Backstage beauty trick: get ultra sexy eyes

Fashion week regular and make-up visionary Noni Smith tells how she creates the perfect feline eye for the catwalk ...
"For that really lovely, really sexy cat's eye, I use face lift tape to pull back and elongate the eye. I actually used it at the Michelle Janks show this week," reveals Smith.
"You get it from a professional make-up store. You just attach it to the temple area and pull it back," she details. "There's a thin strap that goes around the back and slips under your hair to hold it in place. It's invisible on the skin and it's not uncomfortable at all.
"It also looks really great on a Saturday night, when wearing your hair down," says Smith. "It gives you such beautiful, slinky eyes."

Interesting product...I'd love to see it in action to see how it really works. I have never heard of these.

I'd love to see a before and after pic of the product being used. It sounds good, but I'm not too sure of the look that it would give.

Interesting concept, does it leave a sticky residue? I'd be concerned that it would look good for a little while and fall out (have completely different shaped eyes). Nah give me makeup anyday.

i'm not to sure i'd go for this. i think if you can acheive the look with makeup that's easier. imagine if one side let go half way through carving up the dancefloor...............................

true true. the whole cat's eye thing is sounding a little creepy. like that lady who had so much surgery to model her face as a cat creepy. ill just stick to eyeliner flicks, no face tape for me. ;P

I don't think I'd wear this face tape as it would be uncomfortable and it would be another thing you'd be conscious of coming away unexpectedly. Just be your natural self is all I say!

this actually sounds a little bit uncomfortable... but then again it wouldn't have been the first time we women have suffered for beauty.

Sounds effective, but pulling the skin taught like that will in the long-term create loose-sagging skin and wrinkles! I'll stick to doing the cats-eye look with liquid eyeliner thanks! ;)
