super-pigmented

I got this at priceline during a sale. I purchased "Super Crump" because I like a bright orangey-red. It is super-pigmented. I love it. The colour on the bottom of the tube is exactly the same colour of the lipstick. I was expecting that it would be a little bit less intense, but it's amazing.

The lipstick has a bit of a floral scent to it, but I didn't find it to be too overpowering. I also found that it went away quickly after application. It didn't have any taste at all.

I find that it doesn't stay on for a long time, but that's not a bad thing. This makes it super-easy to blot so that I can get the right amount of pigment. It also doesn't dry my lips out or damage them like a long-lasting lipstick would. It doesn't stain my lips either, despite the pigment. Love this, going to go buy all of my lipsticks from this range.

Tips

If the pigment is too intense (oops), this is really easy to blot.

Ideal for

Someone looking for a fun, affordable lipstick.

Perfect day time lippy

I purchased this lipstick for $10 in "Ballet". It comes in a black/silver case with the colour of the lipstick as its identifier on the bottom.

First the positives, I really like the colour I bought, it is a nice shade that is a little darker than my natural lip colour and it is great to use for an every day look. It applies easily and has a nice creamy texture.
Now to the negatives, the colour really doesn't last long (Couple of hours at most, even with a lip liner) this is without drinking/eating. Its a little disappointing but since it is a subtle colour it isn't very noticeable when it does start fading, so I can reapply when I feel like it and not worry about people noticing the half faded lipstick on my face. It had a strong scent to it in the tube, but once applied its not noticeable.

Capable Colour

These are good, longish-wearing and nice-feeling cream lipsticks. My personal fave is Can Can (deep plum) but if I'm wanting to do the full 'lips and lashes' things I'll use Grunge (blackberry) - sparingly. For the price, these are a great, standard lipstick with reasonable wear time and good colour payoff.

top lipsticks

I own this in the shade Mambo - nude brown colour and Lick the Icing - Barbie pink shade that pulls slightly purple. The Mambo shade feels very moisturizing on the lips and seems to last a couple of hours. Good for when I want a very neutral colour. Lick the Icing on the other hand is brighter and more daring. I don't find it to feel as moisturizing on the lips as Mambo but definitely seems to have longer staying power - approx. 4 + hrs depending on what you are eating or drinking.

Tips

I really love to wear Lick the Icing with Australis Lambada lipgloss over the top - tones it down slightly and looks amazing!

Cheap thrill!

I was searching for ages for the shade 'Lick the Icing', and was so happy to see it stocked in my local Kmart. Since i've bought it I've been really happy with the colour. The slightly purple undertones in the pink bring out my green eyes, I know that sounds odd. However, only problem I had with this was the packaging, precisely the colour at the bottom, it's a lie. It made the colour seem as if it was going to be a light, almost nudish pink, so I was a bit shocked of it's brightness when I saw the lipstick bullet. But all an all it is a great pink, even for day time!

great drugstore lippy!

I have 3 shades-ballet, foxtrot and honky tonk and all apply fairly smoothly and are nicely pigmented. I find that honky tonk seems to ball up on my lips but if I apply with a lip brush then I don't have that problem. You can't really go wrong with the price and they're often on sale at Priceline.

Great drug store lipstick

I picked up the colour Cha Cha, which is a nice deep red/pink and have fallen in love. The packaging is sturdy but not the most luxurious design. It has a strong plastic/lipstick smell but it doesn't linger once it has been applied. The lipstick texture is creamy, but not soft [if that makes sense!] It can dry on your lips and gather in some places.

Tips

If you have dry, cracked or split lips, I suggest wearing a lip conditioner or lip balm before applying this. It can show imperfections very easily.

Ideal for

This is a great lipstick for the price you pay. I purchased this lipstick bullet almost 12 months ago and it is still going. It has lasted me a long time and the quality has not diminished.

Great colour off and moisturising!

I have the colour Ballet which is a beautiful dusty pink colour. I love the formula. Creamy and moisturising but still full colour. The packaging is cute and has a window at the bottom so you know what colour you are getting. It lasts for me about two hours and then I can still see a bit of staining which fades it out nicely. Will be buying in other colours as well.

My New Favourite

I just tried these for the first time recently and have fallen in love. Soft, creamy and very pigmented. Lasts a few hours. For $12.95, you really can't go wrong.

They also keep your lips moisturised which is a huge plus. Will definitely be going back for more!!
