L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Duo Compact

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Duo Compact is a two-step lip compact that provides strong, long-lasting colour for even the most sensitive lips. The first step is a moisturising base coat that lasts for up to 16 hours. It contains oils and spreading agents for smooth application while sphingolipid and arginine PCA hydrate lips. The second coat is a conditioning topcoat balm that contains silicone for protection, marine collagen to add suppleness to lips, emollient paste for a light, conditioning feel and vitamin E to moisturise. It comes packaged in a mirrored lip duo compact for ease of application. Available in five shades.

Luscious lips? Yep, yep, yep..... :)

I Just have to say that I Love, Love, Love this product! I have tried many "so called" long wear lipsticks & glosses, but this is by far the best one I have ever tried! It is basically like a normal lipstick to apply, but comes with a seperate gloss coating that gives it it's staying power. I love how the lipstick is applied straight from the tube, not with a fiddly little brush or wand. It is wonderful how the lipstick & top coat are kept together neatly in their own little compact case (which also doubles up as a mirror) so no more hunting through your make up case for the other half!! I only have to apply this once and it lasts for the whole day,It does not wear off, so great for wearing to work or a night partying out on the town! I also found that unlike a lot of other long wear lipsticks, this one did not dry out my lips, they still looked & felt as moisturised as always..... so a fantastic choice for a long wear lippy...... Highly recommended!! AAA +++

its ok

i would never pay this price for it but i got the chance to try it because i found it in a priceline discount bin for 2 dollars. I loved the packaging with the reflective casing, this Will definately come in handy.its also very compact and perfect for your clutch.

Definitely longlasting

This product does exactly what it states and it nourishes and stays on your lips for so long! And I love how there is such a wide range of colours! I know that the slightly high pricing is due to the two products but I wish it was a bit cheaper:(

Definitely Infallible

The name is quite appropriate - it did not budge all day long and lasted through drinking and eating and even a few swipes of makeup remover!
The colour was very pretty too, I have Rose Tattoo and Stay on Fire and both looked very opaque and vibrant on my lips.
The only thing is I found that when first applying them, they were a bit dry - it ended up looking like I hadn't applied it properly or I did it in a rush, so I'd recommend try wiping it on the back of your hand or on a tissue before the application because it gets more creamy after and is easier to apply.

stays on but tastes terrible

For some reason i hated the taste of this lipstick. It was a waxy coat on my lips that i was always wanting to wipe off because i could taste it everytime i talked. On the other hand, it was a great colour and stayed on very well. I only had to reapply once for the whole day

good product!

make sure you exfoliate your lips before applying this lipstick! after applying the lipstick, every half hour or so reapply the balm, otherwise your lips will dry out completely!

Terrible

I'll start on the positive, they have nice colours which I like. But that is totally let down by the formula. It flaked like crazy on my lips! It is honestly the worst, most drying out, most flaking long wearing lip colour I've ever used. It started flaking on my within half an hour. It ruined my night out the first time I used it! I kept up the moisture with the balm stick, but no luck, it kept flaking. I ended up having to remove it and it left my lips all sore and red. Not for me.

Long Live Infallible Lippy!!

This duo lip compact officially ended my long and tireless search for the perfect long lasting lipstick. There is just so much I love about this product, most of all that it actually does what it promises!
You get a rich coloured lipstick on one side, and a nourising gloss on the other. The lipstick itself is a good shape, I find it's easy to get into the corners of my cupid's box with it, and the tube is easy to get a good grip of to perfect your application. The texture of the lipstick is quite dry so I've found that I alter the way I would normally apply lippy when I'm using this - instead of trying to glide it across my lips, I dab it on bit by bit taking extra care at the lip line. I remember being quite shocked at just how dry this was when I was first tried the Infallible duo. Don't worry, your fears are put to rest when, after allowing the lippy to completely dry, you then apply the Infallible gloss which has a lovely subtle vanilla scent. It's the final touch to create the perfect lip look that truly lasts all day and night long. I have put this to the test at my mother's recent wedding when it was applied at around 10am and lasted through sipping champagne, kissing relatives, nibbling on finger food and sneaking off for cigarettes. I only needed to reapply the gloss when I felt my lips getting dry again and voila! my lips looked perfect once again.
Not only do I highly recommend the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Duo Compact, I hereby declare that I shall never purchase another long wearing lipstick again!

Long lasting lipstick!

I was in the market for a lipstick that's going to give me a nice Joey Potter sort of colour. Can I just say I failed miserably?

Anyway, I did purchase this lipstick during my incessant search for lipsticks. Well aside from colour (I chose the wrong colour for my skintone), the actual lipstick itself is amazing. I mean I love the packaging so much and the "mirror" effect of the compact.

It is long-lasting and did not leave a stain. It has amazing staying power to the point where I could barely remove it once I applied the lipstick. I needed makeup remover.

Oh and price? It was very reasonable. You cannot get better lipstick at this price. If only I purchased the correct colour!

Fantastic

This lipstick lasts for ages, you can even apply it before bed to test and you wake up in the morning and it is still on. The lip gloss has a beautiful smell too like vanilla. Love this product
