great coverage matte look
I was using loreal lumi magique which is glowy but goes all oily & shiny after a while, so I have switched to Revlon photo ready, I love the coverage I love that it is matte (not shiny) . The coverage is great but at the same time it is not cakey looking which is a big plus. This is now my go too everyday foundation. A little goes a long way.
I apply using napoleon's complexion perfection brush which buffs out the foundation beautifully

Perfect for every day - medium coverage.
This foundation is fantastic for every day use for someone that likes to look a little more done up without being over the top. It's not full coverage but it provides something in between a 'natural' look and full coverage. It doesn't last the same all day though but looks fantastic for a few hours (however, my high expectations of long-wear foundation may be bias so won't affect the rating). Using a bit of the PhotoReady powder over the top makes it last a little longer and because the colours match perfectly I just use the powder for a touch up.
I disagree with the previous ratings about the shimmer being over the top, it isn't a sparkle but I guess for someone that wants a more natural look it may be a bit much.
The only issue I have personally had is due to my normal to dry skin. When my skin is a little dry it doesn't go on so well so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with dry skin (or sunburn).
Use with the PhotoReady powder for absolutely flawless skin.

GREAT FOR NIGHTS OUT BAD DAY TIME- dry skin
this is a great foundation that looks flawless when applied but dries up fast around nose and eyebrows, I have tried with different powders/ primers and setting sprays but can't seem to find a way to reduce it drying out. Still looks good at night time just way to full coverage for day time.
moisturise a before applying a primer if you have dry skin.Use a hydrating setting spray to reduce drying up
Nights out because it stays on and doesn't budge

Not a Fan
Okay let's start of say I have normal combo skin, and I find this foundation just does not work for me. I find it really had to blend nicely in to the skin, it looks cakey no matter how I apply it. I think it is the worst foundation I have used.

Perfect high coverage everyday/going out foundation
I love this foundation with a passion. I first got to try it a few years ago when I had my first formal and was not very keen on it but after continuous use of it , I realised just how good the coverage was as it is easy to build up and does not turn out cakey. It is a good foundation if you have oily skin as it does not oil up easy and another great thing is that the darker foundation colours do not go orange

Needs a primer underneath
I have dehydrated skin which makes it difficult for me to find a foundation that doesn't show my flaky patches, particularly on my cheeks and in between the eyebrows. Unfortunately this foundation just didn't quite make the cut in that department. However, I'm not going to penalise Revlon too much for that as I have the same problem with most foundations on the market. I do find using a primer underneath eliminates this problem so that the foundation can glide on smoothly. But I have used other foundations that simply don't need a primer underneath, and so for that reason it loses a star.
On all other counts this foundation triumphs. It provides a medium, natural looking coverage that isn't at all cakey and stays on all day. It's buildable too, which makes it perfect for a day in the office or a night out. It does have a slight shimmer in the formula but I don't mind that at all. It really does look nice in photos, perhaps because it reflects the light in just the right way. Although my skin is dehydrated it is also oily in some areas (the joys) and this seems to stay on throughout the day without the need for touch ups besides the odd powdering of the nose. I haven't suffered any breakouts so it seems like it would be fine for those with slightly sensitive skin. PhotoReady is available in a good range of colours, I have this in 003 Shell which is my perfect match.
Overall I would not recommend this to those with dry flaky skin, but for those with normal/combo skin I think this is a good all round foundation.

Dupe for MACs mineralized finish foundation
This foundation is exactly what I look for in my foundations. It has shimmer in it so it reflects light, brightens the skin and looks natural on the skin. I use a little bit of this on my skin before my powder on days when I feel that I need a bit more coverage. The pump on the bottle makes it hygienic to use and pumps out the perfect amount.

Great for a good night out
I rarely use make-up so when I do I like to not go all out and make it obvious. Revlon Photoready make-up is perfect for that night out and having a natural look with your make-up. It covers up any blemishes I might have that day. Although I pay the price the next morning from the oils. Love this product and get great comments whenever I wear it.

This is a great foundation but can be very sparkly in some lights I have been told that people can see some sparkled and I don't particularly like that in a foundation, but other than that great coverage, only need a little to cover whole face and amazing staying power,

I decided to try this product as I heard a lot of good reviews on this product. And I'm not disappointed. This foundation provides a medium to full coverage and sits well on my skin. I have normal to dry skin and from what I found is that I prefer this over the color stay line of this brand. I feel that photo ready is more suited for drier skin. In terms of scent, there is a faint smell but nothing noticeable when applied. I also like how Revlon foundations in general come in many shades and makes it easier for me to choose the best shade for my skin. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that dry patches do appear after 3-4 hours particularly around my nose area. Staying power is decent and I tend to use my Bourjois primer as a base.
