Glosscar Review
I received a pack from Mirenesse about a month ago with many different products. I was quite happy with my foundation at the time but I thought I would try the magic touch foundation as I had never used a Mirenesse foundation before.
First Impressions:
The Packaging is a thin black bottle that sits on its lid. When I opened the lid, I saw that there was a sponge that sits on the applicator. I hadn't seen this on a foundation before so was quite happy as it would save me some money on my foundation sponges. This foundation smells amazingly good, it doesn't have that strong chemical smell that a lot of other foundations I have used seem to have.
Pros - The shade (vanilla) matched my skintone perfectly and it blends really well with other products. I use this foundation over a primer and it will last all day with no powder used over the top. It leaves my skin looking and feeling dewy and hydrated. If you wanted a matte finish you could easily apply a powder over the top of the foundation. I love the sleek design of the bottle and am happy to have it displayed on my bathroom cabinet.
Cons - The sponge system doesn't work as I had hoped. I thought that if you pressed down on the sponge, the foundation would come through the applicator, however you have to remove the sponge and then squeeze the product out of the tube and onto the sponge before replacing it back on the tube. It is a little complicated and I am not sure if I have a faulty product or if this is simply a design flaw. Also, although this wasn't a problem for me, the foundation only comes in four different shades so it may be hard to match your skintone to a shade perfectly.
Overall: I really love this foundation and will definitely be repurchasing. It provides a medium coverage, it hides my flaws but at the same time doesn't appear 'cakey'. Although $49.50 is the RRP, mirenesse always has great deals on their site so you may be able to snap up a bargain. I got this along with 4 other products and only paid $49.95 so keep that in mind when you look at the price. This foundation also has a SPF15 so it most definitely gets 5 stars for me.

My Favourite Foundation.
The packaging of this foundation is different from anything I have ever used before. You can use the foam applicator which I found to be a little messy and not that easy to use as there is a fair amount of waste. Instead you can twist this off and underneath there is a nozzle which the foundation comes out of. I would suggest that this is the way to go.
