We're getting through the Glosscars winners slowly but surely! So here's a little bit about your fellow bh member, Beautystar.
She loves lipgloss, the Backstreet Boys (ummm, who doesn't? I LOVE them!), and knows how to ensure your make-up looks perfect before any special occasion...
How did you feel when you first found out you won the Glosscars prize pack?
Super shocked, then super excited, then a bit teary (happy tears!), then I was quite hyperactive for the rest of the day. I had a bub eight weeks before, and so spending on beauty products was a luxury I had to give up this year. Now it is going to be easy to give it up as I have every beauty product I could ever want and then some.
What’s your best beauty tip?
Cleanse morning and night, no matter how tired you are. It’s the only thing that really keeps blackheads at bay (I only wish I always took my own advice)!
If you were a beauty product you’d be...
Glitter face gel – I’m all sparkly and not at all subtle!
What’s your biggest beauty faux pas?
This is a shocker – I used to love the look of shimmery illuminator under the eyes...however, I didn’t know that it was illuminator. So, for my year 12 formal, I bought some white shimmery eye shadow and wore it under my eyes. It was terrible. It made my eyes look tiny and it completely reflected when photographed so I looked shocking in all of my photos. I did learn a lesson though...always do a photo shoot before important occasions to see how your make-up looks in photographs.
You never leave home without...
NIVEA Light Feel Daily Face Veil SPF30, and about a billion different tubes of lipgloss.
What’s the lamest song on your iPod?
I don’t think any of the songs on my iPod are lame...but others may think that Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ or Backstreet Boys ‘Backstreets Back’ are lame...however they’d be wrong!
What makes you feel beautiful?
For me it's as simple as a slick of mascara, some lipgloss and wearing my contacts instead of my specs makes me feel beautiful – it makes me feel like I have gone to an effort to look good.
What's the lamest song on your iPod?

Lamest song would have to be...solider of love by donny osmond LOL we used it for dance once when i was about 5 but i have no idea how it ended up on my ipod....

Congrats on the bub and your prize Beautystar! My lamest song I have is probably Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson. My friend and I both started singing it one day as we had heard it being played by our parents and it is still on my phone. :)

That was excellent darl, I enjoyed your answers, great photo you seem so relaxed compared to the huge nervous wreck I was knowing my piccy would be on BH, lol. Congrats on your little one who I am sure is not so little now and is striving through the many milestones of the first year :)

While I obviously agree with beautystar that none of the songs on my ipod are lame otherwise they wouldn't be there some people may disagree on the Enya and Loreena McKennit but I play those when I go to bed =D
I also have Don't Worry (Be Happy) and Star Treckin which is the coolest son, not lame at all =)

Congratulations Beautystar. Hopefully you haven't needed too much concealer because of late nights with the baby. In respect of lame songs, I'm with Jatz. No iPod ... or DVD player, or HD TV set, or even a CD player. I was bought one for my last birthday, but it doesn't work, so I remain a high-tech virgin. Radios, tape decks and standard definition TV sets are too familiar to part with. StayC - does this mean I'm not the only Trekky on this website??

The el-lamo song on my ipod would have to be "papillon" which is a french song, and means butterffly. Its sad because I dont know what its about as its French LOL .
