Absolutley beautiful

I received a sample size of this with my beautitorum points. I fell in love straight away. I couldn't believe how quickly it absorbed into my skin and it felt so silky.
The only thing stopping me froim repurchasing is the price. Will wait til its on special to buy

AMAZING!

I just started using it on my nose where i have quite large pores and oily areas with some acne - it really makes it so much smoother and less oilier
Additionally, i use it under my eyes for milia and they definitely look less noticeable

Caused blocked pores

I have been using this primer for a few weeks. I find it easy to apply and that it did work well in minimizing the appearance of my pores, particularly around the nose//cheek area. This primer also smooths out the skin really well creating the perfect base for foundation.

The only problem I have with this primer (and unfortunately it's a big one) is that it has caused blocked pores in my nose area. Because of this I have stopped using it and will not try it again. If you have had problems with blocked pores before I would be careful with this product.

In the absence of my blocked pores I would have given this 4 stars, however due to the skin issues it has caused me, I have decided it is only a 3 star product for me.

took me a while to like it

I am on second jar - first I found it hard to apply, I finally got it right and I even getting comments now on well I look, when I don't feel well at all

Miracle for oily skin!

This is great for minimizing my large pores under makeup and keeps my skin from getting oily for at least a couple of hours after make-up application which is a godsend for me!!!

what my makeup has been lacking all these years!

My main and probably only complaint with this primer would be the container. I wish it came in a squeeze bottle. I'm afraid that with this little pot, I may find it hard to get the last quarter of the product out. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. It may look like this little pot contains a small amount of product, but it contains more than you think.
This primer is a white cream with a subtle and not unpleasant fragrance.
Maybe only 5% of the time have I had trouble with application - most of the time it's easy to apply, whether on my oily t-zone or areas of dryness.
Under foundation it does mattify (I'd rate about 8/10, which is pretty good - I hardly use my blotting papers anymore!); it also increases the staying power and appearance of my foundation (a whole day or evening and still looks perfect). It also makes foundation easier to apply - I use less and it's easier to blend. This primer creates a good barrier between skin and foundation, and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. This primer has not made me break out (which my skin is prone to doing), and I suspect it is even better for my skin to wear this under my makeup instead of just the makeup on its own - this primer hydrates my dry flakey areas, and stops my oily, pimple prone areas from "eating" my foundation and getting all clogged up. Definately recommend for combination skin.
I was doubting whether it would be worth the price - but it is. And if you can get it on sale? Even better!

Growing on me

I wasn't sure the first time I used this as it seemed a bit thick, though I may have just used too much. The thickness surprised me but I think this sets it apart from gel/cream-based primers I'm used to.

I do like the smooth, even finish this gives me and my skin looks great in photos.

The pot bothers me because once I use more I think my stumpy fingers will have trouble getting the rest out!

So smooth

This primer is fantastic! It completely smoothes out your skin and minimises pores without being greasy, in fact it mattifies your skin whilst still being hydrating. Foundation goes on smoother and lasts longer. It's also fantastic as an eyeshadow primer, and keeps eyeshadow in place for hours.
The formula is quite thick and needs to be warmed between your fingers before being applied otherwise it wont spread as well. I received a sample which came in a convenient tube, but the product itself comes in a little tub, which seems a little unhygienic. But those little qualms aside, it is the best primer I've tried!

Truly magic! (Best in Beauty 2012)

I'd never tried any L'oreal products before until L'oreal kindly sent me a sample of this to try & once i did i was so impressed i went out & bought the full sized product as soon as i was able.
This is the best primer i have tried so far.It is easy to apply & is ready for foundation very quickly.
I have used it under foundation ,BB cream & tinted moisturiser & it has performed brilliantly every time.I've even worn it on it's own & i was impressed with that too.
It leaves my face looking fresh , smooth & shine free for hours.I can put it on in the morning & my make up still looks fresh later that night.
It wont make imperfections totally disappear but it makes them much less noticable & i feel that i just look better overall. Ever since i started using this product i have felt so much more confidant in my appearance when i go out.
I have 5 children so i often look tired & i also have pigmentation ,sun marks & some days i just look blah! So this product has been a real life saver & has helped me to feel better about getting older.
I will definitely always have this in my make up kit & highly recommend it to all.
