Brush away imperfections!

When I found this waiting for me after a long day at uni, I was too happy. Quickly unwrapping the parcel like a kid on Christmas, the first thing I noticed was the bright purple packaging. It's an attractive and from what I could tell by looking at it, the shade I picked (Honey) seemed a perfect fit for my olive skin. The brush was soft, and the the bristles quite compact. The instructions for first time use say to twist the purple section of the bottle for a few clicks until the product dispenses. Be careful when you are twisting because the product does suprise you, and the first time I ended up with a bit too much product. For me, one click gives you medium coverage, and two clicks will give you enough product for full coverage. One of the brilliant things is the SPF 19 coverage, and although I rarely put on sunscreen, I know this is what some women look for in their foundation.

I've never tried to apply a liquid foundation with a brush before, so this was quite new for me and I loved it! The application with the brush was smooth and appeared more natural. The texture of the foundation was very light on the skin so it didn't appear heavy, and also the foundation had no scent. I found that this foundation lasted throughout the night and didn't give away my oily T-zone as much as other liquid foundations. Throughout the night of thorough dancing, I only touched up once when my face started getting quite sweaty. I loved the the look this foundation provided, it was perfect. However, the only downside for me is that the product cause some small breakouts on my chin, cheeks and neck. Regardless, I gave this product a day off, and then the next day began using it again. I've found that the breakouts haven't continued which is a relief because I absolutely adore this foundation.

I would recommend this product for anyone who wants medium to full coverage, and has combination skin, leaning towards oily. Although there was the breakouts, I can't help but love this product. It hides all my acne scars (which I'm most self-conscious about), while keeping my T-zone in check. It's a great product overall, absolutely love it! Thank you bh!
