A flawless base is the key to complexion perfection, so if you can get your base looking perfect in just a few minutes, well, you’ll be saving yourself a lot of grooming time!
All you need to ensure you’re up and out the door looking fabulous in a flash is the Jane Iredale The Power of 3 kit. This little beauty contains a Foundation (specially tailored to your skin’s needs, plus a matching foundation brush), a Setting Spritz (that complements your skin type), and a microfibre Magic Mitt to remove your make-up at the end of the day!
The price is determined by which products you choose, but some of the foundations available include; PurePressed Base (for oily and combination skin), Amazing Base, and Liquid Minerals (for skin that needs a hydration shot), and Dream Tint (for those who prefer barely-there coverage).
I managed to corner Jane Iredale Make-Up Artist, Jessica Sharp, post-filming and get her to spill some extra top tips for achieving a flawless face, check them out below…
Jess says:
- Always wash your Magic Mitt in warm soapy water after use. If you take good care of it, it should last you a year!
- Don’t swirl (or buff) your powder foundation into your skin. Rather, sweep it downwards and outwards for a cleaner finish. Press harder for more coverage.
- Make sure you cover your imperfections with a good concealer before you start!
Note: the Power of 3 (as a pack) is only available until September, so get in quick! (The products are always available individually though, so don’t fret!)

I've never tried any Jane Iredale products, but they do look good.

Hi Gorjus, that's a tough one!
The jury is still out on what is better, and i think it's up to the individual. It's a bit of a chicken or the egg debate.
I personally like to do it before and wait 5 minutes before applying my foundation as it doesn't move, provides a flawless base and allows me to wear a lighter coverage foundation without looking 'caked'. But it's up to you! x

A friend told me about Jane Iredale's 'Skin Drink'... I have two girls who have shocking dry lips that bleed every Winter. This product not only saved their lips, it AMAZED me and the 3 of us are users now :) I am in the beauty industry so I can swear by this one. Thanks Susan :) xx
