Make up Remover

Does anyone use either the Face Halo or the Manicare Make-up Remover Towel? Which in your opinion is better to use?

I own Manicare makeup remover towels and I think they are great. Skin feels amazing after use.

It has been just over 2 years since anyone has commented on this forum but I have just discovered ‘face halo’ and have a question to ask. I’m looking to use face halo to remove facial scrub – do you think this will be ok?

      G`day, Miss_85!

I don`t own the face halo brand, but I own Manicare makeup remover towels (pictured), plus several generic microfibre face cloths: I use them to remove makeup, cleanser, face scrubs & even face masks. So, I say go for it! Rinse under the tap to get the gunk off, then throw it in the washing machine.

Tip: throw your face haloes into a lingerie bag to launder, because small items can get stuck under the agitator or sucked up the hose when the water gets pumped out. I wash mine in a towels load.

I started using the manicure pink mini towels a few months ago. I should’ve bought them years ago and saved money from buying the damn expensive make up remover wipes! At least with the towels, you can wash and reuse. 🙂

The black pro ones are great if you don’t want to look at a stained one all the time too lol.

I have the face halo pads. Like others on here, I use a cleanser after. I use a few drops of cleansing oil, particularly on my eyes, and use the face halo to take off the rest of my makeup. I also use it to remove the cleansers too. I like them.

I didn’t know this existed but now I am intrigued. I am so sick of buying cotton pads.

Ooh I think I am going to try some of these cloths! Seems much better for the environment using reusable ones versus one use.

Face Halo is awesome. Highly recommended them. I still like to cleanse afterwards though just to make sure and there are little books and crannies around my eyes especially that need extra attention

I use a gel or cream cleanser then rinse with a muslin face cloth from nourished life – changing it daily.

I’ve been using the Face Halo Cloths since they hit Priceline stores. They can take your eye make-up off but I prefer to use my eye make-up remover. Really like the Face Halos though and it does get all my other make-up off. I then use a cleanser to make sure but there’s no dirt left behind at all. They are great to travel with also and clean up really well.
