beautyheaven says:

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer is a lip product that claims to combine the colour of a lipstick and the lacquer-like shine of a lip gloss. The creamy conditioning formula features pure colour pigments, and is said to leave the lips vibrantly coloured and wonderfully glossy. It is available in the following eight shades: Stellar (a tangerine coral), Apocaliptic (a vibrant hot pink), Nova (a soft baby pink), Celestial (a pinky mauve), Solstice (a neutral mauve), Phenomenon (a peachy gold), Nude Eclipse (a natural nude), and Stargazer (a shimmery gold).

Most members of this Trial Team loved the product. The high pigment finish, the range of colours, and the easy-to-use wand applicator impressed them greatly. Many mentioned they lived up to the hype they’d gathered prior to their release in Australia, and that they’d happily repurchase them and recommend them to others. The group was also elated to try all eight shades from the range – not just one or two – so hats off to you, Rimmel London.

A couple of members thought they didn’t stay-put as long as they thought they would, however because the application is so quick, it was easy to reapply throughout the day or try out a different colour. (Our tip is to let the product dry completely before eating or drinking – you’ll get hours of wear that way.) Some also requested a true red should be added to the colour line-up.

"These lip lacquers have the BEST staying power and that's one of the big reasons why I really enjoyed using them. I don't like having to reapply my lippy multiple times. I find it builds up too much and looks silly. With these lacquers, they fade nice and evenly, so I'm not left with that awful ring around my lip line." – Shazam. Read more...

"The thing I love most about the bolder shades, particularly Stellar and Apocaliptic is that once they had worn off a bit my lips were still tinged with colour like a lip stain... Given their staying power, ease of application and price I think these beauties are my new must have!" – Jsomara. Read more...

"I don't exactly know what a "lip lacquer" is but this one is applied like a lip gloss but is very pigmented and opaque like a lipstick - win! I don't use lip glosses because I hate the sticky feeling and I don't really use lipsticks because it dries my lips too much. So this is a very exciting product for me!"– Morrigan. Read more...

"Generally speaking, I loathe liquid lipstick. They are tacky, drying and downright awful. Apocalips is not. They wear extremely well for a product that stays glossy. They are easy to apply and don't require a lip liner. The colours are so pigmented! Nothing sheer about these... I can't think of a bad thing to say about these lipsticks and I will repurchase my favourite colours when I run out." – GlossCo. Read more...

"This lip lacquer feels soft and smooth on my lips and it is super easy to use. The colours are very pigmented, vibrant and has great staying power. This is such an impressive lip product that I would happily recommend to others." – Chickybabe1. Read more...
