Maybe I just had a crappy f previously but I remember when I used it, it left my face kinda streaky and uneven looking. That brush did look nice and soft though. I'm using a mineral powder foundation atm and I love my kabuki, but if I do use liquid again I may just invest in a better quality foundation brush and see if that makes a difference.

I've always used the cosmetic sea sponges to apply foundation. I find them to be easiest to use. Maybe l'm just old school, l'm sure the brushes are pretty good these days too.

I firstly pour the foundation onto the back of my hand, then apply small amounts to my face with my second and third fingers, Once all my foundation is applied i blend it to perfection with a foundation brush then a large powder brush... WahLaa!

My first foundation brush I used was fairly crappy, it was too soft and plus I didn't take care of it properly and the head came off. Now I have a Napolean one that mother dearest gave me once for Christmas which is really nice, I used to use that heaps. But having gotten frustrated with having to wash it every time I used it (damn acne prone skin) I gave up on that and have since gone back to using my fingers! I like it much better now, so quick and easy!

When did the promotion start? I bought this foundation just yesterday and nowhere did it say that I should have received a brush with it. I'm a bit peeved!

I always use a foundation brush, have been using one since i discovered it on a makeup session at Mecca Cosmetica, and haven't gone back. I get better even coverage and tend to use less so my foundation lasts much longer.

Okay, finished sulking about my missed freebie and am back on topic. I have tried a fair few shapes of foundation brush, and my all-time favourite is the Sigma flat-top synthetic kabuki brush. It makes foundation application faster and easier than any other brush I've tried, and the finish it gives is just beautiful. My skin looks like skin, not like makeup.

this sounds interesting and after watching the video, I want to try it now. Hope it's still a free brush when I get there. I could really see a big difference Deb.

I really like using a foundation brush, saves my fingers from getting grubby! I use my Giorgio Armani or Bobbi Brown foundation brush to apply liquid foundation, but if I'm using compact foundation I use the provided sponge.

I actually find it unsanitary to use your fingers for applying foundation. But then again, the fingers are great at blending the foundation. And of course if I am in a hurry and have no time to get my brush out and take my time; then that's when I would use my fingers for applying. But I prefer using a brush, however, only when I have time.

Great video, Deb! I use a foundation brush most of the time to apply my foundation and powder as I find it gives the best finish. I do sometimes use my fingers still, when in a rush or to better blend certain areas. Cheers, Blissful : )

I just use my fingers as I can warm it up and I get an even coverage. I tried a foundation brush once but it left my face streaky, maybe it was the wrong type of brush.

I always use a foundation brush as I only ever use mineral foundation or powder.

I usually use my fingers, but i think it would be worth getting a brush. I only use one of those thick fluffy brushes which you get with mineral makeup, but have never tried those small foundation brushes for the liquid ones.

I've gone back and foward between using a brush and a sponge, I feel as though the sponge gives me better coverage though :)
