My go to wipes (Glosscars 2013)
I have pretty temperamental skin at times and find my skin can only cope with using face wipes either every second day or changing brands before I even finish a packet. I go red and my face just burns.
So I am so happy to have gotten these lovely wipes from Burts Bees (courtesy of my partner). I have been using them religiously every day to remove my makeup before cleansing and have had no trouble with redness or burning.
My face is left makeup free and clean, I don't even need to rinse as there is no residue left on my face.
The wipes themselves have a fresh scent, which isn't overpowering or offensive.
The best thing about the wipes though is that they are natural, so no hidden nasties!
Overall, I have to say that these are amazing wipes and I will no longer buy other brands.

Not for me
I really really didn't like these wipes.
The smell was overwhelming, and stayed around my face for ages, which was very unpleasant. It's a herbally, florally fragrance, which I absolutely could not stand, but a friend told me she loves the smell, so I guess it's personal preference.
I found the effectiveness of these wipes to be pretty poor too. I wiped off my make up, then used a foaming cleanser, but when I wiped my face with a toner, there was still some make up left, and my eye make up was very much still there.
Because these worked so badly, I felt I had to rub more, which I did not want to do, especially around the eyes.
These might be ok as just refresher wipes on bare skin.
I did like the plastic lid thing, it's much better than flimsy stickers other wipes have, and I guess these would be good to travel with.
Overall I did not like these towelettes at all, and will not recommend or repurchase.

Irritated my skin
I usually like this brand but these wipes really made my face sting so much that I had to rinse my skin with water straight away.
I gave the rest of the pack to my sister and she had no problem with them so maybe it's just me.

Nice to have, but not essential
I'm not a massive fan of facial wipes, but I do like to have them on hand for when I'm feeling lazy. I like the Burt's Bees ones because they don't leave that film that a lot of others can, and they feel nice and refreshing. However, I don't find them particularly useful for removing makeup, and really only use them at the end of a day I've been makeup free, to get rid of the SPF moisturiser I've been wearing through the day.
They're a nice product to have around, but I don't think they're a must have.

CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT!
These wipes are one of my top 10 beauty products that i literally could not live without!
i use them every night and they just make my skin feel so lovely and soft and amazing and clean..and personally i love the smell, its quite floral and not to everyones taste but it reminds me of spring time and i adore it.
its not great for removing eye makeup, but i never use facial wipes on my eyes anyways as they can be too harsh, so i use eye makeup specific wipes anyways.
but these are my favourite facial wipes, and i love that you get so many in 1 pack!

Great natural wipes!!
My partner got me these when myer were doing the Burt's bees gwp and I am so glad I got to try them.
I found them to be very good at removing both mineral makeup and bb cream, as well as eyeshadow and non-waterproof mascara.
I love the scent of these wipes, and I like the fact that the scent lingers a little too.
I have sensitive skin and find these wipes don't irritate my easily irritated skin.
I am on my second packet now and I will definately buy these wipes again!

Not for me
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of these wipes. At a superficial level I found the smell a bit unpleasant, but it was the product's cleansing power, or lack thereof, that let them down.
I like to use wipes on those lazy nights when I know I need to remove my makeup (mineral powder foundation) before bed, but don't want to do my regular cleansing routine. I found these wipes did an average job at cleaning my skin and my skin still felt 'dirty'. The wipes also left a slight sticky film on my face which I am almost tempted to wash off - the product didn't seem to dissipate from my skin like other wipes I have used.
Although these wipes don't work for my skin, I have to say that part of the problem is probably that my skin gets quite oily in my t-zone. Those with less oily skin my find these wipes more suitable. I agree with the previous reviewer that I wouldn't recommend them for removing makeup, unless you wear minimal makeup.
Personally I am going to stick with the Neutrogena Rapid Clear wipes as they give my skin a much better clean and are more suited for my oily skin. I will not be purchasing these again, unfortunately. But I have to emphasise that these wipes are not a good indicator of the performance of the rest of the Burt's Bees range, they have some great products, but these just don't work for me. =)

Not the best for makeup removal
I had high hopes for these face wipes but they just don't perform for me. My main problem with them is that the wipes struggle to remove light makeup (tinted moisturiser, mineral foundation and non-waterproof mascara). While they don't sting or irritate my skin, I don't feel that they cleanse my face well enough. I find myself having to go over my face again with some toner and a cotton ball to remove my leftover makeup. They don't leave that greasy film over my face like many other brands do and I love that they're 99% natural, but they really aren't good for removing makeup - which is the main reason that I bought them.
For comparison purposes, I usually use the Yes To brand and find that these towelettes have a much stronger scent (I don't know how to describe it other than perfumey) and the wipes are noticeably smaller also. I feel like my face would be cleaner if I used 2 wipes but it seems excessive for the price.
I think that they're be good if you wear little to no makeup and just need a natural wipe to freshen up your face & body, but definitely would not recommend them for makeup removal.
Overall, I wouldn't purchase these again.
