Amazing staying power and coverage
This is a medium to full coverage foundation that lasts ALL day and probably all night if you really wanted it too. It tricks me into thinking that my skin looks amazing but then I wash it off and realise that's not the case!
I am going to talk about the older version (without the pump). When I first opened it, it smelt SO strongly of paint...why? This still confuses me, it is such a strong chemical smell that it seems almost like face paint. This is why I'm taking a star off.
It does dry quickly so you have to blend it fast, but it doesn't go cakey at all. It looks natural and covers blemishes/redness well so I can usually skip concealer. It dries to a matte finish which is what I prefer.
Being a full coverage foundation, it doesn't feel too heavy on the skin unless I layer it on (which I try to avoid!). Without primer, it lasts a long time and won't budge until I use an oil based makeup remover.

Great but pricey.
I think this is the only foundation I have ever found to actually perfectly match my skin! It stays on for most of the day and doesn’t leave my skin feeling cakey. I generally use this during the Autumn and Winter months only because it gets really pricey in Australia and I am in no way going to pay almost $40 for this foundation, no matter how good it is.

Ive only just starting using this foundation in sandy beige, previously I had been using MAC studio fix in NW20. I love my mac but being so far away from a store its hard in emergencys, inhad read reviews claiming colorstay was very very similar to mac. I would have to agree, the texture and coverage is very similar.
It comes in a nice large bottle with the pump included added bonus. The downside is that whilst ive gotten the one for oily skin its 2pm and it looks like you can cook chips off my face.
Other than the shin I would keep buying this and recommend it to others. Great coverage.

I tried this product for the first time two weeks ago. At first, I was very dissapointed. Although the coverage was good, it got cakey very quickly. I felt like I had been let down by the reviews I had read and wasted my money.
However, I have now started to mix it with my face cream and it's a whole new product!! It's not cakey anymore, the coverage is still beautiful and my faith in the product has now been renewed.
It provides me with flawless coverage and a beautiful, natural look. The best liquid foundation I have used. Love it!
Mix it with your foundation. It will not be cakey.

How have i only just discovered this. Love it!
I have been using this foundation for a couple of months now. When i first started using it the weather was quite warm so i was setting the foundation, but with far less powder than i have had to use with other foundationsl. Now the weather is cooling down i dont have to set it at all which is a completely first for me! It has a gorgeous matte finish on my skin without making it look too dull and seems to have quite decent staying power, only slightly coming off towards the end of the day even on my oily skin.
The colour range is amazing as well, im quite fair and find it difficult to find a suitable foundation but ive been using buff which is perfect. And i imagine as i lose my summer "tan" ivory will be okay too.
I also love the pump packaging which i understand is new.
I dispense a small amount onto the back of my end and rub it until its warmed up slightly, then apply with as stippling brush. I find it is alot easier to apply and the finish is a lot more flawless with the warming first, something i only read about recently but i may just be slow to find this out.

Not as much coverage as I hoped
I find the new formula provides less coverage than the original and I was disappointed.
This foundation also clogged my pores and broke me out a little.
The pump is great though.

Good ol' Colorstay
So many love this product and I am definitely one of them. It is very long-lasting, has a matte finish, keeps my t-zone oil free for a good amount of time, and also makes my skin look flawless by covering up majority of active pimples and my hyper pigmentation from previous breakouts.
It is oil-free and has never broken me out but the colour selection of Colorstay has always disappointed me. Golden Beige suits me at my lightest (NC30) and is said to be the most yellow-toned out of all the shades.
I bought the new 'time-release' formula w/ a pump in 'Natural Tan' which is neutral leaning towards yellow so its my best match when my skin tone is normal to tan (NC35-37).
Other than that, I have repurchased this many times in the past but I now prefer the new formula/packaging much better which is still very similar IMO.
I would recommend this if your looking for a full coverage/ long lasting foundation or if you have trouble with foundation lasting on your oily t-zone!

You can stop looking!
I love this foundation. I try the other revlon foundations thinking they'll be this amazing but STOP with this one! You won't find better.
It stays on well, has good coverage, isn't shiny or oily AND has colours for fair skin. I mix it with sunscreen/moisturiser and still get great coverage!

Holy Grail foundation
what can I say about this!
it is my holy grail foundation, and I am in love.
I have tried to compare it to brands such as Mac, Estes Lauder, tarte, YSL and nothing compares!
I have been using this foundation for about 5-6 years now and I will never use anything else. over the years the formula has changed a little but I still love it more then ever. I have used many different techniques to apply this and have found that a sigma flat top kabuki is the best way for me.
I love that this foundation is true to its word. it is a medium to full coverage foundation, which doesn't oxidize much, and doesn't transfer! it stays on all day for me (except my oily nose and chin) and looks as fresh as it did when I first applied it. you can build up the coverage in your trouble spots as well.
this foundation doesn't break me out or smell really bad, and I just love it so much

I know I'm in the minority with this, but I detested this foundation! It was cakey, dried too quickly, and is impossible to set with a powder because any hard work you put in getting rid of the cakiness just from initial application is destroyed as it instantly cakes again! What a waste of money! The only good thing that can be said about this is the colour range.
