HG!

Good for everyday use, dewy finish, medium-full coverage depending on what and how you apply it. Keeps the skin quite moisturised. Packaging is also good, and pumps give just about the perfect amount. Smells fantastic too! not to over bearing but not to chemical. using shade 54, and matches perfectly AND OF COURSE I LISTENED TO EVERYONES REVIEW BEFORE I BOUGHT IT. gurantee it will not disappoint!!!

Great product

I bought this as I had heard it gave a nice dewy finish and was moisturizing. It feels nice on the skin, and smells wonderful.
This a light coverage foundation, but can be built up to moderate coverage.
It is very affordable, I bought it on special from Priceline at $25.
Most foundations aren't light enough for me, but the lightest (light vanilla) was the perfect shade.

One of the best

seriously, this stuff is amazing. it made my skin clear up, smells awesome when you put it one and goes away shortly, super nice finish - glowy/dewy, perfect for those with dry skin, oily maybe not so much, but i'm sure it could work with a good setting/mattifying powder. it does last a good while and has solid medium coverage and it will never make you look cakey! two thumbs up from me.

Thanks to Lisa Edridge who recommend this foundation in her videos. It gives a nice coverage and really gives my skin a healthy glow and did not accentuate my pores. Love love love it. Use it almost everyday and I have tons of foundations. That says a lot.

Great foundation, but poor lasting power

This foundation goes on really smoothly and has a lovely natural finish. The major problem is that it simply does not last as long as it claims (16 hours). In fact it doesn't even last a couple of hours, let alone 16. Very disappointing that it does not do what it claims (even if it lasted 6-8 hours I would absolutely love it), but does give a beautiful finish.

One of the greatest

I love love love this foundation. I found the perfect color (vanilla) to match my skin tone, I have always had trouble trying to find the right one but bourjois have got it right! The foundation is light weight and non-drying. Usually I need to apply moisuriser before foundation, but with this one my skin does not feel dry. It gives great even, medium coverage and has a slight fruity scent. I will purchase again.

absolutely amazing

I had quite high expectations for this foundation after reading all the reviews and ratings. This product didn't let me down! The pump is very controllable and I can get the exact amount of product I need. The texture is smooth and quite runny. It blends amazingly and just melts into the skin. The scent is delicious and very subtle, fruity and bearable. The makeup lasts a long time but if I blot, a little bit of it tends to rub off. I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this foundation because of its yellow undertones. I have asian skin and I always find it hard to find a foundation that doesn't look pink on me. After I've applied it, the colour on my face and neck match for once! I would recommend this foundation to all skin types with yellow or neutral undertones. My fave foundation so far!!

Chanel dupe but better!

If you are like me and have discovered that the best foundation is Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua and therefore hate that you can't always have it given the price - then Bourjois' Healthy Mix Foundation is for you and it's better! (I think Chanel and Bourjois are owned by the same company).

The scent of Healthy Mix is also reminiscent of Chanel's Hydra Beauty Serum which I adore (luxurious white floral and marine notes I think)!!!

My only issue with Bourjois' is that there could have been another shade in the range between 52 and 53 that would have been perfect for me but the colours are still workable. It's good to have 2 shades anyway a lighter and darker shade and you can always blend them together.

On the other hand my issue with Chanel's is that it doesn't last long and doesn't control oily t-zone well over the day however Bourjois does!

Also Bourjois is more pigmented you can get away with one pump whereas you need more of Chanel's to achieve the same cover.

Otherwise the look and feel you get with both is very similar. Overall though I will be rating Bourjois' higher than Chanel's!!!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:

* In feel - skin-like, not oily not dry just soft baby smooth that holds up all day. Amazing balancing abilities!
* In look - dewy, glowing, satin, luminous, dimensional, natural, skin-like without being sparkly and that holds up all day.
* Oil control - don't know how it does it without looking flat/ stark matte, mask like or feeling dry and chalky but it does and does it all day! Contains aluminium starch.
* Hydration - contains panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin so if you have normal/combo/oily skin you won't need a seperate moisturizer. Won't dehydrate your skin throughout the day.
* Line Smoothing - plumps fine lines, skin looks toned without getting into or highlighting pores and creases. Contains lots of silicones.
