Have you heard of Priceline? Of course you have (my guess is if you’re pretty much head over heels about beauty, you’d definitely know what Priceline is!). What you may not know about is its fantastic new Beauty Club program launching in April, complete with a too-cute facelift – and all the fabulous new rewards that come with it!

Firstly, there is the Priceline Beauty Club, which (for a $25 joining fee) will see you receiving a Models Prefer gift pack worth $69! Better still, a Priceline Beauty Club member you’ll also be entitled to samples of unreleased beauty products, invites to VIP beauty events, and access to a member’s only virtual Beauty Lounge!

Plus, Beauty Club members receive one point per dollar spent at Priceline, and if you earn enough points, you get a gift voucher every quarter! For example, if you spend $100 in a quarter you’ll receive a $3 voucher; if you spend $200 you’ll receive an $8 voucher; and if you spend $225 or more in a quarter, you’ll receive a $11.25 voucher.

Priceline also believe in giving back so it’s launching the Priceline Sister Club, which raises awareness and funds for six charities that provide help and support to women in the areas of heart and mental health, family wellbeing and fighting cancer. Those that are members of the current Clubcard program will get a chance to upgrade to the Sister Card by donating to the Sisterhood later in the year – while people new to the Beauty Club will be automatically upgraded!

Doesn’t that sound like something worth being a part of?

? I think I like the simplicity of the initial club best. Not sure if I'm understanding correctly but isn't it asking it's customers to pay them to now be part of their club? I think I've missed something!

Good article, I am already a loyal member, seeing as I love all things beauty.

Im not sure yet if this is for me ...mainly because where i normally shop there is no priceline and although im a member of the priceline club card i only get to use it on very few occassions a year so im not sure that this new club would be of benefit to me.

I refuse to join a club that has a joining fee. Not for me.

I already joined yesterday! Hopefully the sister club lives up to its expectations. I go there often, so i thought 'why not join?'.

I dont think ill join .... I go to chemmart and places more often these days as I get more rewards on my loyalty card when I spend my money there I seem to always have chemmart cash on my chemmart card and I love it! and their rewards are instant no waiting by my mail box! only go to priceline occasionally now ....also cos it is a bit of a hassle getting there, I hate that shopping centre lol!!

Seeing as my nearest priceline is 45 minutes away I don't think I shop there enough to get my money's worth out of the card.

I know this sounds great but I'm not too sure that I would like to join though, I only sometimes go to Priceline as I need to go out of my way to get there.

I don't buy much from Priceline but if money is going back to also support charities it may be worthwhile.

I have joined and love the fact that the $25 joining fee goes to the Sisterhood program. You can still be part of their rewards club without paying the joining fee - you will just not get the added % reward and won't be invited to VIP events etc.

This club sounds okay. Seriously though the vouchers dont sound that worthwhile.

Yes, it does sound worthwhile to join this new club. I loved my Priceline GWP, I got a couple of years ago. Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Liv. : )

I do not know if I will join. I will keep my ear to the ground though and see if it is something I would be interested in.

im a bit on the the fence about this. i remember when i joined clubcard a few years ago they promised newletters and samples as well as the vouchers but they turned the newletters into the ezines and never once got any samples, dont see how this would be any different and i doubt ill be able to reach $225 each time

Really pleased you've done an article on this. On a personal basis, the gift isn't worth considering - purely personal - and if I wanted to donate $25 to charity I'd choose my own charity. I still have my Priceline card and have signed for the free 90 day trial. I'll make a decision then but it will need to appeal far more than it does now. Special events would be fine if you live close to the capital cities, many of us don't.
