One of the ladies at MAC had a bold plum lip. It looked so good against her super fair skin.I wish I could pull off colours like that.

I love Plum shades too, maybe a bit of red tinge to it too. I just need to work on the complexion and hopefully i can pull it off

I read in a magazine that warm-toned people and brunettes are the only ones that can "pull off a true purple". So I guess the more pigmented you are in skin, hair etc...the more you can get away with plum. Luckily I'm a brunette!

Being blonde, everyone says red would work for me but I haven't found that shade, thanks to Beautyheaven I went and tried on a plum shade and it looks so great, I love it !

I do like a dark lip, however my skin is so pale, while my eyes and hair are brown. It can make me look like a bit of a goth, so I go with light berry shades instead. But maybe when i'm older and i chose to lighten my hair, i could get away with it then :P
