Cheap but didn't do much

This was the first primer I ever used. It is certainly much cheaper than other primers but I didn't really notice a difference in how my makeup looked.

So-so

This primer does its job, however very average, nothing special. Give my skin a cooling affect, and acts more of a moistriser more than anything. There have been better primers that give a smoother and softer effect to the skin.

First Primer

I have never used a primer before with my make-up and only until today, as I was roaming the cosmetics isle, I came across this beauty. not only does it feel like a protective barrier against my skin from my make-up but it leaves my skin feeling soft after removing it.

Not that impressed!

I've tried this for ages now, so I can definitely provide better feedback than if I had've just tried this for a couple of weeks or days.

Not that impressed at all, unfortunately! I dislike the film and thought that it didn't make applying (liquid) foundation any easier at all. It wasn't smoother and it was a bother to wait until it had all sunk in to apply the foundation. It kinda felt like this layer of moisturiser that didn't want to sink in to my skin. Anyway, the foundation didn't gain any extra staying power.

Pros: the scent wasn't annoying nor overpowering. Definitely a cheap purchase, but again you still want something that could work for you.

I'm going without it for now. I understand that it works for some and this primer is highly reviewed, but now I definitely want to try the Photoready one instead. The texture felt so smooth and creamy as opposed to this one's gel-like texture.

Stops make-up sliding off

The Australis primer is great, it's affordable and effective!
Before using this, my foundation would only last about an hour or two but now it stays on for up to 8 hours!!
My skin is like an oil slick too, so I was especially surprised to find that this worked.

Great product

I bought this product as I was sick of paying almost $60 for my old primer which only lasted about a month. This primer keeps my foundation on all day, it's cheap, it dries quickly once applied and my skin felt quite smooth after application. I will probably continue to buy this product over the more expensive brand.

Great value.

Works perfectly on my skin and creates an excellent canvas for my foundation. My makeup stayed on longer and it feels so light and fresh. It's just as great as the higher priced primers.

This was the first Australis product I ever purchased and gave me more confidence in their brand.

Amazing.

I purchased this product just before last weekend. I love the fact you only need to use less than a 5c piece size dollop to cover your whole face and neck! Its also a fantastic price and is very light on the skin. I used this along with Australis' Translucent powder and i got many compliments on my makeup over the weekend and it didnt fade, run or smudge. Totally stoked! I suggest using these two products together as they are cheap and affordable and work a treat!

Why does this stuff burn!!

I have a just opened tube of this stuff sitting in my make up drawers. I used it for about a week and then stopped, as I dont believe it my primer should give a "burning" feeling around the eyes/nose after application. I'm sure it works, but I don't like the feeling it gave my skin

i have been using this primer and to be honest its not worth it, it feels like im putting moisturiser on my skin and it doesnt really do much for my makeup either
