Prefer the Conceal Correct Palette

Purchased this in green along with the conceal correct palette, as much as the product applies very well and easily that's probably where the good points end.

The product is much too runny for my liking and the shimmer is also not the greatest when you are attempting to conceal a particular area. I used in conjunction with Australis primer and their paparazzi perfect foundation and still the underlying redness around my nose was a concern.

I much prefer the conceal correct palette and find the more solid concealers provide a better overall product.

Why would you put glittes in a concealer?

I was at priceline trying out different concealers for my redness and this was the only one that actually made some difference.
The next day in day light I realized it was shimmery ??? why would someone think its a good idea to have a concealer with glitters???

But to the good news (I did give it 4 stars for a reason) - under the foundation I can't see the glitters and I've applied it on before exercising and expected my face to be completely red and it actually didn't look so bad...

So overall I'm actually happy with this product ...

Redness

I loved the idea of this product as lately I have had some redness around my nose a cheeks.

Unfortunately there was no sample to me to have a look at before purchasing, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it.

The first thing that I didn't like was the shimmer particles in it, it seemed to show up under my make up and highlight my imperfections.

The second was that i was very watery and seemed to sit in my pores making them look worse than they really are.

Overall a very disappointing products from one of my favourite company's.

Good but maybe a little too watery to work with

I use both the green and gold correctors under my foundation. The green corrective will reduce and cover any redness. The gold one is a little tricky to work with. Gold (yellow) will balance out dark purple bags under the eyes; this product is best apply before foundation but you can apply it over your foundation. To reduce the shininess, gently apply a little powder over the top.

Best under foundation

These products must really be used under foundation. On their own they're way too shimmery and green/gold. I do prefer the green one, it really helps reduce redness around my nose. The gold one is not as effective on dark circles as I would have hoped.

too shimmer

this product covers slight redness but not if you have alot. i think this product has way to much shimmer and leaves a shiny sheen on your face

Purse Worthy

This is something I purchased on a whim. I put it in my handbag and I use it for touch ups during the day (along with my Perfection Brush On Illuminating Wand) for under my eyes where I get fall off and those pesky bags. Definitely helps to hide your under eye baggage. It may look a bit shimmery but it is nothing to worry about as it does not show shine on the skin, just illuminates it. For the best application, I pat it onto the area rather than spread it otherwise you won't get any coverage and it will disappear.

Did not really work for me

I picked up the green colour corrector and thought I would try it to counteract the small amount of redness I had. It applied nicely, but the colour was so sheer that I had to use a fair amount on my skin. Another downside to this product is the shimmer visible in the coverage, and with the amount I needed, I thought I looked like Edward Cullen standing in the sun. Honestly, I would not use this again just based on the shimmer detail but it may work for others.

Prefer the green

Although the shimmering particles can be a bit off putting at first, these products are designed to be used under foundation. If you just used it on its own it would look very odd. Under foundation though it really does help counteract redness and overall for such a cheap product it really does work wonders!
