! Soothing, cooling, and it feels amazing on my skin. I use it before I apply moisturiser to lock in a little extra hydration, and I am certain that it does a little extra something for my skin.

Magic water that can't be replaced!!!

I am so so glad I found this product and made the choice to start using it. I have some sensitive skin and prone to red spots and acne. Prior to using this product, I have tried many different type of product and EVERYTHING seemed to trigger acne and the red spots on my face. Sometimes it stings and sometimes it's just really itchy and dry. I had enough and turned to this Thermal Spring Water after seeing the advertising in the magazine. God, am I glad!!!! My skin has really cleared up alot, especially the redness. My face looks more hydrated and healthy without the shine and oil. It feels so refreshing to just spray on the face after a day out in the heat! Love Love Love it!

Amazing stuff.

I love this stuff. It is the only toner type product I use. It instantly soothes hot, red faces, and also neutralises the chemicals left on your skin from water.
The water in my town is really hard, while its beautiful to drink, its really hard long term on the skin, so this product is really good for that.

not sure if it works

I'm one of those people that just buys something out of curiousity. I came across this product at priceline, I was having skin itches from the inconsistancy of Sydney weather lately, and the product claims to be soothing for allergic and sensitive skin. There I went and bought it, sprayed a little bit here and a little bit there. Amazingly, the itches actually went away. I dont know i the product actually worked on me or it's just my head thinking that it works because the next morning i'm still getting itches again. I guess if the product says a temporary soother it would make more sense. Anyways, I'm still happy with it the fact that it also helps hydrate your skin. But I'm not sure if this will ever be my regular household purchases.

LOVEE :D

I am highly prone to redness and this spray immediately reduces any signs of redness. It is just so refreshing when your skin just feels dehydrated and provides instant moisture. When i have an irritating patch of eczema on my arms or legs, then I spray a bit on the area and is it soothed and slightly moisturised. These are just some of the uses of this multi-product and i highly recommend it anyone.

Refreshing and cooling

Alot of people say that this is just water in a can...and I used to think like that too...but this product actually relieves the skin of so many problems as they say above....especially in summer a product like this is key for red skin and really hot and blotchy skin. My cheeks are always red and found that using this product has helped dramatically!!
so I would recommend it to anyone, also in my opinion does help improve skin ageing, like lines and wrinkles!

LOL Water in a can

This has the distinction of being the only beauty product I've ever purchased for lulz. It has done absolutely nothing apart from adding nitrogen to my skin and potentially irritating it. While it is quite refreshing, that isn't enough reason to purchase it again. It's completely pointless. And I swear the cashier at Chemist Warehouse looked at me funny when I went to part with my hard-earned money for this troll of the beauty industry.

Expensive water?

I can't help but think this is expensive water in a bottle. I don't think this product is so sort of miracle- it doesn't make my makeup last longer or make my skin more smooth. I blush a lot and I don't think this helps all that much but its certainly better than nothing. But I think I could achieve the same results with cold water. The reason why I would keep buying this is because I do like the size and it's compact, it's also refreshing particularly after a long day.

Good product to have it handy in order to keep your face refreshed

I have a habit to pressed my black heads or pimples on my face. After that, it's normally red and swollen. I decided to spray some Thermal Spring water on my face. Immediately I felt very refreshed and after a while the redness of my water subsided. Thermal Spring water not only cool and soothe my skin but reduces the redness and prevent my face from being swell up. Definitely a good product to have! I also use this for setting of my make up. No complain till date.

This is great after cleansing with the Avene soapless cleanser I love it, I had another brand of water spray in the past but this one is far superior, I think it's a little overpriced especially the small one for travelling but I think it'll last a while and I will keep buying it because it really does moisturise the skin and keep it looking healthy, fantastic for flights and hot humid weather too, the amount of minerals in the water also makes you feel you are really treating the skin, making it a great toning step before moisturising/suncream. :)

I receive this product in a cute travel size can from bh for one of the recent competitions (thx bh!). It's a great product to carry in your handbag on these hot humid days for a quick refreshener. It's really cool on the skin and refreshing. Being fragrance free it's perfect for sensitive skin. its ok

i bought this product in hopes that it would reduce the redness on the sides of my nose which has persisted for more than a year, unfortunately the product did nothing for that. However, it is quite moisturising and it prevents dryness on my sensitive cheeks. Though it is a versatile product and there are evidently many benefits from owning a can, I don't think i'll invest in a second purchase as it is not only quite expensive, but it just didn't prove to be so effective

Surprisingly versatile

I received a sample of the smaller sized can of Avène Thermal Spring Water and I was very skeptical about it. Who would pay that much for water in a can?! Nonetheless, it has proved versatile and the small can is very handy as it can be toted around in a handbag. I've used it for relief on mild sunburn, as a makeshift toner, after shaving/waxing and to cool down in intense heat or after exercise. I'm not entirely convinced to spend the money on this product but can definitely see the appeal.

Great simple product

This product is worth of a 5-star rating for its versatility. On days when I don't want to overload my skin with too many products I like to keep it simple and use this to refresh and hydrate my skin.

This is gentle enough for even the most sensitive of skin types and helps with calming down inflamed, red skin.

You can use this as a toner, to set makeup, to refresh in the heat, to use under masks/serums/moisturisers to seal in the moisture.

The mist is also one of the finest so you don't end up with large drops of water on your skin.

I spray it on itchy bites, sunburn, after hair removal or just as a refreshing pick-me-up on hot days. I love how your skin continues to feel cold for ages after applying it. Avène Thermal Spring Water

I bought a couple of small cans because there was a special offer on at priceline, otherwise I would have been too skeptical to bother. I'm onto the second one now but am still undecided on whether it's worth the money or not.
The aerosol cans make it easy to spray a fine mist of water onto my face which I like a lot. I used to use plain rosewater which I put into a spray bottle, but the aerosol makes a much finer mist. Once sprayed, I find my other products are far easier to apply and spread evenly over my face. Serums definitely go a lot further than if I was to spray nothing at all.
However I don't actually see or feel any difference in my skin. It doesn't seem to be more hyrdated and the sensitivity is not diminished.
Before buying again I will try putting spring water into a steralised spray bottle to see if that works as well. To me the price is just a bit silly for a can of water.

Good basic face mist.

I used to love carrying this around in my hand bag, usually just to help cool my face (and arms) in hot weather, but I found it great to use to help 'set' my makeup when I use powder so it doesnt look tooo matte. I also used it after blotting during the day. I don't think it helped very much with facial redness but it is very cooling during the summer.

This is a winner!

I would give this 8 out of 5 if I could - this product is absolutely fantastic! It has so many applications that for such a small price it really is worth it. My number one use for this is to set my mineral makeup/bronzer. It leaves my skin with a dewy glow and I have had people comment on the change. I love that it comes in a can and not a spray bottle so that you can choose how little or how much to spray on. I have sensitive skin and have used other face mists in the past that sting my eyes, but this one does nothing but soothe as it's so natural. I love spraying this before bed to leave my skin feeling smooth, on my eczema for the calming effect it provides, and after a gym session or a hot day to cool me down. This is a truly wonderful buy that I feel would benefit anyone, particularly those that use mineral makeup or have sensitive skin.

Spring water works amazingly.

I am such a big fan of this water that i have a few bottles stored up. I normally buy the smallest size of this because it allows me to carry it around in my bag all the time.

One spray is all you need to feel clean and refreshed. Maybe it's just me but i feel that my skin is more moisturised after i spray it. I use it as a toner and to set my makeup. I believe this could be a cheaper alternative to Mac's Fix+ Spray because this product is so versatile.

Avene Thermal Spring Water

I LOVE this product!! It's excellent for just refreshing your face throughout the day, or if you've been out in the sun too long. It's great as a "pick me up", especially if you're rather tired.

I originally thought this product would be a waste of time and money. Turns out I was wrong! It's a great multi-use product. I use it as a toner, moisturiser on a hot day or when I'm in a hurry and it sets your makeup

Avene Springs

I went to a training for this brand and the water comes from a spring in a town called Avene in France. It was found that people who bathed in the spring would heal better so they opened a spa in whichi pople with skin disorders are still sent to by Dr's to go and have treatments done at the spa to get rid of eczema and that, I think they are 30 days but still I saw pictures looks impressive.

Anyway I have tried it and I love it very refreshing!

DONT FLY WITHOUT IT!

When we were ALLOWED to take canned goodness on planes, this used to be my hero. Now i just keep it in my handbag all the time, great when you're in a club and the air is hot and dry. Very refreshing. I've tried using just water in a spritzer and I don't think it's as good, this hydration seems to last a little more.

Love Love Love

This spray is the best, my skin is easily irritated, especially just after a shower. I spray this on any areas that need it and it is instantly calmed, minutes later all redness is gone. I also use this as a toner after cleansing. I was doubtful that water in a can could do much but now I would not be without it.

Thou shall never live without

I mainly use this product as a toner as I have never found one that doesn't dry my skin or cause it to sting. This is a product with a multitude of means. It's also great for setting my mineral make up. And the best part of all, the large can last forever and ever and ever.

Cool & refreshing-perfect for travel!

I first bought this when I spent a lot of time outdoors in the sun, it's great for a quick spritz to freshen up. Having to travel during summer in a wool uniform can be very hot, so I keep one of these in the car, a great pick me up on hot days or just when you're feeling a little tired while driving. I also use it to set make-up, and as a mini wake-me-up on overnight flights when I'm working. Helps me stay awake when everyone else gets to sleep. Also good for sun burn or just when you're feeling a little bleary after a big night out =)

Love this product

I bought this a few days ago after reading the article on BH about Rosacea. It really does cool and soothe the skin and leaves it wonderfully soft and moisturised. I am sold, my skin has a tendency to over-react to products but this one it loves. Product is dispensed in a fine mist and the small can is the perfect size for my handbag. An all round must have and soon to be cult classic (if it isn't already).

This is such a must have in your fridge (yes Fridge!), its so cool and refreshing, especially on hot humid days.
Its also great with irritated inflamed skin.
I used this even more so through my pregnancy as I came out in a rash all over my body and it was the only thing that seemed to cool my skin and not irritate it to make me scratch.

Handbag essential

There’s nothing better than a cool facial mist in summer, well other than a mist of Avene’s thermal spring water! This stuff has not left my side since I received it last week. I have very dry sensitive skin that is susceptible to itching, flaking and redness and I have found that this thermal spring water has made life easier in the short time I have been using it for. I give my face a spray after cleansing letting my skin absorb for about a minute before I lock the moisture in with a moisturizer. I apply throughout the day when my skin is feeling dry or itchy and even as a pick me up. It is also great after exfoliating and hair removal. My eyebrows are no longer red for hours after waxing. It leaves my complexion looking dewy and radiant. While I use the product often I use it sparingly so I think this can will go a long way. I will be purchasing this again and again.

REVIEWED BY BEAUTYHEAVEN

This is a product that lives in my fridge for three purposes:
1. I am partial to AHA peels and salon resurfacing treatments that often leave my skin a little pink and tender, but a quick spritz of this cools and soothes my complexion instantly.
2. My husband is very pale, and our love of the outdoors often means he gets a bit sunburnt (very naughty). Not only does this cool and soothe his skin, but I know it is actually good for his skin.
3. It turns a powdery matte makeup job into a dewy, natural finish, without adding extra oils or compromising staying power. I just spray over my face, after applying foundation, powder and eyeshadow, but before mascara and gloss.
