2009: a gorgeously jam-packed year in which we welcomed a few new beauty loves into our lives.

Who could forget the release of Marc Jacob’s latest masterpiece, Lola?
With its flamboyant bottle and musky scent, it adorned many a bedside table in 2009. (Mine included.)

For a lipstick junkie such as myself, it was surprising that I’d fall so head over heels for the texta-like COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain – but the long-wear and fabulous plum shades were just far too hard to resist.

In the nail department, the launch of OPI’s Matte collection of polishes left us all a little stunned. These brilliant shades go completely against regular, shiny nail protocol, but hey, different is cool right?

And let’s not forget the Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Range – specialising in acne-prone and dry skin, this range is a true calling for anyone with skin worries that wants an efficient answer that works!

I love Covergirl Outlast Lipstain. I think my favourite part of 2009 was spending time with my family overseas, who I don't get to see very often and so it was nice to be a part of that.

hmm...so many new & exciting beauty products were released this year and so in love with them all! :) My favourite part of 09 would have to be going on a 7 night cruise & getting engaged! That was definately the highlight for me! :) Let's hope 2010 is even better! I can't wait! Bring on the new year!!! :) xo Happy NYE everyone, play safe! ;) xx

I'm not sure what my fav part of 2009 was as it wasn't an easy year. I am looking forward to 2010 and hope it brings better times. I have enjoyed being a part of bh.

I love the outlast lip stain too, and have discovered primers and refreshing hydration sprays. Thanks BH :-)

2009 wasn't great because our house was burgled twice . . . but we have better security now so hopefully the house will be safe, and there will be some nice high points to remember in 2010.

I have no regrets from 2009. And the good outweighed the bad ! Bought my first unit. Completed the first 3 years of my BA- off to do honours. The birth of my cousin was the best ever !

Watching my two children develop as toddlers into little people is the only highlight for me and I am hoping for some more of the same next year along with a bit of better luck and alot more happiness :)

2009 was good but I am expecting more of good luck, good health and happiness in 2010.
Beauty wise, 2009 was the year I took a big plunge into all thing beautiful by joining BH. I have loved every minute I spend here.

My favourite part was booking/printing the tickets to Lady GaGa's concert!

2009 wasn't a good year for me at all. Hopefully things will get better in 2010. Will be going into my final year of dental school - another step closer to the 'Real World'. Scary, but exciting.

I am excited about seeing all the products that are released in 2010!
Particularly Neutrogena, Garnier, Vera Wang and the Body Shop to name a few.
Here's hoping I also get to trial some great products from BH!

I ended up trying new brands and products that I doubted I would do...I purchased a creme blush on the 30th of December, so I scraped in 2009's products that I had never tried.

I discovered pricelines brand of products this year. They are great quality and very cheap. My favourites are vitamin e face mask and aging erase face wipes which all cost about 5 bux! Im all for a good product that is a bargain

2009 being my first year of fulltime work, for the first time I've been able to afford to experiment with a few different brands and products. My favourites have been akin cellular radiance serum, ultraceuticals evenskintone serum, and olay thermal polisher
